Lower level apartment of owner's cottage–quiet and private (not entire home)

Kids and adults alike enjoy exploring the shoreline of this unique property by kayak, paddle board, hiking or swimming. Water shoes are available from the owners and they will gladly let you borrow their kayaks and paddle boards – or bring your own!

Newly built in 2017, the lower level apartment has one bedroom and one bath with a large kitchen and living room. The futons in the living room can accommodate additional guests.

We had such a lovely time. Dave and Tim’s recommendations for hikes, activities and restaurants were absolutely perfect. I loved falling asleep and waking up to the sound of the waves against the shore. This property is truly a gem !

We absolutely enjoyed our time at Norh Paw. Beautiful apartment. Amazing scenery out over Hay Bay, sunrises, sunsets. And just watching the trees and water or kayaking on the bay. So restful.Close to a variety of trails and restaurants. Dave and Tim are great to work with! Top recommendation!!

Our stay at North Paw was amazing. It is a beautiful, quiet location with super views over Lake Huron. The living area was spacious and comfortable. There were ample places to enjoy the outdoors as well. We felt a warm welcome from our hosts, Tim and Dave. They were happy to make our experince great. We really enjoyed kayaking.

The hosts are amazing and their hospitality is top notch! From the clean and spacious apartment to the outdoor life that feels like we have everything we possibly need for a great weekend. North Paw is truly magical that leaves you never stop exploring and being in awe of the nature around you. Would definitely recommend staying here while you’re in Tobemory!

Beautiful property only minutes away from Tobermory. The guest space has everything you could ask for and Tim & Dave were gracious hosts. We’ll be back to their piece of paradise in warmer months to enjoy the water. In the meantime the many birds, including herons & hummingbirds, and the sunrises & sunsets were more than enough!

Our stay was wonderful! North Paw was clean, cozy and the view was exceptional. Our hosts have gone out of their way to make it a great experience with walking trails, campfire with wood, outdoor chairs and cushions. We thoroughly recommend NorthPaw, especially if you enjoy the outdoors.

The stay at north paw was fantastic and the view we're breathtaking, the host dave & tim greeted us as we arrived vere friendly showed and where things where and was always willing to help if we needed it. Would definitely stay here again

We loved our stay and Dave and Tim are amazing hosts. The privacy and peacefulness were fantastic. Only 5 minutes away from the grocery store too which was very handy. We’ll be back!

Relaxing stay by the lake

Amazing well kept property, and a great place to recharge and watch the stunning sunrises and sunsets. Very welcoming hosts as well. Super clean and organized, and we loved the labels!
