Lower level apartment of owner's cottage–quiet and private (not entire home)

Kids and adults alike enjoy exploring the shoreline of this unique property by kayak, paddle board, hiking or swimming. Water shoes are available from the owners and they will gladly let you borrow their kayaks and paddle boards – or bring your own!

Newly built in 2017, the lower level apartment has one bedroom and one bath with a large kitchen and living room. The futons in the living room can accommodate additional guests.

Wonderful!

We were absolutely delighted with our choice! The property is in a fantastic location, so close to the water and beautifully quiet, surrounded by nature but with quick access by car to Tobermory. The property is spotless, cozy yet modern and extremely well equipped. Bed was very comfortable. We particularly enjoyed the kayaks and sitting beside the fire gazing up at a sky full of stars. Dave and Tim are wonderful hosts, extremely thoughtful, kind and knowledgeable. Truly, this is a gem and we'll definitely return!

Beautiful spot with very well equipped and thoughtfully curated space!

Spent a long weekend on a girls trip and loved our stay at Tim, Dave and Cinder’s place. The accommodations were spacious, very clean and the hosts have done an excellent job of equipping the space with thoughtful and practical details to maximize our stay. Tim and Dave were very welcoming and responsive, would definitely recommend this place and I look forward to returning!

Relaxing stay by the lake

Amazing well kept property, and a great place to recharge and watch the stunning sunrises and sunsets. Very welcoming hosts as well. Super clean and organized, and we loved the labels!

Tobermory gem

I cannot say enough about the beautiful location and comfortable and clean accommodations. Dave and Tim are amazing hosts who care very much about making their guests happy and at home. The property and waterfront are incredible, secluded and the house is not too far away from local restaurants and attractions. My teens and I have already talked about when we will be back!

North Paw Getaway

I took my children here for a vacation. They have never been to Tobermory. It was absolutely wonderful. The cottage and landscape was beautiful. Our hosts were exceptional. Overall it was a great experience. We would definitely go back.

Tim and Dave are wonderful hosts, very attentive and helpful. They have everything well organized from water shoes handy to go kayaking to outdoor furniture cushions and fireplace set up etc. The property is stunning and quiet, you can see the sun rise and the sun set. The harbour and restaurants in Tobermory are just minutes away. We had a great time there!

From the minute we've arrived we loved absolutely everything; location was ideal, our accomodations were very comfortable, our hosts were welcoming and provided us with everything we needed. Perfect gateway retreat!

We had a wonderful stay at Dave and Tim's place. They are very attentive and welcoming hosts. The apartment was clean, confortable and has amazing views. Best trip ever!!

Dave and Tim were so kind to my family! We felt like we were visiting long time friends. There is a wonderful energy and love that they shared with us for their home and property. My kids loved learning about the land and playing on the “paw”. The amenities were cozy, clean, and made us feel at home. We will definitely be back!! Oh, and if you love fluffy clean white towels and crisp sheets, this is your place!! The compost bowl was also a hit for my kids, they loved being able to add to the beautiful garden! Thank you Dave and Tim!!

Beautiful lakeshore property cared for with love by Dave and Tim. Bring your own tea or coffee and enjoy this exceptional retreat. Clean, spacious and beautifully decorated inside and outside. Hosts are very nice and attentive to our needs.

First time in Tobermory

Dave, Tim and Cinder are so very welcoming. Their property is stunning and relaxing. The property was well furnished and incredibly clean. Whenever we had questions they were quick to respond. We highly recommend this property.

Vacation

Lovely place. The hosts were excellent. Accommodations one of the best we have ever had. Kayaking was a main goal and with four to pick from… kayaking heaven. Nice small downtown with restaurant choices plus a grocery store not too far away PLUS a garden to pick tomatoes from!! We had a true vacation.

Our third stay in this little paradise!

Just got back from yet another amazing stay with Dave, Tim and Cinder at North Paw! Morning coffee in our PJs standing on the alvar overlooking the bay with sunshine on our faces, fantastic kayak trips in the clearest of waters checking out the nearby shipwreck of the Avalon Voyager II, great hikes, abundant wildlife and camp fires to finish off the day. We just LOVE the simplicity and peace and quiet here. It's the perfect place to truly disconnect and recharge our batteries. Bliss.

Peaceful Paradise

Dave and Tim are perfect hosts. You get both sunrise and sunset, stars on clear nights, kayaks, a big bay, islands to explore: a total escape from the frenetic pace of city life. Nature and water at the doorstep.
