Charming cottage available on Murray Lake located 30 minutes east of Grand Rapids, Michigan. This is a beautiful all sports late with amazing sunsets.
3 bedrooms, 1 bath, sleeps up to 8 (one queen bed for 2, one full for 1 or 2, two twins bunked for 2, two pull out sofa sleepers for 1 or 2 each.
Lawn chairs, picnic table, grill, dock, floating raft, fire pit, four paddle boards, one kayak and one row boat available for your enjoyment. You may bring your own fishing or powered boat if you’d like.
No pets and no smoking please.
The cottage sits at the bottom of a steep driveway. There is parking spots for two cars at the bottom of the drive, and two more spots at the top of the driveway.
Linens and towels provided. Washer and dryer on site. Central heat/air. WIFI.

Great getaway

Absolutely loved our stay at the cottage. The lake is clear and beautiful with lots of paddle boards, kayaks, floats to use. The house had everything we needed for our stay. We had a wonderful time here.

This is the second year in a row we have stayed at the this property. My kids love staying here. Very quiet and relaxing with plenty to do. House is exactly what we are looking for.

5 star stay!

This was the perfect quiet lake getaway for our family. Bunk beds for the kids—games and a perfect little sandy beach as you walk out of the house. Full kitchen that made it perfect for meals in. Just an overall great job with the amenities. Great communication with the host. We will 100% be back—thank you Tracy!

Charming cottage on the Lake

We throughly enjoyed our stay at this cottage on Murray Lake! We brought our jet skiis and the lake was perfect for riding and tubing. The dock was perfect to tie up to and spent a lot of time fishing off it too. The cottage was super clean and stocked with everything we needed. Tracy was wonderful and quick about answering our texts. She even offered us an extra day to stay when her plans changed!! We would definitely love to come back and stay here in the future!

Cottage with a view!

The view enough is reason to stay! Can’t thank these guys enough for opening this up to us and giving us endless memories on the lake. Our 9 year old loves to fish and spend all free time on the dock or learning the kayak. Beds were comfy & my kids loved having sleepovers in the living room & watching the sunrise on the lake. Check in was a breeze & Tracy was very easy to reach at all times!

Lake house

Our stay was fantastic. Our family of four enjoyed the home and location . The house was very comfortable and cozy and super clean. Tracy provided everything you could need. We loved the row boat and paddle boards and caught many fish right off the dock. We would definitely recommend this place for a great relaxing vacation .

Absolutely Fantastic

This is a wonderful little lake house! Perfect for a young family of 6. Beach area into the water is perfect for younger children. You can walk all the way out to the floating dock. The fishing was amazing. There is quite a bit of things to do within 20 minutes on a rainy day as well. Tracy was an awesome host and communicated well. We would definitely like to come back again.

Simple so comfortable

Staying here was so relaxing! The house has such a cute cottage feel and provided everything I’d hoped for in a cottage stay- clean water for swimming, beautiful sunsets, fun fishing, all the beds were comfortable and I super appreciated the washer and dryer and how many towels were available!

A Perfect Retreat

The house was everything we needed. Not fancy. Certainly a comfy summer lake home with a perfect Florida room that looks right out over the lake. We couldn't ask for more if we were barbecuing or lying out on the dock late at night watching stars. And it's one of the quietest places I've ever been, which was a wonderful break. Thankyou, Tracy, for providing such a wonderful place and being so very responsive to our questions. If it's possible, we'll be back.

Vacation week in Michigan

Myself and my family overall really enjoyed this property. There was multiple things available for use at the home which we definitely took advantage of. Another note for the the outdoor fisherman multiple family members including myself caught numerous types of fish which added to the fun. Would highly recommend.

Peaceful Getaway close to Grand Rapids

Property was as advertised. Clean and cozy lake cottage. We really enjoy hanging out in the sand/water with our 2.5 year old. Great stay and we will definitely keep this on our short list of properties for future stays.

Amazing property

We found this place spotless upon entry. We are OCD neat people and we found it very clean. There is an ample supply of bath and beach towels and sheets. Extra blankets were in the large ottoman in sitting area. Beds / mattresses are comfortable (not too old) and sheets and linens seem brand new. Sooo the listing says it’s only 800 square feet .. I guess I’ll believe it, but it felt much bigger as far as accommodating our group of 7. The bedrooms are on the small side but you spend all your time outside anyway. The lake was WARM in mid to late June and the bottom is very sandy and nice. We brought our jet ski and the dock is just so nice. We were there Wednesday to Sunday and pretty much had the lake to ourselves. Not a lot of traffic per neighbors unless it’s a holiday. Oh and btw the neighbor on the left as you stand at lake and face house was not really there and their house is way up the hill. The neighbors to the right we met up to two houses down and they were all super nice. The cottage has lawn chairs and paddle boards for your use. There are also nice little touches throughout … laundry soap provided etc. Kinda ridiculous how cute this place is. We highly recommend!

Our long weekend on the lake

We had a wonderful stay. The rooms are small but most of our time was spent outside. The small kids enjoyed the sandbox and the shallow water was perfect for our 1 and 3 year old grandchildren. The garage has many boats/kayak that we enjoyed using. The kids fished off the dock and caught many small fish. In the evening we had a fire in the fire pit and roasted marshmallows. The towels are thick and nice. There is a good shower. There are a lot of twists and turn to get there but our GPS got us there with no problems

Perfect family getaway on a gorgeous lake!!

My husband and I took our first family vacation with our little boys (5&3). This location and Cute Cottage was PERFECT!! The water was beautiful, the dock was perfect for our kids to jump off, fish, and great for docking our boat! Tracy was very helpful and available when we needed her! We unfortunately lost power for a few days but she sent her nephew Ryan out to hook up a generator for the fridge and a few lights and he was great! My only suggestion would be to get a bigger generator in case power ever goes out again that can run the pump for water. We made the best of it while the power was out. The dock is great for catching fish!! We must have caught 50+ fish right off the dock. The bonfire pit was great and the sunsets were gorgeous! We will definitely be back to this family cottage!

wonderful get away

The house is relatively small and the lower bunkbed very close to upper, but other than that Awesome! The lake was so clean and warm. The use of paddleboards and kayaks were wonderful. The dock was really nice and we were able to fish right off dock and catch some huge fish!

traditional cottage with lots of amenities

Everything at the property was great and Tracey was very easy to deal with. The house is small but they've made good use of the space. There are lots of water toys and great swimming area for small kids. It's very sandy clear lake and stays shallow till midway down the dock. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely consider again.

This cottage is my happy place that we purchased for our family to enjoy. We don't get to use it as much as we'd like but we don't like to see it sit vacant while others could be enjoying it too. We try to put any proceeds from renting back into the cottage to keep making it better year after year. Within the last couple of years, we updated the bathroom and living room, added a 9' sliding door to be able to see the lake from inside as well as out and added a granite countertop in the kitchen. We also added a new dock that is so handy to dock boats. The end of the dock has a double section that some have been known to use for yoga or sitting and watching the sun set.
