This house has rustic charm and is well suited for anyone who enjoys the quiet beauty of Bucks County country life while being only a stones throw from dozens of charming restaurants, bars, and galleries. This home is great for anything from a secluded romantic getaway or for families and groups looking for a relaxed country retreat. Bridal parties will enjoy staying here. Here are some details of this hill top estate:

This room is another sitting area with a gorgeous view of the property. This room has a half bath and is perfect for a quiet time sitting and reading one of our many art books.

BEDROOMS

Blue Room
This rooms windows look out on front yard. There is a king size bed, flat screen TV and one closet. We keep one single floor mat in this room.

Purple Room
This room has 2 queen size beds and a closet. Windows over look front and side yard with view of old tree house.

Pink Room
This room has a king size bed, private bathroom and beautiful view of front yard and old tree house. This is the room we keep the pack and play and a single size floor mat.

WINTER HOLIDAYS AT MOUNTAIN HOUSE

Thanksgiving- Perfect to host a family event with a fully stocked kitchen, we can provide seating for up 15 at the table and another 4 at card table if you wish.

Christmas - We will be decorating the house for christmas, complete with tree and lights all you need to do is come sit by the fire with your friends and family. For Christmas we are asking a 4 day minimum stay.

New Years Eve- Our secluded location is a perfect place to bring in the new years. Champagne toast in the hot tub!

Loved our stay here! The place was so clean and in such a fantastic location. The host was very communicative. Can't recommend this place enough if you're looking to get away near the New Hope area.

Beautiful serene getaway like a secret garden tucked way but still so close to so many fun things. Peddlers village, new hope and lambertville are all only 5-10 minutes drive away

Everything was nice and clean. The house was just as pictured. Towels and linens provided, along with kitchen necessities. All you have to do is buy your own food and drinks. I bought extra paper towels and napkins because we use a lot. David was a great host, he responded quickly to my questions and concerns.

Great stay and perfect location to all surroundings towns. Loved layout of home and so much room to spread out. Home away home with all the necessities. Beautiful backyard with so much wildlife. My family also loved the goats out front. Hope to come back for summer.

We really enjoyed this house. It is quirky, delightful, and there is a surprise at every corner - lots of artwork and 3 pianos! There were actually 5 bedrooms in addition to the pull out sofa and daybed in the game room. Pool was warm and very clean, as was the hot tub. My family spent hours around the pool table in the game room. The kitchen is great - a large refrig/freezer and plenty of work space. A large assortment of pots and cooking supplies as well as herbs, spices and condiments. A huge closet full of towels and sheets. Three separate areas to hangout indoors, in addition to the beautiful yard. The owner checked in a few times and was quick to respond to any communication. I really appreciated their flexibility in allowing us to have guests join us for a 40th birthday party. The house, some of the furniture and linens are all older and they do show wear and tear. There is also a fair amount of miscellaneous clutter that could be cleaned out. But honestly, we found it charming - like being at your great-grandma's! The driveway is steep and narrow, but it was fine as long as you take it slow (I was nervous about this from reading other reviews, but it truly was no big deal). We would definitely stay here again and highly commend the hosts for going out of their way to provide a wonderful experience!

Beautiful house and property on top of the mountain as described. The place was impeccably clean and offered everything we needed. The pool and hot tub were very relaxing. Amazing host! Will definitely like to come back.

It was a great stay. The home is beautiful, spacious and private. Great way to spend with close friends or loved ones away from all the goings of city life but close enough if you need to make a run to a store. Would recommend anyone to book. The host is great and easy to get in contact with!

The mountain house was a perfect family retreat for our 4th of July get together. The home is closely situated to New Hope on a beautifully wooded property with all the amenities you could want. From the kitchen, baths, pool, hot-tub, game room..etc, everything was there for our needs. The home is very comfortable and feels like a family home vs. a hotel. We enjoyed the pool in the very hot, humid weather. All the beds were comfortable and perfectly arranged for our family of grown up children and their significant others. Communication with the owners, check in and departure were all super easy and helpful.Some things to note; the home is older with all the things you would see in a 1950's with 70's addition - things that are a little run down or need maintenance. It is a family home and we found all the art, books and things charming - but maybe not for everyone. The linens, beds and upholstery were all well-used and worn - but comfortable. Lastly, the home is on a mountain with a steep and narrow drive - lots of parking at the top, but the driveway is a little intimidating if you're not used to that sort of thing.

The Mountain House was very clean. It is in a very isolated location with a very long one lane driveway. We could see how renting this property in warmer weather would be ideal. New Hope has plenty to occupy you as well as many outdoor activities.

Mountain House stay

You are greeted by goats when you arrive. The house has many sitting areas, a pool table, hot tub, large fridge and great artwork. New Hope is an 8 min drive and super cute. Great stay

New Year’s Getaway

Our family had a wonderful New Hope getaway at the Mountain House. We played board games in front of the fireplace, played pool in the game room, enjoyed home cooked meals, and visited the town and Peddler’s Village. Thank you, David, for the hospitality!
