The Canal house is a 2 bedroom 1 & 1/2 Bathroom, On The Delaware and Raritan Canal state park tow path, only a few block walk to Main Street Lambertville. You can enjoy the front porch swing bench and watch the people and ducks on the canal or the private fenced in back yard with an out door dining table. you can also enjoy the view of the canal from a private second floor screened in porch. We have made this Canal Builder’s 1850’s era home into a comfortable and fun place to enjoy while visiting the Lambertville and New Hope areas. This special place is close to everything, making it easy to plan your visit.

Such a charming space and true to the character of the time it was built. We loved it! And so convenient. We did not have a car and it was quite easy to walk to the places we wanted to explore in Lambertville and New Hope. And generally quick to get a ride share to places further away. And so peaceful and beautiful there on the canal. Elliot was very quick to respond to questions and very accommodating. We appreciated his hospitality. Highly recommend!

It’s a charming, comfortable house in a beautiful location. Great for biking up and down the canal on the Jersey side. Easy to get into Philadelphia or explore Bucks County from here. The host, Elliot, is very responsive and the home was well equipped.

The cottage was very sweet and comfortable. The dishwasher needed to be maintained and the stairs were tricky because of their steepness. Overall the cottage was perfect for us.

PERFECT location and bonus wildlife watch out the front door or from the second story balcony. Cozy and really convenient temperature control in every room. Kitchen has everything to make it possible to eat in. Some rentals have a ton of tasks to complete before check out - but the simple check out asks are super easy and didn't make me feel like my vacation was ending early! would stay here again absolutely!

This was our second stay here amd we loved it jist as much as the first time. Eliot is very responsive and the house is very clean and comfortable. We hope to be back again sometime.

The Lambertville Canal House has truly become my home away from home. I've stayed here many times over the years, and every visit reminds me why I keep coming back. The house is always spotless, beautifully maintained, and so comfortable—it immediately puts me at ease.One of the things I love most is how peaceful and safe the neighborhood feels. It's the perfect place to relax and unwind. Having convenient parking is such a bonus, and once you arrive, you can easily walk to all of Lambertville's wonderful restaurants, unique shops, and attractions without worrying about your car.The combination of a warm, welcoming home, an unbeatable location, and exceptional cleanliness makes every stay a pleasure. Thank you for consistently providing such a wonderful place to stay. I always look forward to my next visit and highly recommend the Lambertville Canal House to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable getaway.

Have stayed multiple times and during every season. This was our first winter stay, and while we missed the use of screened in porch, and back patio, the convenience of location, and serenity of canal path were appreciated. House was cozy and comfortable during the cold temperatures, and we had all the amenities we needed.

What a charming, quaint rustic house. And they thought of everything… from coffee and creamers to every toiletrie you can think of. Even hair dryer, kids shampoo… you name it. Great communication.. great host !!! Will be back for sure!

A great visit

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Elliott’s home along the canal. It was clean, well-stocked, peaceful, and very comfortable. We have stayed at a few different spots in the area and this was our favorite. We would certainly come back again.

Great Stay

Stayed to help celebrate with friends and family in New Hope. Very close to many great shops and it even snowed during our visit. House was very comfortable.

Charming house in a great location

An older and charming home with ample spacss to relax. Spotless kitchen and bathrroms. Beautiful towpath along the canal right out front brings you to town amenities easily.
