Erin was super attentive and responsive for any questions we had. The house is absolutely wonderful for families with kids, clean and with a very well stocked kitchen, even some games to play. It’s also about 10 minutes from the Sunnapee mountain resort. We very much enjoyed our stay.

We took our family skiing for a few days, and this home was the perfect place to stay. It’s close to the mountain, offers great views, and has plenty of character. The host was fantastic—warm, welcoming, and communicative. We had a great experience and already plan to return next year.

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful and comfortable home. Our family of young children and friends felt right at home. There are plenty of places to sit and hang out together. We appreciated that the property was pet friendly. We would love to stay again!

lovely vacation and work away location

beautiful location with lots of nice snowshoeing and hiking nearby; good internet if you need to work as well

Wonderful stay

The house was beautiful and clean. We had 4 adults and 3 children and never felt like we were on top of each other or out of space. Really enjoyed coffee on the deck every morning.

Great time!

House was very comfortable and had everything we needed. Appreciate that for sure. Very spacious and clean. Liked privacy of area but close to skiing. Our family had a great time.

Lovely. private, and peaceful

We spent our Christmas week here and had a fabulous time. The location is private and serene, yet close to skiing at Mt. Sunapee. The fireplace and the AGA kept it nice and toasty! The AGA stove was so much fun to use - don’t be intimidated! Overall a lovely place to stay and Erin was such a great help and communicator!

Cozy and warm even during a cold snap!

There were five of us up for a ski trip and family reunion. It was very cold, so we spent most of our time I. Front of the fireplace or in the kitchen by the AGA stove

Exceeded our Expectations!

This home was perfect for our Christmas getaway. It exceeded our expectations in every category; very spacious, clean, well stocked and beautifully decorated. The separation and privacy of the bedrooms worked well for our family. Erin was welcoming and accommodating from the start. We would highly recommend this beautiful getaway!

Wonderful, felt like home

From the first moment we walked into this beautiful home, we felt a sense of joy and happiness the homeowners instilled. From the amazing kitchen to the multiple sitting areas to the spa-like showers, we had the most enjoyable Christmas and ski vacation. We didn’t want to leave.

Family Ski Weekend

Our stay was perfect. The accommodations were exactly as described. We did love the open kitchen/living room area and the unique stove. The mountain views from the house are beautiful. We are looking forward to returning to Sunapee to ski next year and will definitely reach out to Erin. Debbie Hayden

Great place!!

This was a great place for a long family ski weekend!! Very clean! Lots of space! Kitchen has everything you will need and then some. Close to Mount Sunapee. The house is very private and quiet. Homeowner communications were outstanding. Would definitely rent from them again!

Wonderful stay in Newport.

What a wonderful property. It was just like the pictures in the VRBO ad. The views are spectacular, the location is secluded and private, and it's close to everything we wanted to visit; the Lake, shopping, recreation. Our puppy enjoyed the wide, open field for running and exploring. The beds were comfortable and everything we needed was supplied. We look forward to coming back. And Erin was very accommodating.

Ski weekend

Our weekend with the family was fabulous, house is just as listed and plenty of room for all 9 of us to spread out. The gas fireplace in the family room was a cozy place to warm up after a day on the mountain. Place was very clean and we enjoyed experimenting with the Aga stove. We even got some fresh snow for sleigh riding on the back hill. Would definitely recommend a stay in Newport!

A beautiful time on the hill!

Wow what a beautiful home! The layout and bedrooms worked out very well for our group. Everything was clean and welcoming. The environment was homey and just right and the view from the deck and cupola room were beautiful sights to see every day! We also enjoyed cooking in the kitchen - the AGA stove was intimidating at first, I'll admit, but we quickly fell in love! The host was communicative and cared about our experience. Overall, we loved our time here.

Great Home!

This house was wonderful, and the owner Erin, a dream to work with. We have an almost 4 year old grandson, who was delighted with all the toys and games available. We enjoyed the beautiful setting, inside and out. The only complaint was that the house is a bit more remote than we thought, but that was on us, NOT the house. There is a Shaw's close by where you can get everything you need to make great meals. All in all, a fantastic vacation spot!

Perfect winter getaway

The home is beautiful and cozy. We really enjoyed the amenities, and the sizing and spacing were perfect for our family. Lots of toys and movies and music etc. in addition to the great sledding hill made this an ideal Christmas for all of us. Erin and her father were excellent hosts and responded immediately to any and all of our queries. A truly lovely home. We would love to come back some time! Homer P.

Beautiful and comfortable home

This is such a beautiful and welcoming home! We were traveling with my adult daughters and husbands to attend a funeral in New London and had to book last minute. Erin was so helpful and quick to respond when we could not connect to the wifi. The property is beautiful with gorgeous views of the mountains off the deck. Very quiet but close enough to town for groceries and coffee shops. Such a clean and comfortable home. Would definitely stay again.

Secluded in woods but near town

Home was warm and cozy, just like the photos on line. Erin’s home was so well equipped, especially in the kitchen. Don’t be intimidated by the AGA stove...we did our entire Thanksgiving dinner in it and it comes with cookbook/instructions. Loved the gas fireplace! The location of the house allows quiet time and great sleeping! Plenty of books, videos, etc., to keep everyone happy. Gorgeous views! Would not hesitate to rent again.

A Great Place to Be for Vacation

The Barns at Page Hill Road is an amazing place. Flexible and ample sleeping space, an open kitchen, two (you might say three) indoor living rooms, various locations for quiet reading and a great AGA stove. The views are fantastic, and Claremont, Newport and Lake Sunapee are all only minutes away. Claremont is also a regional "market town" with Home Depot, Market Basket, Walmart, Runners, etc. The best part is that our host was helpful, always ready to provide support and easy to communicate with. I'll give her six stars! Charlie

Above and beyond all expectations!

My wife and I planned a Thanksgiving stay in New Hampshire to see her family and enjoy the Holiday away from Arizona. We were impressed with the pictures of the Serenity VRBO and booked a 8 night stay. So very glad we did! The check in process was smooth, the country setting and home was above and beyond are grandest hopes and the AGA oven was fun and easy to learn. The host Erin responded instantly to my only need, which turned out to be just a wall switch we must have bumped. The beds were very comfortable, the house nice and warm and the countryside setting was storybook. Cannot say enough about this wonderful home and stay and we have already booked our next trip back!! Thank you Erin for the stay and memories with more to come!

Awesome getaway!

A family weekend that was perfect for everyone. Me, my husband, our sons (25 & 30) and their girlfriends and our daughter (28) and her husband all had plenty of room to spread out. And of course our kids' dogs too! All 11 of us had a great time. The area was beautiful and relaxing. Rode the chair lift to the top of Mount Sunapee, went for a hike, visited Polyculture Brewing, had lunch at The Anchorage in Sunapee and dinner/trivia at the Salt hill Pub in Newport. A great time was had by all. Erin was so accommodating and easy to deal with. Oh and I can't forget the gorgeous views from every window. The piano was a bonus too - my husband enjoyed playing it. We would highly recommend this property.
