A Very Sweet Retreat: The S Fork River is flowing. You can see, hear & touch it!
You will enjoy yourselves in this spacious 2 story home with mountain views in the friendly neighborhood of Cherokee Oaks. We are only one mile from Lake Kaweah and you will find it is a lovely drive thru our town and along the Kaweah River to the Sequoia/Kings Canyon National Park entrance. Included is the South Fork River that flows behind the house. The rivers and streams flow because of all the rain and snow melt we have each winter in the Mountains that house the giant Sequoias. Don’t miss out.
This home away from home has a spacious fully equipped kitchen and all new appliances including custom kitchen cabinets and a beautiful granite topped island for those who really enjoy cooking. The back patio houses a BBQ for enthusiasts as an option to the stove. Table too.
There is a built-in entertainment center beneath a gorgeous wood and wrought iron staircase which takes you to the balcony area where you can sit and relax and look over the railing to the living room below. There are two spacious master suites, one upstairs and one down. A laundry room is also available.
The upstairs master bedroom opens to an expansive deck that is great place to sit back and gaze out over views of the surrounding mountains. Seasonally you can enjoy the sound of the South Fork River and the stars are out in masses on a clear dark night. The large downstairs second bedroom with patio access is also very nice and comfortable. The third bedroom is off the master bedroom, smaller but suitable for children or a couple, we have two air mattress for extra guest upon request, three bathrooms, everyone has plenty of room to get ready for a day or evening of activities.
When the rain has arrived in the fall and the South Fork River is flowing we see/hear the river's mighty flow. The sound of the river will delight you while enjoying time on either of the patios. Think Rain!

The home offered great views of wildlife from the huge patios and the bubbling creek gave a wonderful space for relaxation. Awesome communication from the owner and the home was clean and had great open space. Overall wonderful stay.

Great one-night stay at Cherokee Oaks! The house was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. Easy check-in and a peaceful atmosphere. Would definitely stay again.

Beautiful large house with everything you need. On the south end of Three Rivers. We cooked every night and everything was there, spices, oil etc. Air conditioning works very well, whisper quiet. Great hosts!

The house was wonderful and the riverside view was beautiful. The only complaint was a broken refrigerator but the host was quick to respond with coolers to help us through our stay. We understand that sometimes unfortunate events happen and no one is at fault. The hosts were very responsive to our needs during our stay.

This property was lovely with a large kitchen for us to cook in and eat breakfast and dinner together and a great place for the dog we brought. The living room was a nice place to hang out and watch movies after a day in the park and it was nice to have a bed for each of us.

This is a beautiful location and home. We enjoyed our stay and would come again. Housekeeping is not the best, and hope that they improve.The host was very helpful and responded quickly to our needs.

Overall great stay outside of Sequoia and Kings Canyon. Large house, was perfect for our group of 8. Plenty of kitchen space as well made cooking very easy. The house came stocked with a lot of things you don’t always see in rental houses, making our stay more convenient. The biggest drawback was the cleanliness. The house was really not the cleanest. There were cobwebs in every single room, in just about every corner and under a lot of the furniture. The carpets and rugs didn’t seem to be vacuumed very well, and my wife even stepped on a shard of glass when we came in. Apparently the people before us broke a glass and there was still a piece of glass in the kitchen floor. Overall, good stay, location was convenient and easy to find, communication with the host was smooth, and house had everything we needed, just wish it was cleaner.

River in the back yard you are in nature 15 min to sequoia national park perfect for day hiking and coming back to a comfortable home to relax . Home is spacious and comfortable.

Wonderful Stay!
We loved our time at this beautiful property! The hosts were communicative and made sure we had everything we needed. The home was well equipped and comfortable. We loved coming back here after a long day of hiking at the Sequoias! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The property was very clean and the beds were comfortable. We expected a bit more amenities for the price. For example, they did have coffee available but no sugar or sweeteners. They did have shampoo and hand soap available, but no bath soap. The backyard was impressive, but they could have cleaned off the leaves off chairs. While the property is very nice, it is a bit dated. Overall it was nice, but based on other reviews I read, it seems that the owners are not on top of the property as they once were.

The pictures make you think this place is the best VRBO you'll ever comes across. It will be.
Esther and Linda were super prompt anytime we had a question. There's a river right outside the home. Yes, a river. The inside of the home is amazing. They have plenty of beds and the entire home is completely modern. The bathrooms have decked out showers and the living room is super spacious for hanging out. In the morning, we made coffee and just sat outside taking in the river. Sequoia is really close by. If I ever come to Sequoia again with a group, this is where I'm staying.

So glad we stayed here. Six adults had plenty of room to be comfortable. This was a great location and the home was well stocked. The large kitchen and TV/family room were perfect.

The home was lovely, and so close to Sequoia National Park. It was the perfect resting point after long days in the park. We had a few minor issues, but the host was quick to respond and resolve. I would recommend staying here. I just wish our stay was longer.

Our family of six stayed at this amazing home. Wow is how I would describe the whole stay. Beautifully decorated and a nice view of the small river out the back doors. Awesome balcony and patio!! Home is very spacious with a huge living room so all family can sit together. Communication was great and check in was simple. I give this home five stars and would stay there again. Clean and well stocked. Awesome stay for sure!!

This home is an unusual visual experience. Hi ceilings and overlooking balconies with an upstairs outside deck. We are located close to the Kaweah River Lake where you can swim and rent boats. It is a pleasant close drive to the entrance to the Sequoia National Park as well as the center of Three Rivers for easy shopping and eating experiences.

We have a fully equipped kitchen for all cooking needs. There is a large parking lot for off road parking. The river roars seasonally out off the backyard and that is a wonderful sound enhancing the mountain experience with decks to enjoy the outdoors and beautiful mountain views.
