Five bedroom family gathering place with water's edge boathouse, nestled in the quiet town of Britt on the serene Sand Lake. This property has everything you could want for a week with your family and friends.

Enjoy all that Northern Minnesota has to offer in a unique house designed to host multi-families or large groups.
3000 sq. ft house, 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, Large Sauna, plus a 220 sq. ft. boathouse.
All set on Sand Lake, an 800 acre lake ten minutes north of Virginia MN (3.5 hrs from Twin Cities, 1.5 hrs from Duluth).
Huge back deck with beautiful 3 seasons porch.
Master suite with large windows overlooking the lake and fully remodeled bathroom.

The owners of this house have four children of their own so everything is kid friendly. Unload the minivan and enjoy a week of northland relaxation. The fully remodeled kitchen is furnished with things you might need like a kitchen aid mixer for chocolate chip cookies and crockpots and even an instapot for your dinner needs. Put food in the instapot and then head down to the beach for a day's worth of relaxation and fun with your friends or family.

This home has many fresh, modern updates. Lower level has wall-to-wall custom tile and main floor has brand new luxury vinyl flooring, and two of the three bathrooms are fully remodeled.
This property is a lovey place to watch your kids splash in the sun, run through the yard, explore the nearby forests and enjoy a true northern MN lake experience! We are excited for you to dive into your relaxing week on Sand Lake. It is exactly what you're looking for in a northland getaway.

Amazing

It was a wonderful weekend and a great fit for our family of 11. We very much enjoyed having beach access and allowing our dogs to be there as well. I have no complaints about the experience. The host was very accommodating and gracious. Thanks again The Miller family

Beautiful lakefront location

My family of seven (2 couples and 1 teenager) had an amazing week at this property. We brought a boat and a side by side and spent the week fishing and exploring the area. The house is stocked with anything you could need and had more than enough room for us. The sunroom was our favorite spot, especially when it rained. Jared recommended the Britt Lounge and Boomtown for restaurants and they were both great. We drove over to Two Harbors for a day and Hibbing another day. Both are beautiful spots with great history to learn about. Definitely recommend this house and this area for an amazing getaway.

Wonderful Place for All Ages

We had a wonderful stay at Jarod's place with our family. This was our fourth summer going to a rental cabin on a lake with family ( 2 grandparents, 4 parents and 4 children) and this was our favorite place so far! Spacious home with spaces to gather or have your own space. The kitchen and living area was perfect for cooking and watching the olympics. Large deck with screen porch overlooking the back yard and lake. The backyard was large enough to recreate our own family olympics. The Lake had some weedy spots, but was good for swimming with sandy beach, and easily accessible for all the kiddos, adults and grandparents! It was July hot while we were there, so it took some work to distribute the cool air from the micro-split in the living area to the bedrooms, which stayed warm. That's probably not an issue 51 weeks of the year. We will definitely look to come back!

Great family fun time

This lake place has a bit of everything and was awesome for our group. Huge dining room. Awesome kitchen and sun room on porch. Lower level master was nice, sauna a plus, and a big lower level rec room. Some beds could have been better, and kitchen utensil cleanliness was something we dealt with. 3 docks were nice and lakeside room was spacious and enjoyed. Overall we loved our stay, it was a great setting where we made some great memories!

Family Getaway

The property fit our large family of 11 comfortably. The lily pad and water toys that were included with the rental were a huge hit. The location and how the house was situated in relation to the water was perfect. It would have been nice to have a little more cupboard space and freezer space for our food.

Damned pleasant place to stay for a large group.

We had a lovely time, we had 4 adults and 5 kids. We enjoyed the private lake access and all the water toys - paddleboard, canoe, kayak, and paddleboat. The kids loved trying them all out in a low-key setting. We made fires and ate s'mores almost every day. The family room and dining room were great hang-out places, and we enjoyed the view eating on the deck. There was plenty of wood for fires and the boats were in good shape. There was a gas station not too far away where we could pick up some supplies as needed, and Jared was very responsive over text to any questions that came up while we were there. We also appreciated having access to the laundry room. It was all around a great stay.

Summer Lake Home

We had a great time and loved the lake property. Was super private and 200 feet of lake front was. great. My favorite was spending time at the bunk house and sleeping there most of the time. We had more space than 6 people could use but we tried. Could have brought our 4 grandkids and their parents too! Jared was super attentive to our needs. Thanks Jared for sharing your place with us!

Got us out of a huge bind!

We needed a place to put up six people for work in northeast Minnesota in July on pretty short notice, and this house worked out great! The owner is really friendly and helpful. If you are looking for an immaculate place with zero quirks, stay in a hotel. But if you are looking for a really cool place to stay in St. Louis County, I'd highly recommend this one.
