A large dining room to enjoy your meal prepared in the fully equipped kitchen with appliances (fridge, stove and 30-inch dishwasher), small electrical appliances (double coffee maker, toaster, food processor and slow cooker), cookware and cooking utensils. kitchenware, cutlery and glasses. Sumptuous individual and comfortable bedrooms with, for the most part, a complete adjoining bathroom with shower and bath. Spacious apartment in great location

We stayed at RD in July with our two young kids. The building is 125 years old and located across from the river. Our view was of the water, and we could see the cruise ships arrive every morning. The location was convenient—just a five-minute walk from most places. We were on the fourth floor in the Chinic apartment, which has two bedrooms and two bathrooms. It was spacious but could’ve been a little cleaner (e.g., the freezer and microwave had crumbs, found a strand of hair and dust in one of the bathroom drawers). We appreciated having the washer and dryer. There was a rooftop terrace. You have to call the hotel 30 minutes before you arrive to check in. I’d stay here again.

Anniversary trip

This property was in a fabulous location. Close to everything we were interested in seeing. Loved the rooftop patio. So helpful to have the elevator with one of our group members in a wheelchair. Would recommend and stay again.

Dyson For Dalhousie?

Overall experience was really nice and the location, host, and communication was excellent. Plenty of room for two couples and guests. Only thing that would have ticked all the boxes for us would have been better vacuuming of the rugs. Otherwise a nice stay.

Magical Getaway

The Royal Dalhouse room we stayed in was Penthouse Le chinic. You walk in to a breathtaking view of floor to ceiling window's of the river. The apartment is so spacious and has all the amenties you need to make yourself at home. Very clean! We brought all our own food and aluminum trays to heat up our food. Only thing missing was aluminum foil. But they had plenty of coffee, spices, dishes, glasses, silverware, pots, crockpot to use. Parking lot was adjacent to the apartment. They have an elevator. It is off the busy streets, but walk just 2 small blocks and you are in the heart of the lower quarters. It was decorated for the holidays and had a magical look to the town. Very close to the lift to take you to the upper section. Penthouse Le chinic is the perfect place to stay in old quebec. Easy checkin, we were greeted by a very nice gentleman who got us up to our place, showed us around and gave a few suggestions of things to do. We were 4 adults and each had our own private room and bathrooms, bonus was a washer and dryer. I suggest you shop for snacks and food before arriving. There is nothing walkable to pick up neccessities, milk, juice etc. But plenty of restaurants, cafes and pubs just around the corner. Can't wait to go back.

Excellent location

The property was absolutely beautiful and extremely clean. The furnishings were comfortable and overall the unit was very well appointed. The location was perfect for walking around all of old Quebec. Walk out your door and you are in the heart of this beautiful place! The views were stunning from the floor to ceiling windows and the rooftop deck was a bonus! Also there is ample parking in a private parking lot for guests only. Lastly the hosts were extremely friendly, helpful and kind! They were waiting for us when we arrived and answered all questions. I would highly recommend staying in this condo without hesitation!

Perfect!

A wonderful loft space. Pics are accurate and true. We loved the convenience of the location and I don't think I will ever forget the beautiful view from our window!! Pierre was a charming and very helpful host and when we return to Quebec City we will always stay at Royal Dalhousie!!

Spectacular location with stunning views

If we could rate this a 6 star we would. The place was spacious and clean. Great layout with the full set of floor to ceiling windows overlooking the river. Checkin was very personal - with Pierre meeting us and providing a tour of the condo plus the rooftop patio. The location allowed us to park our cars and walk everywhere which was so convenient. And Quebec is awesome. We highly recommend this spectacular place! We are certain we will be back!

Absolutely loved our stay!

Not only are the hosts kind and very easy to communicate with, but the property is STUNNING! We felt like we were in complete luxury with the view of the river, the spaciousness of the apartment, and the walkable location. Everything was so smooth from beginning to end. If we come back to Quebec City, we will undoubtedly book this apartment again. We LOVED it and highly recommend it to other families and travelers. Their on-site parking is also super easy. You can't get a better location for walking to attractions and restaurants in Old Town or Petit-Champlain. I cannot recommend this place enough - it was truly perfect.

Best location and place!!

One of the most magnificent properties we have stayed in anywhere. Couldn’t be happier! Large beautiful space, right at the river. The view is not in the pictures but coffee watching the ships pass in the mornings was a treat! The patio at night gives you a glimpse of lighted Quebec. Wonderful hosts. Can’t wait to come back!

Lovely apartment overlooking the water

The check in process went smoothly. Owners Pierre and Greg were very kind and gave us a tour of the property and accommodations, which were wonderful. We enjoyed the view of the St Lawrence Seaway and location within walking distance of many shops and restaurants within Old Town. Parking on site was a plus. The apartment was spacious and well furnished. Private rooftop deck was a lovely additional benefit. Highly recommend!!

Amazing view!

You will be blown away by the beautiful view. Spacious living room. Location is so convenient that you can walk to all the important sites/ restaurants. Check-in and check-out very easy. Parking is also very convenient since it’s located next to the condo. You will not be disappointed

Awesome Spot in Awesome Location

Our family of six, including four kids (13, 10, 8, 6) really enjoyed our stay here. It was a great location in Lower Town, awesome view overlooking the river, super close to some of the most picturesque parts of Quebec City. Hosts (Liliane and Pierre) were amazing - super helpful with recommendations on things to do and where to eat. A bit of an uphill hike when heading to the upper part of QC, but a great home base for our first visit to QC; we'll definitely be back to this apartment.

Absolutely amazing!

This place is off the charts! We had a glorious view of the Lawrence River all week and it was extremely comfortable-all the comforts of home. The hosts were so friendly and helpful. Very good at recommendations and they also offer discounts at specific restaurants if you flash your discount card they give you upon arrival. We ran into them the first night (at one of the many restaurants they recommended) so we all sat together and had a great time. If I lived in Quebec Lillian would be a "go to" girlfriend for sure. They offered to give us a ride one night to our dinner-also recommending the place. They introduced us to the owner and we were spoiled with extra goodies because of their relationship. The food was so amazing that I am afraid we over ate :)) and decided to walk back. When we go back to Quebec we will be sure to stay here again. If not in this unit at least in one of the other units Pierre has. You simply can't go wrong with their hospitality!

The Royal Dalhousie is located in the heart of Place Royale. It is from this location that Samuel de Champlain constructed the first habitation; a farm and a shed. The location was named after Louis XIV and is one of the last remaining relics of 17th & 18th century buildings in North America.

All eight condos in the Royal Dalhousie offer breathtaking views of a park overlooking the St. Lawrence River, seen through 8-foot high windows. They also all have high ceilings, hardwood floors and exposed ceiling beams, which accentuate the rich history of these newly renovated condos.
