Steps away from fly fishing on N Platte, boat launch and Hobo Hot Springs. Hot Springs are free open 24/7. Saratoga Lake is only 2 miles away. It is a perfect haven for outdoor fun and retreat. Why an exceptional rating?

We do not understand why everyone has given this house an Exceptional rating. It was serviceable. The interior was clean and it is close to the hot springs but that isn’t enough for such a high rating. We arrived to a front yard with flower pots of dead flowers and weeds. When we went in, we noticed the screen door was about 2 inches above the door threshold so we did not leave the door open at any time due to the exposure to the outside. There are no screens on the living room windows so you have to slide up the lower part of the window, insert an expandable screen in just the right place, then lower the window onto it. To close the window, you reverse the process. The bathroom was small and there was no countertop space to put toiletries. The shower is tiny. A large person would hit the sides while bathing. The wooden outside deck was a bit spongy in places. The table and chairs were so dirty I had to clean them before we could use them. Rain had spattered dirt off the deck onto the siding many times and there were slight traces of mold. The wifi was spotty. The first day we were there it took minutes to open anything and since we were there on business, that was a problem. I tried again the second day and the speed was better. We have stayed in VRBOs from Naples, FL, to Homer, AK, to Rome and this house was definitely not exceptional.

Snowy Range home base

This house is a very good place to stay for a visit to the Snowy Range. Saratoga is a fun little town and the North Platte River is beautiful and flows right behind the house. I will return there in the future.

Enjoyed our stay at this property, great if you have dogs!

This cottage is small but clean and sweet. 2 comfy beds and a nice, big fenced yard for the dogs. 1 block from the hot springs that was sadly closed due to flooding. Very reasonably priced. Close to restaurants. I would definitely come back.

Perfect vacation!

This property was pretty much everything we were looking for. Loved that we could walk down the road to the Hot Springs in our robe, which I did twice a day every day! Fenced yard was perfect for our small dog. Kitchen was bright and spacious and well stocked with nice pots and pans. Our teenager used one of the bedrooms and our 11 yo enjoyed the cute single pull-out sofa in the living room. (P.S. Couldn't find a sheet to use for that so we used a blanket we had along). The cottage was a lot cuter and brighter than the pictures show. The recliners got alot of use. We will definitely stay here again. The only thing that would have improved our experience is a washer dryer in the unit, but we managed without. Maybe a drying rack to set up for the towels would have been a great addition since we couldn't wash and dry our towels. Absolutley loved it!!!

Quaint Little House

The house was just as described. We loved the location to the hot springs and to the town. We were disappointed with the beds. Very uncomfortable. We also would like to see a full size couch in the cozy living room. I was bummed about having to purchase the insurance, that was a first for us.

Saratoga vacay

The property was just as listed. Very close to all you need to do in Saratoga. Very close to hot springs. The fenced yard was great for our dogs and much appreciated. Check in was simple. We had a lovely time and would recommend to all.

Great location:)

We absolutely loved our stay in Saratoga and will be back. The proximity to the river, the hot springs, the laundry mat and downtown…all within walking distance. The dogs loved the huge fenced in backyard. We also appreciated the fans.

Over all this was a nice cottage for two hunters from out of state.

This is a nice roomy cottage. It had all that my hunting buddy and I needed. Two items that does need to be noted. The bath room is entirely to small for a grown man that is 6'-2". The smallest shower I have ever seen. Hardly enough room around the sink to lay your tooth brush. The great room has a love seat where a full couch would be better served and the TV only had Netflix to watch. I would have liked some local news and weather and some sports options like ESPN.

Saratoga Hot Springs Cabin

We found this cabin to be one of our favorite places that we stayed on our recent camping trip. We were gone a month and went to many hot springs and found this jewel of a cabin to be the best! It was clean and had all the amenities that we needed included deer in the back yard and bunnies to entertain us in the yard. We highly recomment it!

Exceptional location, nice enough place

This little house had a lot of potential. Here are the pros: 5 minute walk to the adorable, clean and lovely free hot springs Easy walk into town River runs behind the house and made for a lovely place to sit and eat/drink Big kitchen 2 bedrooms, so my friend and I had our own spaces Way, way, way more comfortable than the tiny overpriced hot springs hotel would have been. Cons: The kitchen was not well equipped. If you want to cook there you probably need to bring everything you need. The living room area was big but furnished in a way that was completely uncomfortable. There were only two of us and not adequate furniture for us to both sit and look at each other and be comfortable. Very strange furnishings! The bathroom is super tiny and there's nowhere to put your stuff No air conditioning, though we were there in hot weather and the fans did an adequate job keeping us comfortable Decor is very outdated and made the perfectly lovely little home feel much less lovely than it could have been Overall I would stay here again if needed because it was a good value for the size and location.

Relaxed get away

Just the right location for us, nice deck to sit in the shade. You can walk if you like to hot springs, restaurants in town. Would be nice for more comfortable seating in the living room.

Great time

My friend flew in from California for a brief weekend visit while I was home from Istanbul. This house was a great place for us to stay up all night catching up and laughing. The backyard and porch were great for laying out in the sun and you can’t get any closer to the hot springs. We especially loved watching the wildlife (the deer family and bunny family) out the windows during our stay. Thanks so much for a great place!
