Our River Cottage with suite is a stone throw from world class fly fishing in a blue ribbon trout river, boat launch and Hobo Hot Springs. Hot springs are free and open 24/7. Easy access to the river from the back yard.
Saratoga Lake is only 2 miles away. It is perfect for outdoor fun and retreat.
Located four blocks from downtown. Walking distance to shops & restaurants.
Our place is ideal for couples, solo adventurers, and families. Not suitable for pets.

Another great stay at this house!

This is our second year at this house. It is a great property to stay at. Clean, comfortable, great location, responsive and friendly host, this house has it all.

Winter getaway

Cross country ski trails within thirty minutes…..free public hot springs less than five minute walk…..shops and restaurants walking distance also.

Relaxing in comfortable environment

The decor added to the charm and I took photos and sent to my daughter how charming the cottage was. We walked everywhere, the river, the hot springs, downtown, church and enjoyed the quiet surroundings.

Good location for a cottage stay

We stayed at the cottage for two nights. There were 6 of us, and although it isn’t the most private stay, everyone was comfortable. I will say it was very hot, and there is no AC. There were two box fans, but they really need two more. Luckily we had brought one along. The owner didn’t send us the entry code prior to us arriving, so luckily she answered the phone when I called. The location is within walking distance to the 24 hour, free hot springs and the river. It’s also very walkable to downtown.

River Cottage

The house is a cute house that is in a great location. Walls are thin and no bathroom fans make for a loud steamy bathroom. I shoveled the walk and had to text and call to get the door code. I would stay here again but probably wouldn't recommend it for people that may not extremely comfortable around each other.

Great place for snowmobile base camp!

We had a group of guys in town for four days to snowmobile in the mountains. This house was perfect for us. Very clean, comfortable, walking distance to the hot springs, close to restaurants, it was perfect. We will be wanting to stay here again on our next trip out. Highly recommended by our entire group.

Excellent experience

This place worked well for three long-time friends. The house is unique and well appointed. I appreciated it being within a short walking distance to the hot springs, but also a very pleasant walk to places downtown. No complaints whatsoever.

Great location, relaxing and clean

2 bedroom, 2 bath. Very clean. Nice cottage. It also has two sitting areas. Comfortable beds. Everything was spotless and no bugs. It is downtown Saratoga and a block walk to the hot springs. We did a fishing trip and were able to walk behind the cottage to the river, maybe 1/2 block. Caught more fish there than floating the river the day before. We will be back.

Easy check-in. House very clean. Had most essential items. Microwave a little funky.

overall very positive. Would stay there again. Did not use grill, but is was not in the best shape and very dirty.

Saratoga Delight

Our stay was so delightful we didn't want to leave. The cottage was perfect in every way. Yes, there are uneven floors in a couple of places, but I grew up in a historic home -- these are the nuances of an early 1900's bungalow. This house is bright and cozy at the same time. As a seasoned VRBO vacationer, things I look for to make our stay stellar are good linens and mattresses, a clean house, and a decent kitchen. This house delivered in every way! As a plus, we got to meet Antoinette, the owner which was a real bonus for us. As for Saratoga, it is the best kept secret in Wyoming...let's keep it that way!

Wonderful place in a great location.

A sweet comfortable little house. Had all we needed for our stay. Easy to walk to the Hobo, river or downtown. The owner is gracious and accommodating. We will look forward to staying there again. Cheers Jen

Cute two bedroom cottage with big yard

Very nice, clean and roomy house! Loved sitting out on the patio and we were able to walk to the hot springs a block away! We also walked over the bridge to a park on an island surrounded by the river. My husband caught two trout!

Well located cute little cabin!!!

This is an older but, updated and well maintained little house. It is set up like a duplex with a common door between the units, which seemed a little funky at first, but was really great for privacy once we got use to it. We stayed with our two teen aged daughters, but it would also be great for two couples.

Great time for the Great American Eclipse.

Overall very nice. An awkward step or two inside but we would stay here again. Good beds, nice sitting areas, and more than adequate kitchen.

Perfect. Cool place everything you need. Beautiful & unique. Excellent location short walk to town & hot springs excelkant back porch & grill saw two bucks & a doe in yard just perfect in every way. Would abdolutely recommend to friends & family!!

Should not say "On the River", it is not!

It says this place is "on the river". That is false advertising. It is Near the River. Down the block. Place was very clean, it was nice, it had these steps down to different rooms that we were not notified of and walked in and almost fell and stubbed toes another time. Was told by the owner she would "make up one of the Day beds " and got there and it wasnt and no extra linen at all to make up ourselves. (We could have brought some if we knew) A good location near the hot spring, A grill but no matches, there were some big ants at night in the hall way but they didn't bite. Really, it would have been fine but to advertise as "on the River" is not OK and was a disappointment.

Not What We Expected

House is not "on the North Platte river" and is not "next to Hobo Hot Springs" even though the ad stated that both were "right outside your back door." The river is about a 1/2 mile away. The pool and hot tub are in public area a couple blocks away. While the house was clean and comfortable inside, the windows were so filthy they were opaque. Patio furniture was covered in sticky substance and patio itself was filthy. Not a place you want to eat. Bed was comfortable but as we were removing bedding before we left (per owners instructions) we found a bedbug. We had to quarantine our belongings when we returned home until they could be treated. The owner denied there were bedbugs since she cleans the linen after every stay. Since cleaning the linen won't kill the bugs or their eggs - which are typically found in crevices of the mattress - we encourage renters to confirm that the cottage has been treated before booking. We rented the house as a place "on the river" where we could relax for a couple days and that was pet friendly, allowing us to bring our two small dogs (with an extra deposit.) Our two maltese dogs travel with us frequently and are well housebroken and too small to cause damage. The owner later complained that we had our dogs, saying she didn't really want to allow pets and would be changing her ad in the future to prohibit them. Even though we were meticulous about leaving the house clean, the owner still hasn't refunded the damage deposit or pet deposit two weeks later. Overall, we wouldn't recommend this property.

Cute house, great location

The house is near the local hot springs/river, within walking distance. Actually the town is so small that everything is within walking distance, which is great. Cute house, great for small groups. Two bedrooms, two baths, plus couches and day beds. Sleeps 6 just fine. The owner was communicative and friendly. The entire experience was good.
