Great location

Amazing location. Our condo was a little dated but you can't beat the location, the private beach. It would've been nice to know that extra toilet paper, paper towels and trash bags didn't come in the unit. It was an extra trip to Walmart.

Yearly visitors

“Dated” is a nice term to give to this unit. It’s desperately in need of a makeover or at the very least paint. The elevator makes knocking noises, no chance to sleep in. The lighting is very dim. The floors were dingy & the base boards have black lines instead of chalking. Definitely will not stay in this unit again. Frankly, it’s well below what I expected for Sterling Shores. There’s a for sale sign on the refrigerator. Maybe the next owners will fix it up. Beach didn’t disappoint. The ice machine was broken in the garage. The tv remotes barely worked. We will explore other condos for next year. For the cost of this unit, there are comparable all inclusive Bahamas trips on the internet.

Feedback on unit 806 at Sterling Shores

The location of the resort is perfect. The pools are perfect and the green grounds are pretty and lush. This unit however is outdated. The mattresses on the beds are very uncomfortable and appeared dirty with flimsy linens. The kitchen was not well equipped. No oven mitts, limited glassware and plates. The kitchen seemed dirty and run down. Great balcony with a beautiful view and the best blackout shades in the room. Both of the rooms were on the front of the unit so no beach view. Will plan to stay at Sterling Shores but in a different unit.

Review

The condo was great. Nice things close to the condo. I didn't care for the fact the condo had no direct beach access. Trying to take beach stuff and two kids across the street to the beach not fun.

Good enough

This property is nothing special but it meets all minimum requirements for a good beach vacation. Condo could be cleaner, beds could be more comfortable, more amenities such as towel service would be nice.

Great View!

Location was perfect! Super nice view of ocean and pool. Not as clean as I would have liked (food splatters of side of fridge, mold on shower curtain, and walls needed washed) also they don’t leave you with a broom only a mop. Overall good experience!

its a bit outdated...from the lockbox entry to kitchen appliances and bunk bed/TV size. It was a smaller than I expected. The Rooms were very small.

Nice Condo

The condo had plenty of room for five family members, including a four year old. The floors needed to be mopped and my grandson's feet were black within minutes after our arrival. Other than the floors the room was clean and we had a pleasant stay. It is very convenient to the beach and anything you could need.

Don’t rent until owner updates

When we checked in we found out it was the only unit with actual keys (and only 2 keys!) not a key pad lock. The unit was clean but out dated and poorly stocked. In particular the appliances were very old and we had to call maintenance for the dishwasher and the dryer made so much noise we could only run it when we were not in the unit and it took multiple cycles to dry clothes and towels. The bed in the guest room was very uncomfortable with very thin mattresses. It was like sleeping on a wire frame! The elevators were frequently out of order and when they were working they were incredibly slow. On a good note the grounds were clean and the location was convenient.

I really like the property overall but was disappointed in our specific condo

We have stayed at Sterling Shores twice before and had a great experience. This time was not as good. Our unit was outdated. The furniture was very cheap and one of the chairs in the main room was actually torn. The kitchen cabinets and drawers had some kind of wrap-around facing on them that was coming off. The bunk beds were very wobbly and their mattresses were very thin and uncomfortable. The pull out couch was so uncomfortable that nobody could sleep on it. The king bed in the master bedroom was very nice. The washer and dryer were old. The washer was ok but the dryer was so loud that we could only run it when we weren't there. It also left black marks on our clothing. Also 2 of the three elevators were out of service for the greater part of the week and we were on the 8th floor! If we rent here again, we will definitely choose a unit that is owned by an individual. It was nice to have the beach chairs and umbrella included. Veronica at the front desk was one of the nicest things about our stay.
