Tranquil Creek is a short walk to Chesterman's beach, a great place to stand-up paddle, surf the summer swell or explore marine ecosystems at Frank Island. Or if calm waters are your preference, launch your canoe, kayak or paddleboard straight from the backyard.

Fantastic house!

The area is spectacular and the house is a wonderful place for a quiet family vacation. The backyard is on an inlet which is great for wildlife viewing but only accessible for paddleboarding a couple of times a day at high tide.

Perfect Stay

From the moment we walked in, we knew this was a special place. Everything about the stay was perfect. We didn’t realize laundry soap, dish soap, shampoo and body wash were all provided, so don’t buy extra if you’re heading here. Loved seeing the black bear across the inlet daily. Can’t recommend the house highly enough.

I must say this was one of our best rental ever! The house was a show stopper with the view, architectural style and the peaceful surrounding. Very clean and well maintained house. We also enjoyed the close proximity to Tofino. We will be back for sure. Richard L.

Couldn’t ask for more!

My husband, children and I adored our time at Tranquil Creek. The home beautifully frames the landscape that surrounds it, and we felt grateful daily to have had this access. Rooms are well appointed and we made good use of both the sauna and the deck; we would be thrilled to be able to return here.

Quiet spacious home

Beautiful, clean, well equipped home with a spectacular view of the inlet. An easy walk to Chesterman Beach, close to town and relaxing to sit on the outside decks. Great for a getaway with family and/or friends.

Wonderful property and location

Would 1000% stay here again. Just rent beach cruisers and you can ride to the beach or town or along the bike path anywhere you want. Watch the tides come in and out and rent a SUP to paddle around behind the house during high tides. Great house and host - could also just spend all of your time enjoying the views from the living room or back deck!

This place is amazing. With all the windows we could sit and enjoy all the glorious green of the rain forest from anywhere in the house. My entire family loved it. Close to beach. Honestly, five stars seems insufficient! Thank you again.

Stunning, incredible stay

Top-notch stay. This was easily one of the nicest stays I have ever had, and the hosts were friendly, accommodating, and outstanding. From the house we saw ospreys fishing in the bay, a black bear in the yard, enjoyed excellent proximity to both beaches and great walks. Nothing but praise for this incredible property and hosts!

Perfect spot to unwind....

My husband and I decided to stay here to celebrate our 30th Wedding Anniversary together. It was the perfect spot to do so! The place had everything we needed, and we loved being surrounded around nature no matter what part of the house we are in. It was magical.

Family Retreat

We are hard to impress and this property exceeded our expectations. The location, views and home were absolutely perfect down to the tasteful art on the walls and the extras (Yoga mats, firewood, locally made chocolate and coffee all included). It was the perfect hub for our family with three young children to call home for the week as we set off on hiking, surfing and biking adventures. The view of the inlet with the tide coming and going was so peaceful, the host was friendly and the property really felt like staying at a friends place. Cannot recommend enough! We'd also note its the perfect shoulder season spot because of the wood fire and sauna if you do get some rainy days this is a home that can feel very cozy on a colder day.

Exceptional retreat location

The listing is pretty stunning and accurate. Space is open and good for a group. Sauna is a bonus and lots of variety for sitting areas outside. Kitchen is outfitted in a basic way. Location is an easy walk to the beach which was a great plus for long sunrise/sunset walks.

Stunning home and great location!!

We just finished a three night stay at this amazing home in tofino. The home is absolutely stunning and very clean and tidy. The host had all of the amenities and supplies that we could ask for. We had a fantastic stay and could not recommend it more!
