Luxury cottage, big terrace, marvelous view

The house is a fantastic 140 m² stone house, the ideal base for discovering the cultural beauties of Vicenza, Verona, Venice, Lake Garda or to recharge your batteries in complete privacy.

The house has a fully equipped kitchen for cooking, an entrance room with a elegant eating table, a living room with a comfortable bedsofa, 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
From 1 to 7 people can stay comfortable in the house.

The romantic private garden (completly fenced) and sunny terrace are an ideal place for relaxing, sunbathing or dining with friends.
The house is located on a hill surrounded by a medieval old village with a castle on top. From all the windows you can enjoy a wonderful view over vineyards, olive trees and the beautiful valleys.
Nearby, there are all the shops you need to make your stay perfect. We recommend our favorite restaurants, small factory sales and attractions in the area. Above the house, about 5 minutes away, is a beautiful oak forest for walking or mountain biking. There is also a very challenging golf course.

Vicenza and its surroundings are economically very active and dynamic. Combined with the old historic buildings, this gives a very nice blend of tradition and modernity. There are many very tasty restaurants, wineries and historic places. The main roads are also easily accessible: the motorway is only 5 minutes away. The train station is 8 km away. The property is located between Verona, Vicenza, Padua and Venice.

Beautiful place, Beautiful views!

We stayed here on the last leg of our 2 week Italian Honeymoon. It was so relaxing and just what we needed after the excitement of spending time in Venice and Florence! The view out the bedroom window blew me away every morning, and you can see the sunset from there in the evening! It was the perfect place to recharge before heading back to real life,

Beautiful house in a beautiful location

Located in a tiny hamlet on a plateau above the small town of Brendola, the house was very peaceful. The view from the terrace of the valley below and the Alps to the north was really nice. It was a bit chilly when we were there, but this would be a wonderful spot for dinner cooked on the provided grill, or for a drink. The location fit our needs very well, but if you like to be where the action is, and walk to nearby bars and shops, this is probably not the house for you. The house was very clean and well equipped, and the interiors were decorated in a crisp, modern style, exactly as shown in the pictures on the listing. One thing to be aware of is that some of the stairs had partial or no railings, so it might not be a good choice for people with mobility problems or small children. Sandra was very helpful, promptly answering our questions and offering advice about local places to visit. If we are ever in this area again, we would certainly stay here.

Unkomplizierte Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin, unkomplizierte Schlüsselübergabe, die Wohnung war im Winter sehr warm, toll eingerichtet, zum Kochen alles da, der Blick vom Schlafzimmerfenster ist überwältigend, nah bei Verona, Padua und Venedig, schnell in den Bergen, alles top!

Herrliche Lage, schönes Haus

Von A bis Z alles top! Die Kommunikation mit der Gastgeberin war super. Von Anfang an freundlich und bis zum letzten Tag immer erreichbar. Egal um was es sich handelte, Sie hat uns immer geantwortet und weitergeholfen. Das war sehr angenehm. Die Unterkunft ist wirklich hübsch - ein altes Haus mit schönen Details. Es mangelt an nichts. Die Aussicht ist wunderschön. Zudem war uns der private Parkplatz wichtig. Vielen Dank für die tolle Unterkunft und die gute Kommunikation. Wir werden es gerne weiterempfehlen!

Ausgangspunkt für wunderbare Ausflüge ins Umland

Wir verbrachten eine wunderbare Woche in Brendola. Von hier aus haben wir Ausflüge zu Palladio, Tiepolo und Julia unternommen. Einkaufen im Ort, kochen in einer hellen, großen Küche und eine große Terasse zum gemeinsamen Essen-wir haben die Abende und das Frühstück sehr genossen. herzlichen Dank für das feine Feriendomizil.

Tolles Haus und idealer Ausgangspunkt für Aktivitäten im Umland

Brendola ist zwar kein Urlaubsort aber, da zentral gelegen, hervorragend geeignet ruhige Urlaubstage mit Ausflügen in die nähere Umgebung zu verbinden. In unter einer Stunde Fahrzeit sind Venedig, Padua, Vincenza, Verona und auch der südliche Gardasee zu erreichen. Das Haus sicherlich einige hundert Jahre alte Haus ist liebevoll renoviert worden und versprüht einen umwerfenden Charme. Es ist alles vorhanden, was für einen erholsamen Urlaub nötig ist. Die Vermieterin ist ein Deutsche und kümmert sich intensiv um alle Anliegen ihrer Gäste. Wann immer eine Frage auftauchte konnten wir sicher sein, dass diese schnell und zu unserer vollsten Zufriedenheit beantwortet wurde. Wir haben den Urlaub sehr genossen und können diese Domizil nur empfehlen.

We stayed in this lovely house , hosted by Sandra , to celebrate a special birthday . We could not have been more delighted with the house and with Sandra's friendly and helpful communication throughout the booking , the check in and our wonderful stay . A wonderful property , beautifully and imaginatively restored to capture the sunlight at all times of the day , totally relaxing and a sensorial treat . Brendola was a very friendly town and we felt at home immediately! Easy access to the Autostrada for Venice , Verona and beyond . We will return , hopefully often !

Great location and in an attractive village. Excellent property which meets all your needs.

The house is located in an attractive village with lovely views from the house and village square. The house is well equipped. Good quality furnishing with bright and airy rooms. Garden offers a relaxing outdoor space. The owner was very helpful upon arrival. Great place to visit Verona (a must), Vicenza and Padua. We took the train via Vicenza to Venice. Train fares cheap compared to uk. Nearness to motorways means you can travel further eg Mantua, Lake Garda, Ferrara. We also enjoyed Chioggia. There are local supermarkets and restaurants. Though you cannot park outside the house, you can park in the village square - which is a two minute walk - plus another nearby free car park.

Séjour Dolce Vita

Nous avons été charmés par cette jolie maison atypique sur plusieurs étages très bien équipée avec une vue imprenable et nous nous sommes tout de suite sentis chez nous. Malgré les températures de l'ordre de 40°C sur le début du séjour, la maison restait fraîche et la climatisation dans les chambres nous a permis de bien dormir. Il y a beaucoup de choses à visiter en Vénétie et toute la documentation était disponible pour organiser notre séjour. Sandra a été très accueillante et disponible. Nous gardons un excellent souvenir du gîte et de la région et le recommandons vivement. Carole et Olivier

Charming house on hilltop

Very attractively renovated house with great views over the countryside and lots of ambience. It is very well located for visiting Verona, Vicenza, Padua, Bassano del Grappa, Palladio villas and the Veneto region. The house is nicely furnished, spacious, clean, and well maintained. Sandra was very helpful throughout our stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our one week stay at this property and highly recommend it. Guests with mobility issues should be aware that the house is situated on several levels with lots of stairs.

Wunderwunderschönes Haus

Beschreibung und Fotos des Hauses haben für sehr hohe Erwartungen gesorgt. Das Schöne war, die Erwartungen wurden voll und ganz erfüllt. Das Haus ist bis ins kleinste Details stilvoll und mit sehr viel Liebe und guten Geschmack ausgestattet. Auch die Lage des Hauses ist sensationell, dieser grandiose Weitblick... Die Vermieterin hat für die Gäste umfangreiches Informationsmaterial gesammelt (Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Ausflugsziele, Sehenswürdigkeiten, Restauranttipps etc.). Wenn wir darüber hinaus eine Frage hatten oder etwas Bestimmtes suchten, hat sie mit bgroßem Engagement dafür gesorgt, dass unsere Wünsche erfüllt und Fragen beantwortet wurden. Wir bedanken uns sehr für die schöne Woche, die wir dort verbringen konnten.

Beautiful Stonehouse adjacent to the church square

This is a beautiful property! Spacious with beautiful views from every window. Both beds were very comfortable and the A/C in the bedrooms was a nice bonus. The patio enshrined with grape vines was a perfect oasis from the heat. The narrow, twisting road winding up to the church square could be challenging to a novice driver. No need for an alarm clock as the church bells ring from 7am - 10pm on the 1/2 hour. Excellent starting point to access to Vicenza, Nove, Bassano del Grappa, Lago di Garda, Venice, Verona, and Asiago.

A lovely place

A lovely house in the charming old part of the village of Brendola, just off the square on top of the hill. Beautifully furnished and decorated. Wonderful views. Very well equipped, clean and comfortable. A cosy little terrace and garden in the back, a well equipped kitchen, airconditioned bedrooms and an excellent bathroom. We enjoyed every minute of our two weeks' stay. The house is ideally situated for exploring Verona, Venice, Vicenza, Padua and Lake Garda. And don't forget Bassano del Grappa, a charming little town! The nearby golf course is a bonus. Very challenging! Trattoria Bau Sete, just around the corner, is the friendliest of places for lunch or dinner and one should not miss pizzeria Da Stecca, 5 minutes downhill. Other restaurants and supermarkets within a 10 minutes drive. Briefly: all one can wish for!

Excellent for day tripping around the Veneto

We had a wonderful stay in Brendola. Sandra’s property is exactly as advertised. Impeccably clean, quiet and very charming. Highly recommended for anyone who wishes to day-trip around the Venetto. It’s especially convenient to the A4 Autostrada (45 min to Venice; 50 minutes to Lago di Garda). Sandra’s kitchen garden (tomatoes, zucchini, herbs), her pergola loaded with wonderful grapes, the nearby discount designer outlets in Montecchio, evening drives through the Brecian hills and the Viale gastronomic grocery store in Brendola are all a must!

Schöner Urlaub in Brendola!

Das Ferienhaus liegt in einer kleinen Stadt, Supermärkte und Restaurants sind vorhanden. Das Haus selbst liegt wunderschön und der Ausblick ist einmalig. Auch bei der Einrichtung und Gestaltung des Hauses gab es nichts auszusetzen, wir fühlten uns sehr wohl und waren mit dem Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis absolut zufrieden. Wenn man Ausflüge nach Venedig, Verona, zum Gardasee (,...) machen möchte, ist man hier genau richtig, da das Haus zentral liegt und man somit keine weiten Autostrecken in Kauf nehmen muss. Also alles in allem: absolut empfehlenswert, Daumen hoch! Wir kommen bei nächster Gelegenheit gerne wieder!

Great property in an excellent location.

The property was extremely comfortable - a "home from home" - very relaxing and well equipped. The local restaurant (yards away) was very friendly and great value. The location of the stone house couldn't be better - lovely and peaceful (apart from when the church bells were ringing - but that just added to the character) with great views and yet it was only a few minutes drive away from 2 local supermarkets, a petrol station and the autostrada for Venice, Verona etc. Sandra was very helpful and we would definitely recommend adults staying here for exploring the Veneto area.

We fall directly in love with this house. We have restored it lovingly to the smallest detail for 2 years. Now it has so many windows. Old stone walls stand in contrast to the open space who give the house lightness and luminosity.
