This is a 2100 sq ft split level home with a four season room overlooking beautiful Lake Onalaska in Onalaska, WI. This vacation rental has 3 bedrooms, 2 queen beds, single bunk beds, 2 queen hideabeds, 2 full hideabeds, full futon, a fireplace, AC\Heating, bonfire pit, TV's, Wi-Fi, and a large kitchen. In the lower level, there is a kitchenette, laundry room, bath/shower, board games/darts. Both kitchens are fully furnished with every day kitchenware. Bedding and towels included. Schafer's Boat rental is 2 doors down.

Perfect location

This is a great house with so much living space. The kitchen has everything you might need or just go to the nearby restaurants. Boat launch and bait store were right next door. Scott and Lisa are super hosts.

Fishing trip.

Location to the water and docking facilities were excellent. Easy out on the water to access fishing areas. The house was stocked with so many things we wanted for nothing. Would definitely recommend it for anyone. Also, parking was easy and close to the front door. Also helped that there is a bait shop next-door.

Hunting Trip

A grouo of 6 of us stayed here for our annual turkey hunting trip. We usually stayed in cabins at the local campground, but decided to look for a VRBO rental this year. Beyond glad that we found this place. Location, house amenities, and hosts were great. Hosts were very responsive and timely to several inquiries we had leading up to the trip. Several goodies were also there to greet us upon arrival. Will definetly be staying again in the future.

Onalaska fishing trip with friends

Just a great and well thought out place to stay. Details of any vacation trip always helps make these things a success... Enough beds/bedrooms for a large group... well decorated... small firepit.... enough space to stretch out... close to restaurants, very close to public boat launch, etc.. i could go on, but you get the idea... well done Corto's Ona-Lakehouse Rental and thank you. Ona Lake House

We are very happy with our stay at the lake house. Loved the neighborhood, friendly and our dogs had a great time too. I definitely would like to visit again.

Not our original plan...

We came for some ice fishing on Lake Onalaska, but Mother Nature had other ideas this year. No Ice!! Great location and plenty of options for activities both at the home and around the area. This isn't our first stay here and, I'm sure, won't be our last!

Well equipped kitchen, plenty of room, nice reunion home.

Great location. Family enjoyed the water with canoes, kayaks, and paddle boards. Kids fished off the dock. Friendly dogs nearby. Nice bait and equipment rental next door. House always clean and tidy, plenty of room to gather and dine. Kitchen with abundant dishes, cookware and bakeware. Nice patio areas. Beds comfortable. Owners keep property in great shape. Very hospitable hosts!

Don't want to leave

Love this area!!! Boat dock in the back yard, bait shop 2 doors down. And a great place to stay. I loved it. We held meetings with 11 people here and it had plenty of room for us all. We even had someone lock us out and the host was johnny on the spot to get us back in

Relaxing stay

Nice to have our boat there and fish. A scenic location and nice home. Appreciated being able to sit outside and read etc…..May come again down the road!

Exceeded Expectations

Lisa’s property exceeded my expectations. They were nice enough to be understanding that we would have guests in and out throughout the day to assist with preparation for a wedding. Her husband stopped by to see if we needed anything and the neighbors were great.

Would Stay Here Again

This was a super cute place to stay with plenty of room and activists available for the family. The owners were easy to communicate with and the neighbors were super friendly. Would definitely stay here again.

Great gathering space

Visiting for a few concerts in the area. Plenty of space for everyone to sleep and relax and great kitchen space/big kitchen table for meals, visiting, cards. Quiet neighborhood. Would stay here again.

Onalaska Ice Fishing

The location and convenience of this property was perfect. Just a short walk and we were on the ice. Plenty of space in the house and the arcade game was pretty cool. The only thing that was a little bit of a nuisance was there was alot of dog poop behind the house so you had to be careful not to track it in the house. We would definitely stay here again we had a blast.

Great place to spend time with family

Lisa was a great host! As a welcome to our stay, she left us chips and salsa to snack on. I mentioned that we would be hosting Thanksgiving dinner with my family and she made sure there were two folding tables and extra chairs available for us. The place was spacious and the teens loved the arcade. We would definitely come back.

It was a great place. It worked so well for us for our daughter's wedding.

Definitely would rent this house again if needed for a group of people. Everything was as it said it would be and a little snack was left for our arrival...so sweet!

Family weekend

Our family enjoyed the lakehouse very much. We played a lot of darts and rented a boat to get out on the beautiful, peaceful lake. The owners were great, and the house had all the comforts of home. We look forward to staying at the lakehouse again.
