This serene retreat features a covered deck, ideal for relaxing while taking in the peaceful surroundings. Inside, you'll find a full kitchen equipped with all the essentials, a comfortable Queen bedroom, and full bathroom. The cabin is furnished with towels, kitchen supplies, and modern conveniences including A/C, a smart TV, Wi-Fi, and an electric fireplace to enhance your comfort.

Located in a quiet area, the cabin is just about a mile from Smith Park, where you can enjoy swimming, boating, and fishing. Explore nearby local wineries on Seneca Lake, craft breweries, and distilleries, all within 3-5 miles. Major attractions like the Watkins Glen International Raceway and Watkins Glen State Park are only a 20-minute drive, while Cornell University and Ithaca Colleges are 30 minutes away.

Adjacent to Butternut Camp is its sister property, Christine's Cabin, offering even more space for larger gatherings or extended family vacations.

Beautiful Spot

This adorable little cabin is in a nice quiet spot not too far from everything. One night we heard a screech owl!! We truly enjoyed our stay. So comfortable with everything you need. We would definitely stay again.

Great little cabin

The Butternut cabin was a great home base for us to explore the hiking and fishing that the Finger Lakes has to offer. It had everything we needed: A/C, comfy bed, coffee :). Recommend Watkins Glen if you like waterfalls. Have breakfast at Toni's Diner and dinner at Stonecat Cafe, you won't be disappointed!

Nice 3 day getaway to the FLKs

Loved our stay at the cabin. Nicely situated on the eastern shore of Seneca Lake near all of the good wineries. Hoping to go back up and stay at this cabin again!!

Great little house!

We loved staying in this little house. The neighborhood is peaceful and quiet, and it's super close to the main town and a ton of great wineries. We would definitely come back and stay again!

Great place to stay and get away!

Butternut Camp was just what we needed to get away! The place was very clean and had everything we needed. We would definitely stay there again. Sue and Henry are super nice and friendly. We really enjoyed our stay.

My family and I enjoyed our stay. Sue is very friendly and quickly responds. The location is perfect. It’s right off 414 in the middle of the wineries and situated on beautiful Seneca Lake.

Cute little cabin

Butternut Camp is a very cute little cabin with pretty much everything you need. Seneca lake is a 60 second walk and the wineries are right up the road. It's a great place to get away!

Butternut Camp was perfect for the two of us. It had all the amenities we needed. Loved sitting on the porch and enjoying the quiet. Easily accessible to the activities on Seneca Lake.

Hector on the Point

A cozy cottage with everything we needed to feel at home and relax! Very clean, nice fire pit, and good place to walk around. Very close to wineries and breweries! Sue and Henry are fantastic hosts - we will definitely come again!

Incredibly Relaxing and Beautiful

The cabin itself and the property was an oasis in itself. Amenities made us comfortable while enjoying the nature. Visited close by breweries and vineyards; hiked in Watkins Glen. Everything was a short drive and easily accessible. Would come again!

Cozy Retreat
