Escape to the tranquil beauty of our Cozy Cabin on Seneca, perfectly nestled near Seneca Lake. This serene retreat features a covered deck, ideal for relaxing while taking in the peaceful surroundings. Inside, you'll find a full kitchen equipped with all the essentials, a comfortable Queen bedroom, and full bathroom. The cabin is furnished with towels, kitchen supplies, and modern conveniences including A/C, a smart TV, Wi-Fi, and an electric fireplace to enhance your comfort.

Located in a quiet area, the cabin is just about a mile from Smith Park, where you can enjoy swimming, boating, and fishing. Explore nearby local wineries on Seneca Lake, craft breweries, and distilleries, all within 3-5 miles. Major attractions like the Watkins Glen International Raceway and Watkins Glen State Park are only a 20-minute drive, while Cornell University and Ithaca Colleges are 30 minutes away.

Adjacent to Butternut Camp is its sister property, Christine's Cabin, offering even more space for larger gatherings or extended family vacations.

Very nice little cabin. We appreciated how easy it was to get around the area, it seemed like we were in the middle of everywhere we wanted to go but also tucked away from the main traffic. Cabin was perfect.

If you are looking to be able to cook on your trip. Susan and Henry have everything you'll need within the kitchens cabinets. From the relaxing breeze from the lake to the soft lighting within the cabin itself. The small details were thought of carefully. Surreen and blissfully calm is exactly what we were looking for and Susan and Henerys cabin fulfilled us. Thank you for such a wonderful place to make memories.

Very clean and cozy. Beautiful setting with pleasant porch and small view of the lake. Fluffy towels. Good temperature control. About 15 min from Downtown Watkins Glen and convenient to Ithaca and Corning. TV had lots of apps we could use.

Great small cabin for couples to stay and check out all the nearby wineries. Seneca lake is just a stones throw away with a boat launch just a short 3-5 min drive away as well.

Having grown up in the area, Butternut Camp was the perfect spot to anchor from while visiting family and friends.As a solo traveler, I felt completely at ease. The tidy camp stocked everything needed to be comfortable. Communication with the host was excellent.Thank you for such a warm welcome home!

The stay here was everything it was advertised. The cabin was clean, comfortable and simply beautiful. The owners were very friendly and accommodating. We had no problems whatsoever. If I were ever to find myself in this area again, I would certainly deal with these hosts again. Check it out! You won’t regret it.

The "Butternut Camp" was exactly as advertised. It was very cozy and exactly what we needed for a long weekend. The communications with our hosts Susan and Henry were excellent. We would definitely recommend this place.

Butternut Camp was the perfect cozy hideaway that offered us a quiet refuge in which to unwind, but was close enough to the village of Watkins Glen that we could easily partake of all that was on offer. There were several wineries within easy reach as well as craft breweries. Restaurants that catered to every taste could be found in town and along state route 414. The scenery was spectacular. The gorge in the state park is not to be missed. We found our stay relaxing as well as full of activities that we enjoyed.

The cabin was adorable and close to all the hiking we wanted to do in the area. Although I wish the cabin was a bit more secluded, we had everything we needed during our stay and would absolutely recommend it.
