If you looking to get away to a secluded cabin with many adventures to take with trails & scenery this is the place to be and admire the many vineyards especially in the foliage is superb! Our host Phyllis was very accommodating and so easily reached. I would consider returning one day but we like to search all areas in different states but who knows we may be back sooner than we think.

We had a great stay in this cozy cabin. The host, Phyllis couldn’t be more accommodating and responsive. She went out of her way to make our holiday enjoyable. The location is peaceful and quiet, but close to several wineries and other attractions in these spectacular Finger Lakes.

Great peaceful secluded cabin. Close to wineries/breweries. Very well supplied with everything we needed. Very dog friendly with room to roam and trails to take. Would love to stay again.

Our second visit to Grouse Haven was excellent, this pet friendly gem tucked into the woods continues to provide for a restful and relaxing base to enjoy the Finger Lakes from. Many beautiful updates!

The cabin is located within a beautifully secluded area, with the entrance drive providing an exciting anticipation of what lay ahead.The cabin is immaculate-clean and welcoming.Everything one would want/need had been provided.The living area is expansive-plenty of room throughout. The recliners needless to say were wonderful.We were impressed by ALL that we encountered, and encourage anyone to enjoy the woodsy retreat as much as we did!

We loved our stay at the cabin! It was remote and private but also only 20 minutes from downtown Penn Yan restaurants and grocery stores. We brought our dogs who loved all the new smells in the yard. The humans appreciated all the peace and quiet. The cabin was comfortable and had everything we needed.

A great place to relax and just enjoy nature. But also close enough to many other activities. The perfect cabin in just the perfect setting. Our stay was not only relaxing but also a great spot for our pup. She throughly enjoyed not only the relaxing deck but also the many places to walk. Phyllis made it so easy to check in and was a most gracious host.

Grouse Haven was the perfect spot for a family get away. We brought along our two dogs, and they enjoyed the freedom to explore and run without having to be on lead. The cabin was everything it said it would be. Complimentary syrup and a bottle of wine were a nice touch. There is so much to do, from wineries to hiking to time on the lake. We would certainly consider going back.
