Northern Adventures Hideaway is an alpine condo located on Moose Mountain. Condo unit 113A offers impressive views of Lutsen Mountain from the third floor and is ideally located to enjoy all that the North Shore of Lake Superior has to offer. Offering true ski-in ski-out accommodations, we are located right on Bridge Run. The ski runs go right past our deck.
The condo has a full, well-equipped kitchen to prepare your meals if you choose not to go out for dinner at one of the area's many fine restaurants. Moguls Grille and Taproom is on-site and offers full menu options for Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner, including a Kid's Menu. They also offer a full bar, including tap beers from local breweries. Take in a movie on our HD TV or head down to the heated indoor pool for a swim. The pool area also features a relaxing hot tub for parents while the kids play in the pool. The resort also has a fitness room available for guests to use if they want more exercise.
The unit comfortably accommodates 4 guests. Sleeping accommodations consist of a queen bed and bunk beds in the open upstairs loft area. The sofa in the living room pulls out to sleep two more guests bringing the total to six. Both the loft and the main floor offer full bathrooms with tub/shower combos.

Poor communication and door code never worked

Had to stay in the room with no working code for door the whole stay and no communication from new owners. Super hot upstairs even with AC on. But the location was beautiful.

Cozy Ski Weekend

The condo was great, with 2 twin beds, one queen(or full?), and a pull out couch bed. Theres no individual rooms, but it worked great foe the 5 of us. The kitchen while small was fully functional. The view is great and while small, the layout feels spacious enough for all 5 of us. Tv was huge! Only downside is that it gets a little warm in the loft, even though we lowered the temp, it stayed pretty warm. We did tons of skiing and the location was great cause we can just ski out! I recommend this to anyone looking to have a nice ski/snowboard getaway

Very nice

Well appointed love the location. However I dropped a coin on the floor and when I went to look for it under the bunk beds. It looked like it hadn’t been vacuumed in quite some time. Lots of dust bunnies and what looked like a piece of candy in the corner. Other than that everything was great.

Wonderful stay!

This is the third year that we have rented David’s condo in the fall and it is the absolute perfect spot for enjoying the North Shore. It is always spotless and the perfect size for a couple. The views from the deck are magnificent and the location is perfect. We hiked four different spots along the North Shore and coming back to the condo each evening and sitting by the fire made for a perfect getaway! We hope to come back again!

This was a great place to stay. It was clean, comfortable, though the kitchen is a bit cramped for more than one. The beds were comfortable, but if we you bring your kids along, you better be ready to sleep right by them, because the loft is tiny, and the beds are right next to each other. The shower was clean, but low water pressure and the water did not seem softened. Maybe that's out of the owner's control. The grill wasn't very close, as you would have to walk down to the ground level to use it, and it would be a pain to run back and forth to your kitchen if you forgot something, which I usually do. I just decided to not grill, and use the stove instead for that reason. This was a really nice place to stay, I'm just pointing out what I found during our stay. They were thoughtful for the additional items that were there for us, like games, cooking oil, salt, pepper, but they did forget the sugar( or honey), which I missed for my coffee, but it might have just been an oversight. They had a Keurig with coffee, tea, and hot chocolate pods. The also had a regular drip coffee pot, but no coffee for that one, so we just bought our own coffee and sugar the next day. It was pretty quiet, the walls must be pretty insulated, or we didn't have close neighbors, no noise from the hallway either. It was clean, but keep in mind that you have to clean up after yourselves, and wash all your dishes and put everything away and haul your own trash away, as it's a rental not a hotel.

Wonderful Vacation Stay

Loved our stay at this condo, exactly as described and then some. Kids loved the card games and hot chocolate and location to pool and fitness center was perfect. Beautiful views and finishing touches were perfect, had something for everyone, we would definitely stay again!

Wonderful location

Great centralized location, plenty to see. Place was very clean and well furnished. We had an issue with the lock and Dave was quick to respond. We’d stay here again! Perfect if you are a skier.

A true ski in/ski out!

This was our second year staying at this condo for spring skiing. It is the perfect location to access the slopes and stop in for a lunch break quickly. It is just the right size for our family of four with teens. Access to the pool and hot tub was ideal since it was right down the hall! The condo was clean and thoughtfully stocked with all of the amenities we needed. The property owners are very attentive and communicated quickly to ensure our stay was fully enjoyable. We will stay here again!

Excellent accommodations and location

Our family of four stayed for three nights and really enjoyed ourselves. The condo worked great for our family. We were able to make meals in the kitchen, swim in the pool/hot tub, and enjoy a couple days of skiing. The location on the slopes was better than we anticipated, truly a ski in ski out. The condo itself was well appointed with all the kitchen and bath supplies we needed. We are already planning our next trip!

Great New Year's Stay

We gathered as a family for a holiday celebration and rented multiple alpine condos to house us all. The units all had the same blueprint but this unit was by far the very best equipped with extras in storage options, items like a DVD player and DVD's, games, power outlets, well appointed kitchen, power shades, a table that could expand, extra comfortable folding chairs and more. The compact unit was clean, decorated nicely and used the spaces in the unit very well. The access to the Bridge Run is incredibly easy right next to the building and use of the assigned ski locker was helpful. The assigned parking spot is close and easy to access even with the abundance of snow that had fallen. The pool is accessible via hallways so no need to go outside to get there. Communication was always thorough and timely. We would definitely stay here again and hope to. We travel often and have to say this place is a true gem and so happy we found it.

Cozy condo with a beautiful view

Our family enjoyed a wonderful time at Lutsen while staying in this unit. David made sure we were all set before arrival and was quick to get back to me with any questions I had. And when we arrived the unit was just as it had been described… clean, cute, amazing view off the deck, comfy beds, and many other thoughtful touches. Would recommend it easily and would definitely come back. Thank you for a wonderful place for our family getaway!

Great stay on the hill!

We loved our time at Lutsen! I almost hate to give a great review and let everyone know about this condo. We were pleasantly surprised by the wood burning fire place, cozy living room and well appointed kitchen. We never ate out and were able to make all our meals at the condo. The loft sleeping area was just right and we were happy to find a second bath upstairs. Just perfect for a small family! It was decorated very comfortably and we loved the cozy blankets to cuddle up on the sofa while watching movies in the evening. We were able to ski out to the bridge run which took us to a bit easier runs. Our parking spot was nice and close, and reserved just for us, which was great. I was able to drive our family over to Uller (for the easiest runs) and drive back knowing our same spot would be available. We never used (or found) the ski lockers. Just kept everything in the car because it was so close. A Few downsides, you need to lug all your stuff up 3 flights of stairs (no elevator) but being on the top floor means you have no noise from neighbors. Which was a huge plus in our minds on a holiday weekend. The Patio door was so drafty that we had snow inside and put many towels rolled up to keep the draft down. It was chilly!! But we had several -30 degree days and high winds. (We snow shoed on those days on wooded trails and it was perfect... No wind,) Over all we found our stay to be VERY wonderful and we truly hope to be back next year!

Weekday Getaway

We thought the condo was cozy. The location was great for all of the state parks we wanted to go to. We enjoyed out stay. The pool is great as well.

We loved our stay at this beautiful condo. The view is just awesome!! Everything was exactly as stated. We really enjoyed the fireplace every night when it got chilly. We definitely hope to be back someday!

Cute cozy condo!

Absolutely loved our stay at 113 Northern Adventures Hideaway! Condo was extremely clean and so very cozy with an exceptional view of the fall colors on the mountainside in Lutsen. The location is perfect to get to many trails to hike and is only a short 20 min drive to Grand Marais for shopping and exploring. The owners were very friendly and communicated to us well before the trip. The condo was also very detailed in direction of how to use items and the information book was full of helpful things to make our trip easy. Also enjoyed going down to the pool/hot tub as well. We would 100% stay here again!

Charming condo

This is a very comfortable condo with wonderful appointments. My husband loved the little pack of Oreos offered, This condo is very clean and homey with a beautiful view out our balcony. A+

Great time in Lutsen

This rental was perfect for us. Only issue we had was intermittent internet service. Would stay here again if traveling in this area.

In the winter our condo truly is at the best location on Lutsen Mountain. We are in building A which is located right on Bridge Run. We really do offer ski-in-ski-out accommodations as you can walk out our door and be on the ski runs within seconds.

In the summer we are located very close to many of the area's top attractions. The North Shore boasts eight State Parks with recreational opportunities such as hiking, biking, and fishing.

We offer useful amenities that separate us from the rest. A few of the most popular are the stocked Keurig coffee machine and our 65" UHD curved screen TV. New for the 2021 season we have added a Dry Guy boot and glove dryer to ensure your ski equipment is ready for use.
