A lot of Confusion

We booked this resort many months ago because of our grandkids having access to the water park. When we booked we were able to book it for 7 nights and 8 days through a third party property manager on VRBO. Not quite two weeks before check-in we were notified that they could only confirm 4 nights and that we would need to find somewhere else to stay the additional 3 nights. When we booked we had to pay the entire balance at that time so needless to say I was not happy. Please note: The hotel was amazing and they bent over backwards trying to help us and told us to never book through a third party property manager in the future.We had to pay for another small room that was available that had a Murphy bed but at least we did not have to leave the resort. The property manager company did reimburse the three nights and taxes but not their portion of the resort fee…so I was good to at least get that back. This was a great resort and a lot of fun! If you can get on the condo side it is not as noisy because the hotel side has quite annoying. I totally recommend this resort

Spacious one-bedroom

We visited Sevierville for a weekend event at the convention center. The previous visit we stayed at the main lodge at the Wildnerness of the Smokies. The main lodge has invested heavily in their common areas which are great, but that lodge has very dated hotel rooms that are much in need of an upgrade. This visit we upgraded our room and stayed on the same campus, but in the Wyndam. Our one-bedroom with a pull-out couch in the Wyndam was spacious and clean with a great location right next to the waterpark, convention center, and golf club. This is exactly what we needed for our family of three. If you have more than 3 people, you could bring an air mattress and get by, but this property is likely best for 3 people or less. We did not use the kitchen, but it appeared to be capable for people in the room longer than we were.
