Quiet cabin located in the Douglas Lake Resort

This cabin sits on a dead end street with only 3 cabins on it. This makes for a very peaceful and quiet cabin location.

The cabin has room to sleep 4, it has 2 private bedrooms with bathrooms adjoining them, and the master has a private bathroom.
A hot tub sits on the deck. A gas grill is also located on the deck along with a high top table and chairs, rocking Chairs and a slider sofa. The cabin is equipped with WiFi internet. The owners have movies and games are available for guest to use. All bedding, towels and kitchen utensils and appliances are provided.

Exceptionally clean, everything was comfortable. Host was immediately responsive about a simple issue we had. We would definitely consider booking the cabin again. It was in a quiet area and the stay there was very pleasant.

The cabin was beautiful and well furnished. The hot tub and pool was great also. I would highly recommend the Cabin to anyone. Thank you Debbie for being a great host too. Thanks we had a wonderful vacation there.

Very peaceful property!! We enjoyed our stay very much! Very dog friendly! They have a dog bed in the living area which my dog enjoyed cause it was just like hers!

The cabin and the hot tub was fabulous. My only caution is that the listing gives you the impression that the cabin is on the lake and it is not.

Host was very friendly, we stayed there for our anniversary and it was very nice. Seen a lot of wildlife and you have plenty of privacy.

We enjoyed this cabin! The hot tub was perfect, the variety of furniture on the porch was great, the beds were comfy, and we appreciated that there was a washer/dryer to do clothes before we went home. We used the community pool and it was great! We did buy a shower mat bc it was slippery so that was our preference but not a need. We loved that YouTube tv was included. The trash was easy to take off (close by). There was lots of closet space. There was enough pots/pans to cook meals. As two couples, we appreciated that there were two full baths. We could definitely see coming back here!

This is my second time back at the doghouse. I took my boyfriend and our working German Shepherd, Firefly. The cabin really does feel like a home away from home and we had everything we needed. We loved the hot tub and the porch. It’s also in a perfect area for everything we wanted to do!

ProsLocation, quiet, great porch, enclosed for dogs. Kitchen had everything needed for fixing meals. Nicely decorated, comfy LR furniture. Dog bowls, crates were an awesome addition. ConsFront BR comfy mattress but couldn't sleep from lights outside. Back BR mattress hard as a rock but less light pollution, perfectly dark when porch string lights were unplugged. Both rooms need blackout shades or drapes. Picnic table in the tree/bush was useless.

We loved staying at the cabin. We got this one for the fireplace, hot tub, and dog friendly place. The place did not disappoint. The kitchen was big enough to cook in comfortably as well.

Steve and Debbie Tuthill are the owners of this cabin. We live in Chattanooga, TN. so it is a close drive to the smokey mountains. We had watched this resort for several years, when they went on the market, we knew it was where we wanted a cabin at. We love the location of this cabin on a dead end street with only 3 cabin. Great place for kids to play and room for our dogs to have fun. We love to bring our boat to the cabin and spend the weekend on Douglas Lake..
We would like to share our cabin with you and hope that you enjoy it as much as we do.
