Quiet cabin located in the Douglas Lake Resort

This cabin sits on a dead end street with only 3 cabins on it. This makes for a very peaceful and quiet cabin location.

The cabin has room to sleep 4, it has 2 private bedrooms with bathrooms adjoining them, and the master has a private bathroom.
A hot tub sits on the deck. A gas grill is also located on the deck along with a high top table and chairs, rocking Chairs and a slider sofa. The cabin is equipped with WiFi internet. The owners have movies and games are available for guest to use. All bedding, towels and kitchen utensils and appliances are provided.

This is my second time back at the doghouse. I took my boyfriend and our working German Shepherd, Firefly. The cabin really does feel like a home away from home and we had everything we needed. We loved the hot tub and the porch. It’s also in a perfect area for everything we wanted to do!

Us being handicap it was difficult to get to the cabin to carry everything up the stairs. The toilet n shower were not accessible for either of us.

Host was very friendly, we stayed there for our anniversary and it was very nice. Seen a lot of wildlife and you have plenty of privacy.

If you are looking for a remote, quiet and cozy cabin this is it. If you are looking for something close to the hustle and bustle of the area, look elsewhere. If you are afraid of heights and/or hate small, winding roads this is also not the place for you. Overall, it was great and about 30 mins from most of the activities Sevierville has to offer. Pictures were accurate and the host offers a stack of games for family friendly fun. Although we did not bring our pets, the cabin is definitely set up for pet comforts as well as human.

We loved staying at the cabin. We got this one for the fireplace, hot tub, and dog friendly place. The place did not disappoint. The kitchen was big enough to cook in comfortably as well.

We had a great experience with this Cabin! We were able to see lots of wildlife, and have a relaxing time. The only negative part was when we tried to use the kitchen the dishes/pans/coffee maker were left with old food/coffee so it was less than ideal. We will definitely be returning!

It was more than we expected. We absolutely loved being there. What we liked was that it wasn’t overcrowded with cabins like a lot of places that we looked at. It was a perfect layout for my mother with her age and health. It felt very comfortable, homey & cozy. We would love to be able to come back and stay again in the future.

Douglas Lake and Sevierville were great. Would like to visit again when we could spend time at the lake. Reasonable distance to Gatlinburg and the national park.

Nice cabin in a secluded location. Cabin was as advertised with adequate room and nice that it was pet friendly. Accessible to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Only negative was the hot tub was broken so we weren't able to use it at all on our trip.

I am tempted to leave a bad review to keep this amazing cabin to ourselves!! This cabin was absolutely wonderful!! Plenty of room, clean, and inviting! Debbie was wonderful to work with. It takes about 30 minutes to get to Pigeon Forge and almost an hour to Gatlinburg.

Steve and Debbie Tuthill are the owners of this cabin. We live in Chattanooga, TN. so it is a close drive to the smokey mountains. We had watched this resort for several years, when they went on the market, we knew it was where we wanted a cabin at. We love the location of this cabin on a dead end street with only 3 cabin. Great place for kids to play and room for our dogs to have fun. We love to bring our boat to the cabin and spend the weekend on Douglas Lake..
We would like to share our cabin with you and hope that you enjoy it as much as we do.
