The perfect family vacation spot

Denise and her husband went above and beyond to make sure our family Christmas trip was perfect. They treated us like family and were so helpful when our trip had any hiccups. The house is perfect for large groups, especially families with kids. The pool is beautiful and my kids were so excited to have a water slide in the backyard. My family and I will absolutely be coming back.

Family

The property was exactly what we needed, lots of space for everyone. We were pleasantly surprised with the fresh fruit & assortment of snacks the hosts provided. Location is great close to grocery stores, restaurants, & the beach. Disney land was about 40 minutes away, but an easy drive. We were a little disappointed that the water features in the pool & hot tub couldn’t run at the same time, and for our group all of the shower heads were extremely low.

Family stay

Dennise was very accommodating through some hiccups we had with amount of people. Stay was super fun and they kept in touch often. Pool was great!!! Ocean was close by and all was wonderful

Great Home!

We stayed here for 5 nights on our family vacation to Disneyland. We are a family of 16 and the house was perfect for us. The pool is amazing and we spent lots of time enjoying. The owner, Denise, was beyond helpful. She recommended great places to eat, sent us info about community events, etc. Highly recommend staying here.

Amazing pool

Fantastic pool. My kids and their significant others utilized the slide much more than I would have anticipated. Hot tub was also excellent. Owner/manager was very hands on, which was ideal. Minor issue, and she was right on top of it. For us, excellent location in Huntington Beach. Far enough to be away from hectic traffic yet close enough to get to downtown and PCH without any hassle. Would easily recommend to others.

Family Holiday Get Together!

Perfect place for us to have our yearly family reunion! Easily held our three families-ages 5 months through 12 years. Six adults and five kids. Heated pool and hot tub a plus! Great location and a very attentive hostess! Highly recommend this house!

Truly Amazing

Denise the home owner met us with individualized gifts from her company. she was over the top attentive to details and made each of us feel extremely welcome in her home. The Pool was the focus for the kids and did not disappoint. there was plenty of space inside and out to stretch out and relax and not be on top of each other. location was great. Close enough to the beach but not too close so you felt like an oaisis for relaxing. Definitely on our return list of homes. Thanks Denise for EVERYTHING!!!!! Margaret

Host is too involved- left the property during our stay to escape her.

My family and I were really looking forward to staying at this location. However, one week before the trip we are asked to sign a 7 page lease agreement and have all 8 of our adult party-located in various places across the US- sign the house rules. There was no indication that these rules were a part of the booking based on the house profile. We considered cancelling then and there but with only a week until our vacation we didn’t think we would be able to find anywhere else. The host Denise would blow up my phone daily. At one point to make sure we knew she had seen one family member scratch another family member’s car. We had already dealt with it prior but it was a good reminder to know she was always watching… My phone blowing up was usually about places to eat and visit. We even went to some of them and they turned out to be very mediocre. I finally had to mute her notifications because her texts were relentless. When we broke a couple of the rules, she was polite about reminding us about them which was fine, but I could never shake the feeling that she was always watching. It made it difficult to relax and we started getting out of the house whenever we could. The home was extremely clean which was nice and when the waterfall stopped working, her husband quickly came to fix it.

Family vacation

We had a the perfect vacation and Denise was a wonderful host. She made sure we knew all of the local spots for food and shopping and made sure we had everything we needed at the house. Very quick to respond to questions and extremely helpful. The house was perfect for the 3 families we had staying there. The pool was absolutely the best part and the kids didn’t leave it the entire time. Close enough for a short 15 min trip to Disney and closer than that for all of the beaches and restaurants you could ask for ! Would definitely stay again :)

Family Cali Getaway

Positives: We stayed a week and Denise is so helpful and kind. She sent many many activities and places to eat. She was very kind and offered to pick up a pizza when we got in very late from our flight in. The pool and hot tub were very fun for the kids so that alone was a big thing. The house was very clean! Close to the beach (about 5 min drive). Quiet and nice neighborhood. Beach stuff and pool toys there. (No Lifejackets) Negatives: The house is older which shows in the bathrooms and kitchen. There wasn't anything dishes or baking sheets to make use of the oven. The biggest eye opener is that pool/spa controls can be complicated and only one person is allowed to handle it. I got a couple of warnings about policy violations with doing things incorrectly like leaving the lights on and spa on at night or one time the filter pump shut off. So that was always stressful. I would think that most of the problems could be handled with timers or locks on the system rather than a potential violation trap for vacationers. It was almost more of a hassle than it was worth...worrying about doing the pool/spa things correctly or face violations. Overall: The house was very roomy and suited our needs very well. The kids swam in the pool/spa almost every day we were there and they loved it. I really enjoyed the location and Denise was really communicative. We enjoyed our stay.

Men's Tennis

This is our 4th visit to this property and it is always a special memory. Denise and Homa are wonderful hosts, always making us feel welcome and like family. Every detail is thought out for our comfort and possible need. I continue to give this property my highest reccomedation. THAN YOU!

Great house!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this house. The heated pool and hot tub were amazing, especially since it was winter. The kids were in the pool non-stop!! And the house is so close to the beach -- a great location. Denise was amazing and provided little extras to make our stay as comfortable as possible. We highly recommend this house!!

Great Cali spot

House was clean and well equipped. Pool was a blast for the whole family, especially the slide. Owners were very responsive to our needs and communicated often by providing us with recommendations (restaurants, local ocean spots, etc.). Close to Huntington Beach and central to lots of places.

Overall a good experience

Denise is an amazing person to work with! The house was immaculate and the pool is quite simply amazing!! There were plenty of towels and if there was anything we required she made sure it was at the door in a matter of minutes. I do believe this house is quite adequate for 10 people maximum. We wound up being nine and all of us felt more than 10 would make it a bit crowded. I know there is room to sleep 12 or 13 but it’s not something we would encourage. Of course this depends upon your family and their ages. The Huntington Beach area has much going for it. There are many wonderful beaches and restaurants within a 30 mile radius! The choices and variety are endless. Denise is a font of information on all things local! We very much enjoyed our stay.

Gorgeous place

We stayed here for a week, family of five plus grandparents/great aunt and had an amazing stay. The house it super fun, has tons of personality and the backyard pool is heavenly. My kids spent so much time back there, they had no interest in going to the beach. Denise is fantastic, very available and has lots of recommendations for things to do around Huntington Beach (which we didn’t end up doing because the house and yard were so fun. If you have the chance to stay here, please go for it. You won’t regret it!

Perfect venue

For our group that wanted to take the kids to see the beach and Disneyland and spend some quality time in the pool with a little BBQ this turned out to be the perfect venue. Lots of amenities. Clean and functional with a friendly owner living nearby who was very thoughtful and attentive. Keep in mind that this is in a normal neighborhood so you can't be too loud too late. If you have a laid back group that isn't rowdy, this is the perfect venue. The property does have some safety features (alarms) on the sliding doors out to the pool but keep in mind if you have little kids, you need to be extra vigilant any time a pool is involved!

Outstanding pool.

Excellent Family Gathering

We had a fantastic time. While the house is older with older baths and wiring, it has a great layout and the pool was the center of our attention. The location near the beach is also great.
