Lake Placid Lodge Deluxe 3 Bedroom Townhome Hosted by Whistler Ideal

Located in Whistler's Creekside village, steps from the gondola, this 3 bedroom and 2 bathroom townhome offers all the amenities for your Whistler vacation!
This coach house is situated on the outskirts of Lake Placid Lodge with open outdoor parking and access to all the Lake Placid building amenities including the outdoor pool and hot tubs, bike and ski room, and secured underground parking.

Enter into a spacious entranceway and up one set of stairs to the main floor. An open-concept living, dining, and kitchen area to your right with a fully upgraded bathroom and large deck. To the left of the stairs is the master bedroom with a king bed and a private ensuite bathroom with a stand-up shower. The washer/dryer unit is housed in the master bedroom. The top floor features two additional bedrooms one with a king-size bed that can be converted into two twins upon request and the third bedroom with a bunk bed (queen on bottom and single on top) plus an additional single bed.

LOCATION
The property is located in Whistler's Creekside Village approximately 10 minutes drive from the main Whistler Village. Located steps from the Creekside Gondola that access Whistler Mountain and the bike park in the summer. Creekside Village also boasts several restaurants and retail outlets including; Starbucks, Dusty's Bar and BBQ, a grocery store, a café, rental shops, and plenty more. Within walking distance to Nita and Alpha Lake nearby and gondola access to the bike park, this makes a perfect summer and winter location.

AGE REQUIREMENT
Guests must be 26 years of age and must provide a photo ID upon check-in unless prior approval has been granted. Families and children are welcome; parents and or guardians must accompany children. Whistler Ideal Accommodations retains the right to refuse access to any property if this condition has not been met, with no refund provided.

NO SUBLETTING
Absolutely no subletting of the property or individual rooms of the property for a period or the duration of your stay.

CHECK-IN INFORMATION
To ensure the safety of our guests and the property, all reservations go through a verification process. You will be asked to sign a rental agreement, provide a copy of your official government-issued ID, and provide a valid credit card for the security deposit of $1,000 CAD. The security deposit is a hold on your credit card 2 days prior to check-in.
We cannot provide access to the unit until this process is completed. Upon booking, you will receive an email with the next steps.

Excellent stay!

We had a wonderful time at this stay. It’s comfortable, super close to slopes/shops, and was stocked better than anticipated (soaps, shampoos, laundry detergent, towels, dish pods, paper towels, toilet paper, utensils & cooking equipment). Check-in was a breeze with the door code. We had a challenge finding the unit at first (probably because it was dark). The heated bathroom floors were a lovely surprise. The only “complaint” we had was that taking out the trash was inconvenient, but that’s on the complex, not this property. Overall, I absolutely recommend! We are so happy we stayed here

Condo was clean and comfortable. Had everything you need for a great stay. Short walk to one of the ski lifts. Exactly as advertised. Would definitely stay there again.

It was a great place to stay and comfortable for 2 families. We enjoyed the amenities and really close to the stores and trails. The only thing is we wished there were basic condiments to cook with. There is none. No salt, sugar, cooking oil, etc. Other than that it was beautiful all around !

Great Vacation!

We had 2 families of 4 with children ranging from 11-15 at this property. It was perfect. The condo was well-stocked with laundry and dishwasher detergent as well as paper towels, toilet paper, etc. It has a great entryway to store your ski gear. The location is great with quick access to the gondola, a grocery store right across the street & walking access to several food options. We were able to easily use the BC Transit bus to get into Whistler Village (purchase tickets at the Creekside Market), so no need for a rental car. My only complaint is communication with the property management company. I emailed during our stay asking for a late checkout & called b/c I saw an odd 'hold' charge on my credit card from them after checkout & in both cases I didn't receive a response. Other than that, everything was perfect! We would definitely stay again.

Skiers delight!

Great Location. The walk to the gondola was shorter than most walks from the ski parking lot at so many ski resorts. Creekside Village had all that we needed for our stay, and it was out of the fray of Whistler Village. The condo was spacious and well equipped. The common area hot tub was large and provided a great apre's ski social environment. The Managment company was responsive to our questions regarding access to the pool area.

Whistler Creekside stay

We stayed in a unit in the Lake Placid Lodge complex. It is very convenient to the Creekside gondola, and the property was exactly as advertised. We have stayed in several locations in the lodge and it is our favorite place in the Whistler area.

Wonderful place!

This is a great ski rental. It is a short walk across the street to rent skis or catch the gondola. The Creekside market and a number of great little restaurants are an easy walk away (I highly recommend Samurai Bowl Whistler, which is just steps away). As for the place itself, it looks just like the pictures in the listing. It is clean, spacious and the kitchen has all the pots, pans, plates, bowls and utensils that you could want. One note for future guests, rental regulations don't allow for condiments to be left in the apartment. So be prepared to bring/buy your own sugar, spices, etc. Luckily, with the Creekside market a short walk away, that isn't really an issue at all. Communication with the rental office was great. I called with a question and had no issues connecting with a human, which was quite a relief. If I am lucky enough to return to Whistler, I will definitely look forward to saying here again!

Awesome location, smooth stay!

The location of this place was excellent. Our 3 kids could easily walk to the creekside gondola in their ski boots from the place. It was less than 5 minutes to an awesome grocery store so we really didn’t need to bring any food with us. We loved having the pool and hot tub, one of the days it was a bit chilly for some reason but great all the others. It was a short drive and easy parking in Whistler village to go to the playground and shopping etc. creekside pizza was the best pizza we ever had and was also walkable from the place. The only slight down side was our kids really wanted to play in the snow outside and there was really just parking lots around and no green space. As far as the accommodation itself, it was very quiet, beds were comfortable, kitchen was stocked. We had our 4 kids, our 18yr old babysitter and 2 adults and we all fit in with lots of space. The top bunk in the kids room was quite wobbly, but ok for a young child. The blind in the living room were broken and it would have been nice if they opened. We would stay again, im just mentioning a few things that could be maintained. We had an awesome stay.

Excellent location and condo

Great large and very clean condo,,excellent beds, kitchen nicely stocked. Perfect location to gondola (4mn walk); convenient parking . bar, grocery close by. Great communication with manager. Would be great to be able to check in in Creekside rather than Whistler village. We will be back!

Great location for ski at Whistler.

The Creekside Gondola is a five-minute walk. The property is in good shape. The Townhouse was clean with all we needed to cook and clean. Be aware that the check-in process is very inconvenient. We arrived at the property at 9 pm with all our equipment using the airport shuttle. However, to get the access code to the unit, I need to take a taxi or public transportation. Another 15 minutes of driving (one way). I have been doing VRBO for the last seven years, but this is the first time that the property management made me take a taxi from the property to the management office to provide me access to the unit. This issue is inconvenient as you can't walk from the unit to the primary office. I spent an extra US$30 on taxis to access the unit. Also, I called the main office two days before our leaving date on seven occasions to check if they could provide me with a late checkout instead. They never confirmed if we could do the late checkout. They always told me they were checking with the property owner and would call me back. They never call. The rest was okay.

Great place for families

We traveled to Whistler with friends, all of us with young children. The house was the perfect base. Close to the lifts for switching off skiing. Close to town for taking kids to the little playground or for lunch. The bedrooms are all away from the living room which was great for noise reduction. Kitchen was very well stocked for all of our meals. And the property manager was very responsive to my questions ahead of our stay. Only complaint was the same as others, the check in process. You have to go to Whistler Village, at 4pm when the ski lifts are closed. The person checking us in did not know anything about the property or parking situation and then we got stuck in over an hour of traffic trying to get back to the house. But it was still worth it and I would stay here again.

Ski Week with the boys

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The highlights were the location to the ski lift, the external parking spot (close to the front door), and gas fireplace. I would defiantly rent this property again.

Great spot in creekside

Everything was as advertised or better. The hot tub and sauna shared by the complex were unfortunately super crowded, but certainly can’t blame anyone for that as it was frigid cold most of the week we stayed. Great shops and food within walking distance and quieter in a good way vs the main village. We would definitely stay here again.

Bel emplacement mais loin de l’agence pour récupérer clé ou code.Surtout du fait que pas de navette et nous n’avions pas d’auto. Il aurait été une bonne idée que l’agence ait un transport prévu ou tout simplement que nous puissions nous rendre directement au condo. Un code par couriel… Pour le dépôt de sécurité, vous aviez déjà mon no de carte donc cela aurait été facile pour nous. Pour l’accueil le jeune homme a été très gentil.

Awesome Creekside Location

Carriage house #18 is an excellent base to explore Creekside village and the Whistler Blackcomb resort. The rooms were all clean and the kitchen was well-stocked with everything you need to prepare meals in the condo. There was one small hiccup with the check-in process where they didn't have our reservation on file, but a call to the property manager quickly resolved it. It's probably because we booked last-minute. Overall, I'd highly recommend this property for up to 4 adults and 4 kids.
