Quiet spot, but close to village

Place was very clean, and we were able to get an early check-in. Pool was a bit crowded, but there are 3 hot tubs of varying temperature. The kitchen is small but functional (no oven), and for the first time ever using VRBO and similar, the kitchen knives were actually sharp! No complaints. Would stay there again.

Comfortable accommodations, Great location.

Our family loved our stay at this condo. Everything was comfortable, we used the stovetop everyday in the kitchen. Quiet, private section of the building. Walk-in, out from the slopes. The hot tubs were great after skiing. Aloha was easy to communicate with, and they were helpful with questions.

Wonderful Unit and location

My family of 6 adults totally enjoyed our time at this unit. Listing accurate. Living and dining room particularly comfortable and we were pleasantly surprised by how well equipped the kitchen was. Condo also an easy walk to the Whistler Village. Excellent communication with the property manager. Would definitely stay here again.

Great Location and convenient services on-site

I was pleasantly surprise to have the ski rental shop and ski valet all in house, location of this condo is fantastic, no car needed for a week, the condos themselves are not as luxurious a I was expecting and but functional. Aloha Whistler was most responsive.

Aloha Whistler were great hosts

Aloha Whistler went above and beyond to make our trip successful. The initial room we booked had a water issue. Within 15 minutes they provided two upgrade options as solutions. They were quick with responses and great at every step.

Wonderful trip

I recently took my 2 boys and 2 of their friends to Whistler for the August long weekend. The accommodations at the Aspens were perfect for us. Plenty of room for sleeping, eating and watching TV. We did bring our Xbox to watch Netflix and was happy the TV was compatible. The BBQ was also easy to use. The location was perfect, out door pool right there and a short walk to the upper village. The directions to the location were great and when I forgot the key code, after 9pm, Dulce called me back within 5 minutes to provide the code again. I would definitely recommend this location and Aloha Whistler.

Great location and spacious unit, would rent again

We've stayed in the Aspens many times and the location is about as good as you can get at Whistler. You literally ski to the property and can walk to the village. This is the first time we stayed in a three bedroom and it had a lot of room and much more storage than the two bedroom units. Two things to know about this unit - first there is not a full size oven, the microwave is a convection oven. We used it and it worked really well. Second, unless we just couldn't figure it out, there is no way to connect to streaming services on the TVs so bring a roku stick or something if you want to stream.

Aspens stay

Our stay at Aspens was good! It has a bit of an odd layout - you have to go through bedrooms to get to the patio for the Bbq. And The patio chairs are outdated. The beds are comfortable and good sheets/duvets. Stayed here for 5 nights in the summer. Some days were quite warm and windows. were a bit odd to open. but there are several fans, some work better than others. One hairdryer did not work for us. Access to the blackcomb village is a short walk down/up the slope- in the summer it worked out okay. Biking from here was easy too but a hard for kids to get back up. One wish would have been for more amenitites. We only had coffee for 2 mornings. Would have been nice to have coffee foe each morning. Coffee shop is a trek to get down and up the mountain. They did offer laundry soap which was a nice bonus. The kitchen is a bit small for more than 1 person. And it only has a convention oven the same size as a microwave.

Great location, unfortunate issues

The place is overall great - we really enjoyed the hot tub and the ski in ski out experience. It’s all very nice and walkable to the village and restaurants. Unfortunately as soon as we arrived in our first evening we found that one bathroom was unusable (toilet and shower were clogged). The situation took rather long to fix and we had to spend as a group of six 3 nights without one of the bathrooms - which we found uncomfortable and generated queues to shower after skiing. When we discovered the issue on the evening of our arrival, we tried to use the emergency phone number provided by the host in the email but it was disabled and only worked during business hours (despite being described as emergency 24/7). Not being able to reach the host until next day felt quite bad in terms of communication. I felt like a better due diligence and inspection could have been done to detect this issue before our arrival and resolve it more timely. The host was rather reactive and didn’t even proactively offer a discount for this issue or any kind of accommodation - eventually they negotiated to 20% of our nightly rate refund for 3 nights when we were impacted. One of the TVs wasn’t working either, but our group didn’t really care about this. Overall, I would stay again at this location/condo complex. I expect that this was a somewhat rare and unusual circumstance rather than a pattern.

We did have our maintenance attend to the clogged toilet the next day, unfortunately this had to be escalated to a plumber, in which we had to wait for their next availability. Regarding the emergency after hours lines, I can ensure it is operational and we have been receiving calls from other guests with no problems. I have just done a few tests myself. Apologies if you had any issues with this! I can also confirm the TV is now working, there was an issue with the Shaw Cable which a technician has now attended to. Do let us know next time you return to Whistler Gabriel, we would be happy to host you again and provide you your 10% returning guest discount.

We loved everything about our stay in Whistler! The host did a great job communicating with us and answered all of our questions promptly. The condo was well stocked and we had plenty of room for our family of five. We enjoyed the pool and hot tubs, and walked to Whistler Village every day. We would definitely stay here again!

Perfect location for a board/ski-focused visit. Quiet and peaceful location close to the village.

Great to be able to ski out and back in at end of day. Short walk down slope to upper village. Condo in great condition.

Whistler weekend

Enjoyed our stay. Kitchen well supplied. Beds comfortable. More comfortable chairs on balcony would be great as unit is not air conditioned and sitting outside would be nice.

Great Spot For A Ski Vacation

We booked The Aspens upon recommendation from a colleague, and could not have been more pleased. It is a true ski-in ski-out location on Blackomb Mountain. The staff was friendly and helpful and the facilities were great. The kids and adults enjoyed the spacious hot tubs after skiing. I traveled with my daughter and we brought my daughter's friend and her dad. The condo we stayed in was perfect for us with three bed rooms, including a bedroom with twin beds for the girls.. We cooked meals in and ate out - the condo was convenient for both, with groceries and restaurants just a short walk away. And the skiing was spectacular. Overall, a wonderful trip.
