If you want to escape from the lake and hit the trails, you can take street legal ATV's right from the property into Garden City Canyon. This dog-friendly home also includes a basketball shooting game, new appliances, and a private BBQ Grill.

The marina is a short 2.5-mile drive away, where you can rent boats and other watercraft, and the Beaver Mountain Ski Resort is just over 20 minutes from home.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The pet fee is per stay and ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. Decent place

Overall, the home was clean. There are a few areas that could use some attention. I was completely grossed out by the toilet cleaning brushes. They are NASTY! The clothes washing machine could use a good clean, it smells awful. We had to keep the door to the laundry room closed because the smell was so bad. This I realize is the responsibility of the folks that rent the home, but many dishes had to be cleaned before we could use them. ALL the pots and pans were dirty with food stuck on them as well as many of the utensils. I do think that updated pictures are needed for the property. From the photos posted on the Vrbo site, it appears that the property has a view of the lake, which it most definitely does not.

Comfortable and Clean

We enjoyed our stay at Shore Fun Cottage. It was clean, comfortable, and convenient. Garden City is a great place to visit, and this cottage is close to all that the town has to offer. Without question, we’d stay here again.

Cute lake house

Perfect location!!! So close to the best restaurants, we could even walk. Great neighborhood and very quiet at night. The house was exactly as listed.

Nice Bear Lake Cabin

Enjoyed our time in Bear Lake and this little cabin. It’s clean, matches the pictures, new appliances, walking distance (about 1.5 miles) to the restaurants in Garden City and the owner is responsive via text. Parking for 4 vehicles…but not really a deep parking spot to park a truck with a trailer or boat connected (have to disconnect to fit off the street). That was really the only negative…but easy to work around.

Perfect Bear Lake Rental

This place was perfect for the 4th of July weekend. Garden City's celebration was a short walk away and we watched the fireworks show from the front door. The house was clean and comfortable. Had everything we needed for a nice trip to Bear Lake. Highly recommend.

Cute Cottage

We loved our stay here. The cottage was very clean upon arrival. We loved the little basket full of towels and a sheet for our dog. The arcade in the 3rd bedroom was a hit with the kids. The beds were comfortable. The area is very quiet. There aren't as many winter activities in Garden City, but the cottage is easy access to downtown and the few restaurants that are open this time of year. It's a beautiful area and we would come back any time.

Great house in a great location

The Shore Fun cottage had everything we needed. It's in a quiet neighborhood in a super-central location. We were close to the main Garden City spots and could walk to the Heritage park in just minutes. If you're concerned with reviews that say the house isn't stocked well, know that has been addressed - the kitchen had pots, pans, appliances, flatware, cutlery... you name it. So thoughtful to have the pet supplies available as well. Would absolutely return.

Great weekend getaway

Very clean, conveniently located house. Close to restaurants and a short drive to the beach. Toiletries (shampoo, conditioner and soaps) were all provided. Kitchen had everything we needed to make breakfast too (dishes, cooking pans, coffee maker, waffle maker…). Thanks for a great weekend!

Great location, perfect size!

This is a perfect rental for up to 4 adults and up to 6 kids! We didn't have that many, but it would work! The bedrooms are very roomy. The hosts had a special dog box with essential pet supplies that made everything so easy. A few suggestions: provide a scrub brush for the kitchen! It was nearly impossible to wash dishes with only a bottle brush to be found and no dish cloths. Also a bigger mat in front of the door! Especially in the winter. We kept stepping in our puddles from our snowy boots. That's it. Everything else was perfect!

Best Location Ever!

Great home for a quick weekend getaway. I loved how much room there was and the amount of space in the common areas. Slept a good amount of people and had all the cooking space you could want on vacation. Nice appliances and furniture which made it feel like home. It was great to show up and have everything we needed (shampoo, conditioner, soap towels, bedding, etc.) This made it quicker and easier to pack. Easy to find and in a great location for me since I am not familiar with Bear Lake. Very close to town and a grocery store which we had to visit a few times and close proximity to the lake. I would highly recommend anyone to stay here. Everyone who came loved it!

Nice Property

Property was new, clean and comfortable. There were seven of us who stayed. It’s smaller than the picture showed especially the outside property. There was absolutely no place to park our boat.

Great Location

First the suggestions for improvement: More thorough cleaning. We spent a little over an hour cleaning after we arrived. Floors had been swept, but obviously not mopped in quite some time. Under beds and the couch hadn't been cleaned and we found lots of dust, used tissues and napkins, as well as various dog toys. Lots of food stuck in the slats of the kitchen table. Rest of home was very clean though. There are no window coverings for the sliding glass door. A couple of the plastic patio chairs were broken. There was a large rip on one of the couch cushions, but it had been sewn previously. There really isn't much of an outdoor seating area. Bunk bed mattresses were very uncomfortable. Other than the areas for improvement, this was a great home that my family and I would rent again. Great location, easy walk to the beach at Bear Lake, quiet neighborhood and excellent view of the fireworks display during 4th of July. Tons of towels of varying sizes and well equipped kitchen with everything a family would need to prepare meals. Fridge and freezer worked well and the AC kept the home very comfortable. The welcome basket for our dog was a nice touch. Plenty of parking for our four vehicles. While we had to take our own garbage to the dumpsters, they were very close by and were emptied daily. Check in and out process was quick and easy.
