What's nearby:
This rental is an outdoor lover's paradise! In the summer, hiking trails abound in the Donner Lake area, as well as public beach access at both West End Beach, a gorgeous 10-acre beach park (a nominal entrance fee is required) and the Memorial State Park. On the north side of the lake, you'll also find public boat docks. Multiple ski resorts are in close driving distance for any skiing and snowboarding enthusiasts.

Very nice condo. Clean & comfortable. There are stores and restaurants in walking distance. The listing showed that there are TV's in the bedrooms but they have been removed.

Throughly enjoyed the condo and its location. I was out supporting my sister who was hiking the PCT and taking a couple days off. Easy access to trailheads so she could slack pack a couple days. The hot tub was great!

Not good

A bit dirty with hair everywhere and unclean kitchen floors. Limited kitchen equipment, only knife was paring knife, limited cups. Couch is no comfortable. There was no access to hot tub and gym although it was written as available when we booked. Had to message Vacasa for four days to get someone to OK reimbursement for this. Would not stay here again

Nice...but needs some attention

Condo was nice, but lacked some touches and things were annoying. For starters, the inside door knob handle kept falling off. Real annoying. Looking under beds were filthy. TV was complicated. Had a input for Satelite but no signal, and the other streaming services were not working Remotes were missing batteries. Smoke alarms were too sensitive as they kept going off cooking bacon...and it wasn't burning. No pot holders...and the chain on the ceiling fan in the living room was broken off, so you had to get a dining room chair and stand on to turn on fan. Accommodations were ok, but it being owned by Vacasa, there was not attention to detail. Would not stay again.

The advertised amenities were not available, towels were stained

My kids and I were very disappointed that the condo was advertised as having a pool, hottub, and gym available but when we got there none of those were available for use. The condo smelled very strongly of cheap cologne for the whole stay. The towels were stained and my daughter found a long hair on one of the washcloths. Definitely would not stay here again.

My kids and I were very disappointed that the condo was advertised as having a pool, hottub, and gym available which is why we booked it. However, when we got there none of those were available for use! The condo smelled very strongly of cheap cologne for the whole stay.l and was very off-putting. Some of the towels were stained and my daughter found a long hair on one of the washcloths. Definitely would not stay here again.

Perfect location for visiting Donner Lake, Lake Tahoe, Kings Beach and Truckee. Home was clean and comfortable. Kitchen was spacious and nice appliances. Check in and check out super easy. We would stay here again.

Spent 3 nights in this condo. Just off the main road but there was no noise. Upstairs didn't seem occupied so we didn't hear anything. Condo was clean and with adequate space in shared spaces and patio. Beds were excellent. Plenty of towels. Kitchen well stocked with plates/ glassware etc. Shower and conditioner provides, but no body soap. Card to access swimming pool/ hot tub/ gym didn't work, was able to reach vacasa rep by phone, handyman came over next day, tried to get us a new card but never returned before we left. We found a way into the pool area nevertheless. Condo was also walking distance to a supermarket, Starbucks, and other restaurants and a couple exits from Downtown Truckee. Would come back and use this property.

Basic levels of cleanliness not met

Honest feedback: the home and garage smell strongly of cigarette smoke. The floors are so dirty our feet were black within minutes. We found black mold in the grout of the main bedroom shower, no soap provided in one bathroom. Very uncomfortable stay.

Great, simple place.

Check-in was a breeze, location was nice near bike paths and food, but just out of town. We never saw or used the pool or hot tub. I'd stay again.

Lovely condo in a perfect location.

Good amount of space for a family. Close to grocery, food, town, and Donner Lake. Lovely bike path takes you right to the lake. The condo has a master bed/bath and 1 additional room with 3 beds and an additional bed in the laundry area. With a day bed in the near as well. So beds for every one. Not many pots/pans and no spices/salt/pepper looks etc. Bring your own food stuffs.

Good condo

Condo was very clean and well maintained, comfortable and reasonably stocked. Great location walkable to a handful of restaurants and grocery store and central to ski areas. Be advised the condo is on the ground floor and back/bunkbed bedroom (which we didn't use) is RIGHT under the stairs with the only window DIRECTLY on the walkway to the stairs. Absolutely zero privacy unless blinds fully pulled all the time and considerable noise from folks on stairs and upstairs unit. This alone would make me hesitate to stay again.

Awesome place

The place was clean, you feel that you are at home. The location is great! You can walk to Supermarkets, Starbucks, restaurants. All the beds were very comfortable. It’s a quiet place near trees.

Nice enough but …

Great location…. Nice rooms …… the issue is that in order to use services such as hot tub , you need to pay an extra fee per person every day . This information was not included in listing and should be . Also there was no information about pool, hot tub, ect. Location or fees in condo either. Overall nice enough but listing lacks accuracy.
