In Town Pet Friendly Truckee Home With Large Deck and Big Fenced Yard

Two bedroom one bath fully equipped kitchen for friends and family get-together's. Comfortably accommodates four. King size bed in master, roomy closet space. Wake up to a dreamy view of Mount Juda. Guest bedroom has one queen bed and lots of extra storage room. We limit occupancy to four adults. Cabin, small children strongly discouraged without rigorous supervision. Convenient washer and dryer. Comfortable couch recliner to enjoy and winddown from a day of outdoor fun with a glass of wine. Living & dining room looks out to a large deck. Barbecue and take in the lovely view of Mount Anderson. Back deck walks down to a large fenced back yard. Great place for pets to exercise. Walk to the neighborhood park and yes, it's dog friendly. Convenient location to grocery store, just pick up what you need for your perfect vacation celebrations. Bakery and restaurants are as close as one block away for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Even a pet store if you need something for Fido. If you need outdoor rental equipment it's a stone's throw away. In the winter the bus stop for (TART) Tahoe Area Rapid Transit is just down the street. So, you can walk to the bus and leave the car at home.

What a wonderful getaway! Carl provided lovely welcoming touches, detailed guidance of the area and excellent communication. The location is ideal - so close to all our favorite Truckee activities, shops and restaurants/coffee houses and also so peaceful on the deck listening to the wind through the trees. The home has all conveniences and was super clean. Carl made special accommodation for our adventure cat, and Guz also gives the week a big toes up - thank you :-)

We will absolutely return to this gem. The host did such a great job of turning a small older Cabin into a comfortable place to stay. There were a lot of added creature comforts that made this stay that much more comfortable and easy going. We just got to play in beautiful Truckee/Tahoe area and not worry about things. The location is conveniently located to easily get wherever you wish. Thank you for a great stay and we look forward to staying again.

This was a great property, well appointed with lots of nice amenities and touches. Close to the grocery and shops in Truckee, very nice little neighborhood. Host was communicative and takes good care of the property. Would definitely book again!

This place feels like a home away from home. Everything was thoughtfully prepared, and the check-in process was smooth and easy. The bed was super comfortable, and we really appreciated the small touches that made our stay special. Thank you for such a lovely experience!

The cabin was perfect in every way. Very clean, cozy and comfortable. The deck was great to sit on and enjoy the view of the beautiful mountains. The beds are very comfortable and the towels are soft and so nice. The cabin offers everything you could possibly need. We loved our stay and hope to stay here again sometime. The hosts were very welcoming, and accommodating when there was an issue, jumped right on it an had it corrected in less than a day! The cabin is well situated, very clean and perfect for our family and golden retriever, we would be glad to visit again!

Wonderful dog friendly home!

We had a great stay here - has everything you could need and is just a short walk from a bunch of great coffee places and restaurants. Also nicely air conditioned for the summer months!

We had another great stay at this cozy, clean home. It is well stocked with thoughtful touches, has comfortable beds, and a great deck and yard for dogs. Easy entry and the owner is very responsive. Location is central to everything. We just booked it again for another winter visit.

Wonderful spot in great location

Nice clean and spacious home with a fully stocked kitchen. Perfect landing spot for our trip, awesome location right downtown within walking distance to some restaurants and stores. Very reasonable pet rate as well.

Super dog-friendly cabin

Great cabin with awesome deck and amazing yard for the dogs. Everything you could want for was offered. The location was perfect. I would absolutely book this cabin again.

Great Home Base for Exploring the Area!

Very clean and comfortable cabin in. Central location, with comfortable beds and everything we needed for a great stay in Truckee. Nice deck and back yard with amazing view of snow-covered mountains! We didn’t have any pets, and were pleasantly surprised that the house was so clean - no pet hair to be found!

Convenient and Cozy, Excellent Host

Well located cabin, spotlessly maintained. The master bed is very comfortable and the bath was plenty hot! Perfect after skiing. My family of 3 enjoyed our stay and hope to return. The host is very kind and accomodating.

Perfect getaway

We had an amazing time for our second stay at the cabin. The house is stocked with everything you could want for in a home away from home. The dogs had the absolute best time enjoying the yard and deck above anything else. We will definitely be back again!

Wonderful stay in Truckee

The house is wonderful as is the yard and the deck. The house is extremely well equipped.And it was perfect for our visit. Very close to Donner Memorial State Park and downtown. Lake Tahoe is only a short drive away. We can’t recommend this rental enough. We’re looking for when we can visit next. Lisa Alan and dog Bella

In a nut shell I gave my husband "Baachus"( not his real name), an outlandish request while he was working in the nearby Tahoe north shore area. We where goofing off on the telephone and he asked what do you want for your birthday. I replied in a goof: "buy me a house near the a lake". Before you know it he was calling up realtors and exploring North shore and Truckee. One thing lead to another and within a month we had both quit our jobs & moved to Truckee. He had bought the house "sight unseen" to me. Consequently, when I first walked in the door was laterally my first exposure to my new home. "Happy Birthday to me". thanks Bacchus your the best.

Quite cozy home with a large back yard that is dog friendly. Need a place to park your horse trailer, rv, boat, or fifth wheel, we have the room. When you wake up in the morning but don't feel like making breakfast; just stumble across the street to wild cherry's coffee shop. Feel ambitious and would like to make a big breakfast for your family, we have you covered there with a fully outfitted kitchen.
Perhaps you want to take in the sun out on your own private deck, turn on the stereo, put on your shades, and chill out in a lounge chair. Want to camp out while still sleeping inside, we have the what you need. Your kids can enjoy a tent outside while you watch them from a comfortable distance on a memory foam mattress.
Or maybe you would like to sit out on the deck and stare at the gorgeous mountains.
Additionally, we are just steps from the park. Woof-woof!
