Our house is an elegant and bright two-level apartment set in a unique setting in the city: it is located in the magical and central Borgo Marinari, the islet where the famous Castel dell'Ovo stands, connected to Via Caracciolo by a romantic bridge. A stone's throw from the best hotels in the city, some of its major monuments, as well as the sea, the house is in a position that is difficult to match.

It represents an ideal starting point to visit the city and its surroundings, to enjoy the intense and changing panoramas of Naples, but also a welcoming and romantic refuge to spend the evenings at home with friends, enjoy a dinner or read, work and relax.

The house has been recently renovated, with parquet and luxury finishes, is tastefully furnished and is equipped with every comfort. The house is composed as follows:

- On the first level, there is a spacious and bright living area, furnished with care and elegance with a six-seater table, sofas, a hammock and TV. You will also find a large, sunny and equipped kitchen, with a table for four, fridge, freezer, oven and dishwasher. On the first floor there is also a lovely double bedroom which communicates with that of the upper floor through a closable window. The room has a small balcony overlooking Castel dell'Ovo. A guest bathroom and a laundry room with washing machine complete the lower floor. If necessary, the beds in the double bedroom can be separated.

- Upstairs, there is a bedroom with a master double bed with an en suite bathroom, equipped with a bathtub. The bedroom overlooks the lower floor bedroom from which it is separated by a closable glass door and a blackout curtain. There is also a comfortable study area with a two-seater sofa bed. The study area can, if necessary, be isolated and darkened through a curtain and therefore includes two more beds. The study area is connected to a colorful bathroom with shower and a large closet space.

The house is equipped with every comfort: TV, independent heating, air conditioning, free wifi, washing machine, dishwasher, double fixtures. The house, located in a safe area, also has an armored door.

We can also accommodate the little ones and on request we can provide high chairs, camp beds ...

You can request additional services such as:

Very close to a lot of restaurants and other things to do. Space had been well taken care of, showed some age, but that’s to be expected. Twin beds were pretty snug, wouldn’t recommend for adults.

We found Casa Borgo Marinari, to be spacious and well equipped. It is located within a historic marina area, away from the bustle of the city but close enough to allow easy access. We were a group of six, with three teenagers and there was room to spread out. The area is generally quiet although there are restaurants below the house and once or twice there was noise from diners late into the evening. The accommodation is on the first floor and there are stairs and a disabled lift.

Wonderful apartment in every way!

We had a fantastic stay in this apartment. It's spacious, clean, and has everything you need (wifi, TV, kitchen stuff etc.). Host is very friendly and the location is perfect. Highly recommended for family or small groups of friends!

Napoli Away from the Noise

Casa Borgo Marinari was great. The neighborhood is full of restaurants on the water and several bars. It is on a pedestrian way so it may require a little work to get your luggage from the main road to the apartment but it is worth it.

Fabulous location on the sea

Marcello was a great host. The location is perfect for all activities, our favorite tour from Get Your Guide was a boat tour to Capri with a swim stop and they picked up within 5 minutes walking distance from our place. All is great, The internet could work better but other than that we had a lovely time.

Lots of space, ceilings are low so if you're over 6'4" be careful. Location in the marina is great.

We really liked the unit due to its size and once we got the washer figured out all was good. Lots of restaurants in the area. About a twenty minute walk to the ferry terminal Beverly where we caught the train to Capri.

Comfortable and spacious in a gorgeous location

The apartment looks even better then the pictures. Well-equipped kitchen, lots of space, extremely comfortable. Air conditioning worked great, we had a little balcony to sit out on and watch the world go by. It is in a great spot- right by the sea, just a little apart from the main city. It has a thriving restaurant culture and there are a ton of food options at your doorstep. Busy in the evening but the apartment does a good job of keeping the bulk of the noise out.

Great location

Naples is not my favorite place but this area at marina & next to castle was night. There is alot of night life. My only negative is the floor was dirty. It looked clean but when walking with no shoes my feet were very dirty.

A special part of Napoli

This is a fun apartment to stay in. The clever engineering of space, and we were still discovering little touches of creativity and practicality at the end of our 4 day stay. The Borgo Marinaro setting is both apart from old Napoli, and close enough to be able to walk to most of the many of the main sites in the historical centre, and to the ferry landing for trips to Capri, Ischia and Procida. On a fine evening the stroll along Lungomare and Cariciaolla is unsurpassed for views across the city and bay.

We had a wonderful stay overall and would definitely recommend this B&B. The property was beautiful, very clean, welcoming, and the atmosphere was relaxing. Everything else met or exceeded our expectations, and the hosts were kind and helpful.There were just a few small maintenance issues that, if addressed, would make the experience absolutely perfect.The bathroom sink faucet on the lower floor splashed water to the side when turned on, which made it a little inconvenient to use.The hot water in the shower was also quite unstable. It would stay hot for a moment and then suddenly turn cold. We found that the only way to keep it reasonably warm was to position the handle in a very specific spot with just the right amount of water pressure, but even then it would often turn cold again after a short time.We also noticed a small amount of mold on the ceiling above the shower, which could use some attention.These were really the only negatives during our stay. Overall, we had a great experience and would happily return. With just these minor improvements, this place would easily deserve a perfect rating.

Very spacious accommodations with a big kitchen with a separate laundry room. The second floor was a mezzanine so not enclosed which lead to the two main bedrooms stacked on top of each other. If anyone snored, even with the windows closed led to discomfort. The location of the apartment on a pedestrian area lead to some challenges with luggage if you couldn’t convince the taxi to drive up to the door. The area had lots of cafes and restaurants which was great but could be a bit loud if you wanted to go to sleep early. The host was great.

Italy

Perfect walking location!! Only needed transport to farther locations like Pompeii and Herculaneum and Amalfi. Ferries to islands are walking distance. Take a taxi up the hill and walk down if it is too much. Restaurants and bars right next door. Noise was not a problem. You can hear them on the weekends but never kept us or our granddaughter awake.

Spacious, clean, and cool apartment in a charming location

We loved staying at Marcello’s apartment. It is located next to an old castle right near the water. There is a stunning view of the coast and Mt. Vesuvius. The apartment was air conditioned which was very nice for my mother. We hadn’t had this luxury at other apartments in Florence and Rome. We also used the washing machine which was necessary near the end of our two week stay in Italy. Marcello and his assistant were friendly and provided thorough and clear directions and check in instructions. They made us feel at home. We hope to stay again in the future if we can!

Best Accommodation for Naples

I cannot imagine a better place to stay when in Naples. The location is perfect. It's a 20 minute walk to the ferries; there's a huge assortment of restaurants, bars and gelato vendors immediately out the front door. It's walking distance to the shopping district too. There's also a good and inexpensive grocery store close by. And it has beautiful scenery all around it. It feels completely safe even late at night.The actual apartment is much larger and nicer than the pictures show. The couches and beds are all comfortable. The bathrooms (there are 2.5!) are large with plenty of hot water and good pressure. The AC works well. The apartment truly has everything that you could need. This may be the best VRBO I have stayed in and I am a frequent traveler. The owner and manager were super easy to work with and very flexible with times in and out. I would give this my highest recommendation. I hope to stay here again when I am back in Naples.

my stay at Marcello and Simona was amazing! They are a pleasure to deal with,very accommodating The apt. was big, clean, airy one small comment not a complaint for them to know that the shower water did not drain fast! I"ll give the place 5 stars plus!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!II I was born in Naples and i can tell you location is top!!!!!!!! Of course restaurant near by I recommend Stella beautiful wiew of the bay good food!!!!! I"ll will definitely to my friends here in San Diego,Ca.Victor Sorrentino. (my 3 granddaughters loved it! also}

This is a wonderful property located in the vibrant Borgo Marinari, the historic marina of Napoli, which recently became one of the prettiest areas of the city. The apartment has a view of the central market of Borgo Marinari, packed with restaurants and a vibrant nightlife. Its side has a view of Castel dell'Ovo fortress. Some of the best restaurants in Napoli are located here. The apartment is huge, on two levels, with three baths and can easily accommodate 10 people. It has blinders and noise-reduction windows to isolate from outside noise and all needed amenities, as advertised. It has two separate AC units for full comfort, high speed internet, guides to Napoli, the works. For the sea wolfs: you can come with your family by boat, dock in the marina and stay in the apartment. Marcello is a great host, prompt and fast and we communicated flawlessly. He also provided a connection for a garage nearby, at a reduced fare. Overall, a highly recommended rental that I will pass to all my friends.

Estancia en apartamento Borgo Marinari de Marcello.Semana del 22 al 29 de Marzo 2019 en Nápoles.

Apartamento muy recomendable para Nápoles en una zona próxima al paseo marítimo, con mucho ambiente, limpio, ordenado, luminoso y sin ruidos. Marcello muy atento a todo desde el principio hasta el final.Buen anfitrión. Ha tener en cuenta que las compras de alimentación hay que desplazarse un poquito a Santa Lucía.

maravillosa!!

Pues estuvimos 4 días...Y la verdad que al entrar nos impresionó y mucho. ..todos los detalles..un salón baños y habitaciones grandes y muy limpio. ..yo lo recomiendo a todo el mundo...Y Simona en todo momento se preocupó por cada cosa ,si nos faltaba algo ..por todo...Y el sitio..maravilloso...yo tengo clarismo que el día que vuelva a Nápoles esa volver a a ser mi casita...muchsimas gracias por hacer que estas vacaciones hayan sido maravillosas...

The location was very unique (on a little island next to an old castle). We did need to cross the bridge by foot since our taxis and Uber/Lyft did not want to cross it, but that didn't bother us at all. We loved the apartment and would stay again.

We have stayed at many vacation rentals, and Marcello’s place was probably the best! The apartment is spacious and well appointed. The location is lovely and was perfect as my husband was attending a conference nearby. It was HOT in Naples while we were visiting, and the air conditioning worked wonderfully - we were exceptionally comfortable in the apartment. I would love to stay here again if we’re ever back in Naples.
