The Little Yellow Cottage

The Little Yellow Cottage is perfectly located in the heart of the historic downtown. It's next to the town park, creek and theater. This was the first vacation rental in Murphys...and has been a guest favorite for over 20 years! Enjoy dining in the private back garden gazebo, making smores over the wood fire pit, or enjoy a game of Cornhole with the family. This home is sure to provide dear memories of your visit to our area.

Please note that the 2nd bathroom has a clawfoot antique tub (no shower).

Vacation in the woods

Road Trip to Gold Rush Country

Very cute property. Went there with friend so the 2 bedroom 2 bath was perfect. Disappointed in the plumbing in the house. Faucet on the tub needs work, toilet in that bathroom has to be flushed numerous times, faucet handles throughout are backwards & confusing. Really goofy. You need a better plumber. Hair dryer in master needs replaced. These minor issues should be easily repaired.

Lovely Cottage

Lovely little cottage in convenient location. The back garden was so peaceful and even in the heat of the summer a cool and shady spot to sit and relax.

nice to be centrally located

nice but somewhat outdated which didn't take away from the convenience of being close to town.. losing power thee times was unfortunate with no emergency lighting available.....

Quick Murphys get away

Very nice home and super close to main st and all the wine tasting, eating and shopping. I would love to stay again!

Great Location

Loved where this place was located. Just a hop skip and a jump to Main Street Murphy's. Walked everywhere. The place is on the old side, but it is very clean. The place did get a little toasty and we were told not to turn the thermostat down past 70. So it got a bit too warm for us. Otherwise, a good stay.

Overnight stay

This place was perfect for our 1 night stay in Murphys. Convenient walk to town, and we loved that they are pet friendly and dont require a two or three night minimum. Very cute little house with comfortable bed.

The house was clean, yard was perfect for lounging after dinner and bed were comfy after a full day of walking around town.

Love this place

Charming, comfortable, amazingly located in town close to everything (Grounds, Murphy's Treasures, Man Cave, Ice Cream). We will definitely stay here again for our next visit.
