This was the 4th time, over the years, that our group of friends has stayed at the school house. It is a clean, quiet, comfortable, pleasant place to stay. Also extremely convenient to restaurants and shops.

The house was beautiful and very spacious. We loved being able to walk back and forth from shopping, wine tasting, and restaurants with ease. Plenty of hot water and pressure for nice showers. Would definitely book again in the future.

Murphys Original School House - Fabulous House

The house is charming and comfortable, making it feel like a home away from home. The location is unbeatable, just a 2-minute walk to downtown Murphys. I highly recommend staying here. The owners are always responsive and pleasant to work with.

Perfect Location

Stayed for a girls weekend and the place was perfect for walking to downtown wine tasting rooms. Kitchen was well stocked and beds were comfortable.

Excellent location

The house is super charming and cozy! I’ve stayed in a lot of places up in Murphy and I’d have to say so far this is my favorite, the location is wonderful, it Is near all of my favorite places! I will definitely book here again!

Great house!

Very cute updated home with everything you need for a weekend stay. Plenty of parking. Walk to downtown Murphy's shops and restaurants. Would stay again!

Perfect Murphys House

We stayed here 6 years ago and nothing has changed! Beautiful house, very comfortable with all the amenities and great location. Highly recommend. Hope to stay here again one day!

Perfect Family or Friend Getaway

Spacious and comfortable home in the heart of Murphys. Easy walk to stores, market, restaurants, wine tasting, and park. Short drive to Mercer Caverns. Our groups’ ages ranged from 13 to 76, and the trip was enjoyed by all.

One of the nicest VRBOs we've stayed in

We loved everything about the property. It was so convenient to downtown walking, the furnishings and kitchen were beautiful. We loved the front porch. All in all, it was a wonderful property. I am asking friends when they want to go back.

Charming and relaxing

This sweet home has all the makings of a relaxed getaway. We enjoyed cooking meals and eating at the large dining table, playing games, and relaxing on the porch or big squishy sofa. The furnishings are comfortable, the kitchen has all you may need, and the location can’t be beat! Nuala was a helpful and gracious host.

Pre wedding get away

This house was perfect! LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION!!! I had a wonderful weekend getaway with my best friends and my daughters prior to my wedding. We had such a nice time. The rooms were nice and kitchen and bathrooms were updated. There was plenty of seating in the living room. The weather was absolutely perfect and we enjoyed spending time on the patio. Best of all, we were right in town and could walk everywhere . I would love to come back and stay here again!

This property is beautiful and perfect location. Our daughter got married at ironstone and we had a wonderful time. The only problem was the air conditioner went off about five times.

Murphys house

Thank you to our wonderful host, Nuala, for allowing us to stay at this beautiful home. Not only was it beautifully maintained & decorated, but it had the perfect location. The house itself was immaculate & the porch & outdoor spaces were amazing. This has become my new favorite place to stay for our yearly 'girls trip' weekend to Murphys, CA. Thanks again.

Excellent Property

This home is beautiful. It’s clean, nicely stocked with everything you could need, the floor plan is perfect for 6-guests to sleep and have enough space to not be on top of each other. The location is DYNAMITE! One block from town! Big parking lot for your cars. Beautiful wrap around porch and nice size yard for gathering together. This is my 2nd time renting and will definitely be back.

We had a very relaxing time at this beautiful home. The home is clean and the kitchen has everything you would need. The house feels roomy and the bedrooms are large and comfortable. The location is great for walking into town. All in all a great place to stay in Murphys.
