The cabin is very private, with a wooded driveway. Beautiful lake cabin with nice wide dock, perfect for lounging or launching. There are 2 kayaks available for you to use as well as 1 canoe (NOT a lake to swim or fish in). The property is located right on the Paul Bunyan Trail, so it is great for biking, walking, snowmobiling and other outdoor activities. It offers beautiful views and wildlife is abundant. We have deer, swans, geese, turtles, eagles and much more! The yard is level and large enough to play games. At night, come sit with your friends and family around the camp fire, listen to the loons and gaze up at the stars!

Cozy Cabin

Awesome property, will definitely be staying here again. Also will recommend to friends/family. Had a relaxing fun weekend playing card games etc in this cozy cabin. Also had lots of entertainment to offer within short driving distance of the cabin.

Gorgeous!

We three sisters spent three nights at this property. One thing was mentioned in another review: keep right at the fork with the sign for the Paul Bunyan Trail! The road was difficult to follow when covered with the abundance of colorful leaves! Great place for walks, bonfires and feeling the peace. The home was beautiful. We had several visits from a friendly cat. The table was big enough to both eat AND do a jigsaw puzzle! Lots of fun places to shop. We even got to play mini golf in Pequot Lakes! It was super fun!

This house was secluded, and it was private. it was very comfortable, the beds were very comfortable. It had everything we needed. I work remotely so I needed good Internet, which was perfect! Every morning I woke up to the most beautiful sunrise over the lake, absolutely gorgeous sunrises. I have family that lives close by and the next time we visit we will definitely be renting again!

Great Girls Weekend

We loved our stay here. So appreciated the bath in the loft! Every gal had her own bed! We made dinner over the fire one night and used the kayaks. So remote and beautiful. Host was super communicative. We had everything we needed, including food storage! They have so many games, too. We had a ball. Thanks for a fabulous experience.

Lovely

Perfect for our needs. Beautiful private setting overlooking a large pond. Watched the Northern Lights from the dock. Amazing beam construction. Horses across the road and unique steers in pasture on the drive in.

This is a Wonderful Place!

What a fantastic place to stay! Ultra-modern while visually rustic at the same time. Everything you need is already there and provided for. The cabin is very comfortable in every regard. The area is beautiful and quiet and peaceful. There is even a fire pit overlooking the lake. We stayed for four nights and left wishing that we had stayed longer. We look forward to returning sometime.

Private retreat

This cabin was perfect for the two families that stayed here this weekend. The cabin was very clean and just as described in the listing. Such a private space, big yard to play games in, great fire pit and dock to the water. Communication with the host was always very helpful and timely- she was great to deal with! We would definitely consider returning!

My personal paradise

We loved this place because it is quiet, rural, and secluded, yet not far from town. The toughest part about this review is where to begin because there were so many amazing aspects of this property. Believe it or not, the driveway was an experience on its own. Just as you think the driveway couldn't look any more rural or wooded, you make another left turn and you are literally driving through a tree tunnel. Just amazing. Step out into the backyard and there is an environmental lake (a marsh) which is absolutely stunning. We took a walk in the woods to a state trail and it felt like we were walking through an aspen wonderland. I highly recommend this property for anybody who values solitude, privacy, and a high-quality living experience. The actual cabin is new and beautiful in every way. Highly, highly, highly recommend this location. To the property owners, you guys were wonderful. I hope you found Sonia's kittens, please say hi to mama kitty for me as we miss her!

Was an amazing cabin in the woods. Very quiet and secluded. We loved every minute of including the outdoor space. Which we used the fire pit and ladder golf. Will definitely book it again when in the area

We had two awesome days in this beautiful cabin. We plan on returning again next summer. We especially enjoyed the outdoor kitty cats that visited with us. We all love kitties. Thanks for a great experience.

So wonderful!

We absolutely LOVED our stay at the cabin! Everything was perfect, clean, had all we needed and it was such a peaceful place. Keri was such a wonderful host, made sure we were all set and sent us things to do in the area. Our boys have asked to go back again next year! Just can’t say enough about how wonderful our stay was!

Weekend fun

Wanted a place for our group to stay after Playing at BiR raceway. It was a peaceful place to unwind and make an awesome Bbq dinners. All you need is close by. This is a great place to stay. I plan on staying there again this winter for a snowmobile trip. Trail are close by.

beautiful cabin in a great location

We've been coming up to this area once a year for a fishing trip for the last decade. This is easily the nicest cabin rental we've experienced. highly recommend.

Cozy Cabin tucked in the woods

The cabin was very clean with a well stocked kitchen. The setting is charming - large green lawn tucked away in the woods. We enjoyed the short walk through the woods to the Paul Bunyan Trail. There are even cows very close (although they were so quiet - I tried hard to make them moo!) . The cabin is on a marsh with lily pads and grasses. There is lots to do close by in Nisswa and fun restaurants.

Quiet, clean, and cozy

We had four adults and four kids stay at the cabin. Everyone was able to sleep comfortably and we enjoyed being tucked in the trees. The cabin has several games to choose from to play and a great backyard space.
