Our one-week stay was perfect plus exactly what we expected and needed! We both really needed to escape the chaos of the big city and have some peace and quiet after a very difficult year. We wanted to celebrate our 42nd wedding anniversary and also my wife's breast cancer victory at a secluded and private cabin. This was our very first VRBO experience and we were pleasantly surprised at how relaxing and beautiful this location truly was. The cabin was perfect, very cozy, and close by to everything that we needed. Thanks to the owners for an amazing experience and sharing your wonderful cabin with us!

What a unique location! Deck overlooking a beautiful river. The home quaint and comfortable. Everything so convention. We hope to come again someday.

Magical and cozy getaway!

I cannot overstate how amazing our stay was. The cabin felt like it came straight out of a Disney movie. I would start each morning by having coffee with a family of deer that lived in the nearby woods and end each day with a beer and a bonfire by the river. The isolated location was exactly what I wanted and at times it was hard to get out and explore because I was so cozy inside!

What a special stay we had in this wonderful cabin. The pictures do a great job of documenting the spaces. Just add a soundtrack of birdsong and the river flowing by and there you go. The place was spotless, up to date, and very well maintained. We notice design details and this cabin was a gem. It was well stocked with kitchen supplies, games and puzzles, cozy blankets, and more. I didn't end up cooking as much as I had thought I would but we had everything needed for creating some great meals. Communication with the owner was great. We had one little kink to work out when we got there and he was quick to respond and very helpful. We enjoyed lots of reading, exploring the area and doing a little hiking. All and all, this was by far the best VRBO experience we've had. If we are ever in the area again this will be our destination, hopefully for a longer visit. Thanks so much for sharing your special place!

River’s Edge is a Cozy Oasis

We were lucky enough to call River’s Edge our home for 4 months this summer. It exceeded our expectations! We had water damage at our house in Crosslake and needed a place to stay from June-September. It’s a 2 bedroom three level house. The basement is a walk out complete with an electric fireplace, laundry room, game table, dartboard and cozy place to watch TV. There is new carpet in the basement and upstairs. The main level has been updated with new flooring and kitchen updates. It has a bedroom with king size bed, bath, 2 living areas, a wood burning stove, nice dining table and a deck overlooking the river complete with a table and grill. The kitchen is stocked with everything you would ever need. The walls are knotty pine and it creates a cozy atmosphere. The main level has an air conditioner to keep you cool. It has lots of windows to create natural sunlight shining in the living room all day. Upstairs is a bedroom with 2 twin beds, a loft, and a bath with shower. The property is only 1 mile from Crosslake, so it’s in a very convenient location. There is a outdoor fire pit by the river, and it’s very peaceful to sit down there and listen to the river. You can also hear the river flow from the deck. The owner of this property is very responsive to any needs, and has created a warm and cozy place for you to enjoy. I would definitely recommend this property any season of the year.

Pictures do not do it justice!

This place is beautiful and so quiet! It is a little tough to find at first but so beautiful and peaceful! I would only recommend lighting down to the firepit along the path!
