Hubert & Anne were very welcoming on our arrival from London. They showed us around their lovely home explaining how to operate the pool etc. We had our 3 & 5 year old grandchildren from LA staying with us and the amount of toys and activities for them to play with was truly amazing and a real life saver. The home had every thing to make our stay very comfortable and the ability to eat at home. Thank you.

There were 9 of us aged 7 - 72. The well designed villa included a kitchen to envy. Efficient aircon guaranteed a good night's sleep. The pool and deck were perfect for us. The 5 children spent hours in the water and served us soft drinks and nibbles from the pool bar - great fun!And Nana always found a shady spot near to the fun in the sun.Location wise - just an hour out of Bordeaux - there was something for everyone - either to walk to or a short drive. Calm waves to walk to on one side of the peninsula, golden beaches and rolling waves just a 5 minute drive on the other (the beach is supervised).Some of us bodyboarded, skimboarded, paddleboarded, while others just swam and played in the surf. Cycling and fishing was easy to organise. Food wise - we walked every morning to get our breakfast baguettes and pastries. And the produce market - 10 minutes walk away - had everything we could imagine and more - high quality fruit, vegetables, cheeses, fish, meats etc etc. Quite expensive, but great value.We didn't eat out but the nearby oyster bars were tempting!

Très belle maison

Belle maison très agréable à vivre, très bien équipée. Notre séjour à trois familles s’est très bien passé. Très bonne situation également (à deux pas du bassin et des commerces). La disponibilité et la gentillesse des propriétaires est très appréciable.

Excellent family house

We had a lovely family holiday in this beautiful house. Extremely well equipped which lacked nothing. Perfect location, near market, shops and beaches. Very clean with comfortable beds and plenty of hot water. We wished there were more than two toilets for the 13 of us, which is our only criticism. We cannot criticize it, except we wished there had been more toilets for the 13 of us.

Merveilleux moment

Très belle villa familiale, où l'on se sent comme chez soi aussi bien à l'intérieur (déco soignée, bel équipement, literie parfaite) qu'à l’extérieur... où nous avons passé de bons moments sur les terrasses, coin salon et cuisine, piscine .. le mobilier de jardin est divers, confortable et suffisamment nombreux... Cerise sur le gâteau : Table de ping-pong, baby-foot et vélos à disposition . Emplacement agréable près du port de Piraillan très pittoresque et du bassin où la vue sur Arcachon, la dune du Pyla est superbe. Bon accueil avec les propriétaires et petites attentions très appréciées... Je recommande ce petit (!!) havre de paix....

Un emplacement en or !

Nous avons une semaine dans la maison et nous ne regrettons absolument pas notre choix. Maison très propre, fonctionnelle, au calme, très agréable.. Le gros plus: L'emplacement à 200 m du bassin, des plages et des cabanes à huîtres! Je recommande à 100%.

Villa magnifique !

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour dans cette magnifique villa ! Très proche du bassin et à 10 minutes en vélo de l'océan, l'emplacement est vraiment top ! Marché tous les jours à 5 minutes à pieds, il y a aussi les marchands de poissons et de fruits de mer pêché tous les jours qui sont situé juste à côté de la villa, endroit magnifique d'ailleurs. Super U a proximité aussi, vous pouvez faire le drive. Villa très confortable car il y a une salle d'eau dans chaque chambre, ce qui est vraiment appréciable quand on est entre amis avec enfants, la vie en communauté est plus simple ! Belles chambres et bonne literie ! Nous sommes tous ravis et espérons pouvoir y retourner dans les années à venir ! Propriétaire très gentil !

A spacious and comfortable property in a quiet location

We used this property for our family gathering to celebrate a special birthday. It worked very well for us as the rooms were large and the beds comfortable, with plenty of communal space. The weather was excellent and we almost always ate at the large table outside. There is a sunken seating area that we enjoyed using for sun lounging and as a place to sit around and chat over evening drinks. We had been a bit concerned that the pool might be a bit small, but in the end we found it perfectly adequate and the children all enjoyed it to the full. As far as location goes, the house is a couple of blocks from the main road and a couple of minutes walk from the harbour where we bought our seafood. We hired good quality bikes at surprisingly reasonable prices from a shop beside the market square in the village, although other things in the area (like food) were nightmarishly expensive. We tried several beaches on the Atlantic side, but in reality there was no difference between them because the sand is uniformly incredible for miles to the north and south. On the bay side, we could easily access the beach on foot from the house. Overall this is an excellent house in a good location and we would have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone looking for a place to hold a family gathering or similar get-together, in very pleasant surroundings.

Wonderful house

We spend a week in Hubert’s beautiful house that is really equipped with everything you can possibly need Or want in your vacations (incl pong pong table with bets, amazing kitchen equipment, kids chair for eating etc). The location is great, right around the corner of beautiful oyster bars.

Que du bonheur

Maison très agréable, décorée avec goût et très fonctionnelle. Une salle de bain ou de douche par chambre,( ou presque) est très appréciable... le seul bémol est le canapé lit qui est juste un lit d'appoint, et sur lequel on ne peut pas dormir une semaine . Cabane d'été avec plancha et frigo : super ! équipements et situation de la maison parfaits ! .....

La magie du lieu

Villa idéale pour des vacances entre amis ou en famille. Très propre, très confortable et décorée avec beaucoup de goût. Offre la possibilité d'accueillir un séminaire de 10 personnes. Connexion Wifi et grand écran. Merci aux propriétaires pour leur gentillesse, leur disponibilité et leur compréhension.

lovely villa and pool great location

what a lovely place to spend our 50th wedding anniversary with our children and partners and our grandchildren. Excellent kitchen area with all the gadgets(my children love to cook and share tasks) plenty of space to grab your breakfast and eat it where every you fancy and in the evening eating together outside by the pool with its handy poolside cabin with fridge and cooking facility and if you do run out of wine Hubert has thoughtfully provided some of his own chateau wine to buy very reasonably. Hubert and his wife are very welcoming and could not have been more helpful. They obviously love and care for the villa .For the little grandchildren the beach was just around the corner and the big ones were off on bikes to the endless sand on the Atlantic side Everyone loved it. Great near bye market ,little degustations a stones throw away. Lovely memorable Holiday. Thankyou Hubert

What a great place for a family holiday

Lovely house and situation. Cannot think of any improvements to suggest. Owners seem to have thought of everthing. My daughter is telling all her friends what a great time we had and some of her work colleagues are trying to make a booking for themselves.

Magnifique maison - très agréable à vivre et idéalement située proche du bassin et des commerces

Nous avons eu la chance de passer une semaine dans cette belle maison avec notre famille élargie (grand-mère, enfants et petits enfants). Le lieu est très bien conçu et bien entretenu. C'est facile à vivre entre les espaces communs (cuisine - salon - terrasse exterieure) et les chambres individuelles (chacune dotée de douche). Nous avons particulièrement apprécié la fonctionnalité de la maison, la décoration faite avec goût et sa localisation (proche du bassin et des commerces). Les propriétaires nous ont accueilli chaleureusement et nous ont donné beaucoup d'informations utiles. C'est une expérience que nous répéterons volontiers.

Un petit coin de paradis

Séjour exceptionnel dans une villa de rêve ! Tout était parfait : maison très fonctionnelle et agréable à vivre, décoration soignée, environnement propice au bon-vivre et à la détente, accueil par les propriétaires très chaleureux et attentionné (encore merci à eux)... Nous aurions bien aimé y rester plus longtemps!

Villa top du top!

Une maison très spacieuse et décorée avec beaucoup de goût. Terrasse en bois de rêve avec piscine. Emplacement idéal avec la plage à quelques mètres à pieds.

Que du Bonheur !

Une maison très agréable avec beaucoup de goût. Excessivement bien équipée. La région nous a énormément plu. Et la situation est exceptionnelle ! Des propriétaires très sympathiques qui vendent un vin avec un rapport qualité/prix juste parfait ! Que demander de plus ... Et en plus l'année prochaine, la piscine sera chauffée !

WE réussi dans un environnement charmant

Nous avons passé un excellent week end dans cette magnifique maison forte agréable: belle décoration, de belles chambres, de beaux espaces, très bien équipée, fidèle au descriptif (à l'exemption de l'eau de la piscine qui n'est pas encore chauffée, mais ça ne saurait tarder). L'extérieur est fort appréciable également avec son coin canapé très cosy, un abris très bien équipé. Idéal pour passer un moment en famille ou avec des amis (petits comme grands ont appréciés). Des propriétaires charmants, fiables et sérieux. Nous reviendrons certainement pour une période plus longue.
