Great stay! We had 3 couples with us.The bedrooms were nice and sheets where clean. The pull out bed in the living room was very uncomfortable, I would plan to bring an airmatress or foam topper if you need/ plan to use the pull out couch. It would’ve been very helpful to have the pans under the oven labeled. We didn’t find them till the Sunday of check out. Bathroom was small but clean! Nice large dock for our 28 ft boat, and very close from dock to house, overall great stay.

a quick scalloping get away

cute little house. not fancy but comfortable. super quiet and peaceful. if you are going during the busy season like we did you will be glad to be away from the crowds and the public boat ramp.

We love the location, the feel of the small fishing village was just what we were hoping for. The cottage was fully equipped for all our needs. Very relaxing stay.

Seeing if Steinhatchee will be the place to buy home

The location is perfect! Very peaceful! Although I never got opportunity to meet Peggy, I was able to meet Paul, her husband, multiple times. Very accommodating and wonderful to talk with! Highly recommend

The property was cute. Plenty of amenities'. Comfortable outdoor area. Spacious landscape. Friendly and accommodating owner. Would definitely recommend again for another stay.

Nice and quiet location

I really enjoyed staying here. This place is very clean and It’s a low traffic location with a peaceful atmosphere which I enjoy. Because of the local flooding, I had to reschedule my stay and Peggy was very understanding and helpful when making this happen. I will be staying here again next season.

We had a great getaway here. The property is as desribed and was comfortable. Big screened in porch is awesome. Fishing in river was good as well.

Our first scalloping trip

Absolutely a lovely house with the perfect location hardly any traffic. Has to be one of the most prepared house has absolutely everything you need from cooking to cleaning. The dock is absolutely beautiful and is set up amazing. Talked to Mr Paul and he was amazing with giving directions to scalloping and to fishing spots for later visits. We can not wait to come back absolutely love the house.
