We have loved this location each time we have stayed. It is peaceful and perfect for our trips to Steinhatchee!! It feels like a home away from home!

The dogs absolutely loved the fenced in yard! The house was spotless and had everything we needed. We enjoyed our time immensely and would for sure go here again.

The property was just what were hoping for. We even saw Manatee swim past! Excellent host too. We would definitely go back. Super dog friendly, we had to teach ours how to use doggie doors, but she caught on quickly. Very peaceful and secluded. Our go-to spot was the couch on the screen porch.

Beautiful property on the river. We loved it, we have a 21 foot carolina skiff and we were able to bring it and park in it their circular driveway with no issues (it might be a little snug for someone not experienced with towing a large boat). The main boat ramp os only 4 miles away. The property was clean and perfect setup for bringing your dog. We will definitely reserve this property again.

This is a beautiful home/property! This place checked off everything we look for in a rental; large fenced yard for our 2 fur babies, waterfront, multiple outdoor gathering areas, stocked kitchen with all the utensils and pots/pans. The bedrooms and bathrooms are immaculate. The living room is so super cozy. Close to boat ramp and local restaurants. This place is one of our favorite fur baby friendly locations we have ever stayed at! We will definitely be back..

This property has it all!!! Beautiful riverfront views and access, perfectly stocked home, comfortable home, river access via a floating dock, able to watch otters and manatees playing in the river, plenty of fish…..the home has character with a pecky cypress wall, and beautiful bird pictures/artwork. The screened in porch was comfortable, spacious and offered beautiful views.

Fenced yard was a plus. Plenty of room for the dogs to run, play, and explore. House was clean and has about anything you'd want. Might want to hit the grocery store before you get to Steinhatchee. Quiet Quiet Quiet. Great screened out building to "camp out" in. Kayaks for the river. Over all everything thing was great!

It was peaceful!

It was in the country, very peaceful. Also very dark at night. Only nature noise! It was Fabulous!!!

Fun on the river

We enjoyed fishing off the dock. I caught an alligator gar. We kayaked at Keaton beach and enjoyed the activities going on at the Marinas

Very welcoming, very comfortable Shangri La sanctuary. The back porch is to die for. We ate dinner out there every night. Our dog loved the approximately half acre of fenced in dog heaven. There is a big screen TV and an electric fireplace. We enjoyed the nearby Steinhatchee Falls and our dog fetched in the gulf at nearby Horseshoe Beach while we took sunset photos. We appreciated being able to lock the gate at night although there is no worry about crime in such a heavenly, serene place.
Nearby Horseshoe Beach is a great place to take sunset photos and have your dog fetch a stick in the gulf.
Steinhatchee Falls is a beautiful place for a picnic. It also has a place to launch kayaks to go all the way down the river to town.
We saw manatees with their babies at Three Sisters Springs in Crystal River. An hour before high tide is best. The manatees ride the outgoing tide out to eat, and return with the incoming tide and pick up their babies, on the way in.

Memorial Day escape

We were looking for somewhere quiet where we could enjoy the water....We would give 10 Stars if we could!! Hands down one of the best , most comfortable and clean vacation homes we have ever stayed at!!! The host attention to detail is amazing right down to the pink salt that we forgot, lol ... We could just go on and on at how pleased we were with our experience and even got out on the river behind the house with the provided kayaks the beautiful plants, the grounds, all the water accesses, We could go on and on but it was just perfect and we didn't want to leave... Already talking about when we can come back!!! Thanks for being such amazing hosts
