Very nice secluded place

Very nice place, that was close to the beach and stores. Yet secluded. Loved it, and would book again.

Will stay again!

Spacious, clean and well maintained house. The property is close to grocery stores and restaurants. 15 minute drive to the beach. Will definitely stay again!

"This house was perfect for our family. Fun game table, lots of space, It was very well-stocked and very clean. Communication was quick and easy and there were lots of little welcoming touches. Close drive to all the places we wanted to go and a very quiet neighborhood."

easy place to stay

We enjoyed our time . There is plenty of room and the kitchen has everything you need . The property manger was quick to respond to any questions and very helpful. The house is close to the beach and the grocery store. It was nice to have a quiet place to retreat to after a full day . It was ancomfortable place to spend a raining day.

Yuck

The king bed room had blood syains on mattress along with, hair, floors and furniture were dusty. The mattress needs to be replaced. I think i got bit by dust mites.

This is a project in process. It was evident that the property was converted from some sort of multi-person/multi-family use. There were still numbers on the bedroom doors. The flooring has been replaced, but the floor in the kitchen was spongy (perhaps rotted subflooring) and wrinkled. They use heavily scented sheets and there are scent machines throughout. I had to rewash all of our linens to get rid of some of the scents. And it is still apparent that there is a mold/mildew issue. Every one of us had allergic reactions whenever we were in the house. The master bedroom had a dehumidifier which helped somewhat. There are no lamps in any of the bedrooms, so we had to sit in the living room if we wanted to read. Plus, just having overhead lighting (some of it is fluorescent) does not provide an appealing ambiance. I had to contact the property manager because there were only 4 forks, knives and spoons (we were a party of 5), but she responded quickly and delivered two full sets. There was inadequate glassware, so we just kept hand washing our glasses as we used them. I had to go out and buy more toilet paper. There were some real pluses to the property. It was very quiet and private, yet it was very convenient to Chincoteagure (15 minutes) and it is right next to Ray's Shanty...a good place to get great basic seafood! I really hope they will continue to update the property because it has real potential!!

Everything you need

Had everything needed for a long stay. Plenty of room for everyone. Kids had fun in the sand while older kids had fun playing basketball. This was our second year here and will continue to be our go to place for this location.

Nice stay near chincoteague

the driveway is a little hard to figure out but other than that it was nice, I like the secluded area and there was plenty of space for everyone. I would stay there again.

Great time

Property is big. Plenty of room for our group of 11 to eat meals together, play games, and hang out. Hose out front to rinse sand off. Washer and dryer was a great addition. Would recommend bringing extra towels. There is a dollar general, family dollar and food lion right down the street. Would definitely come back here again.

Great Vacation Home

The home was very spacious and had all of the amenities. It is very secluded and quiet and is close to Chincoteague Island and stores. Raj and Brittany were great to work with and always available. I would recommend this home to anyone.

End of Summer Vacation

Great place to stay. Always in touch with property manager for any issues. Didn't have any. Found plenty to do within a short distance from property. Would book again

Family Vacation Getaway!

My family and I have been coming to Chincoteague Beach for 18 years now, we usually stay on the island so naturally we were a bit timid of booking a home outside of Chincoteague Island but let me say it was by far our best family vacation yet! The home is so spaceous and the AC works great, they have a playroom with a airhockey/pool/fuseball table and a smart TV great for the kids to play /hangout. The living room also has a huge flat screen tv as well. The backyard has a grill and a bonefire stand. The drive to Chincoteague Island is literally 10 minuets, the veiw is gorgeous on this 10 min commute. There is a shopping center a few minuets down the street with Foodlion, Nails Shop, and Sonic from the home so it is very convinient to go out a grab whatever groceries or items you may need. The home is private and comfortable, my family and I plan on comming back and making many more memories here!
