Perfect for a romantic getaway! Imagine dipping your feet into the cool clear creek, then hike down that creek to a little waterfall. Roast marshmallows at the fire-pit, or soak in the hot tub. Creekside Serenity is a heavily wooded, deeply shaded, rustic, 1.88 acre property and is secluded. It is a 1 king bedroom, one bath cabin, one story pet friendly cabin (no pet fees) with fenced yard, screened porch, with firepit, propane log fireplace and wireless internet.

Helpful Travel Tip
This cabin is accessed by private mountain roads that aren’t county-maintained. For the smoothest arrival, and for preservation of the roadway, the Road Committee recommends 4-Wheel Drive, with All-Wheel Drive as a minimum.

Cancellations, rescheduling, or changes must be submitted in writing and confirmed received by Sliding Rock Cabins® more than thirty-one (31) days prior to the original check-in date in order to receive refund, less a Sixty Five Dollar ($65) cancellation fee. Said changes regardless of reason made within thirty-one (31) days of your original check-in date will result in a forfeiture of all moneys paid. All moneys paid are non-transferable to another rescheduled date. Refunds will be given if Agent can re-book said dates with another guest limited to the extent of rebooking. Amazing experience!

October 2017 Stay

My husband and I took our German Shepherd to Creekside Serenity for a little getaway. We had an amazing time. The cabin was cute, comfortable and well equipped. We spent our days exploring the woods and relaxing by the creek. It was very secluded, peaceful and pet friendly. Would definitely visit again. The only con was that the road was very washed out and we had a hard time getting out. Next time we will take the 4x4!

Cabin in the Georgia Mountains

Jackie and I and our Bernese Mountain Dog enjoyed our four night stay in the mountains outside Ellijay. Our cabin was quaint, rustic, and well equipped...just as described in the listing. Tranquil and serene are appropriate adjectives used in describing the property. While the cabin was very nice, getting to it was not. Once leaving the paved road, the unpaved road leading to the cabin extremely bumpy, the result of ruts and pot holes. It was very challeging in our Honda

Rest and reset

This cabin was amazing. Great location and easy to get to. We loved the hot tub and sitting on the porch relaxing and listening to the creek. The kitchen had everything. If you cross the creek and hike downstream about a quarter mile you will see a small waterfall. There are a few downed trees on the hike but it was worth it. If you go into town, we highly recommend going to the Red Apple Barn for apple picking during season. Mr. P’s takeout was amazing as a quick spot to stop for lunch to take back to the cabin. Fall Branch Falls was another waterfall that we drove out to the trailhead to hike out to. About a half mile hike out to the falls. Definitely bring extra toilet paper and towels with you if you are staying more than two days. Will be back!

Quaint and Secluded

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Creekside Serenity is exactly that. My wife and I were looking for a relaxing getaway where our German Shepherd would be welcome. The cabin was perfect and well equipped with everything we needed including dog toys! The creek was a perfect playground along with the many hiking trails and the sound of the babbling water created a perfect backdrop for a game of cards or a nap in the hammock.

Secluded Creekside Serenity

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The perfect vacation location! Great location and nice to just spend time there without having to go anywhere. (We did that a few of the days) Our Shihtzu Lu-Lu Belle loved rolling in the leaves! She is now a mountain dog!😂 The cabin is well appointed and so well stocked that you don’t have to bring much! It was the perfect size for us! We are definitely returning!

The hot tub was nice after a long walk and in the evenings. Our pups did great here. The fenced in area for the pups to go potty was awesome! We’ve never stayed away from home and found this convenience. We really needed a long weekend of relaxation and that’s exactly what we got!

Aptly Named Cabin

The serenity of sipping morning coffee creekside and from the screened deck was as pleasant as it gets! Hot tub was very nice feature after a day of hiking and shopping. Seamless checking in and out. We would definitely stay here again and bring our dog next time. Nice small penned area for dog. We would also be interested in other properties in same area big enough for 4-6. Please consider re-hanging the low hanging hammock a bit higher and disposing of the bees hanging around the steps to the hot tub... there may be a nest under the deck or stairs.

Cute Place on Beautiful property

The grounds are gorgeous and private. I was disappointed that no one went in before I arrival to turn on the heat. When we arrived, the cabin was 55 degrees inside. Also, they provide an after hours phone number, but do not expect a response until they re-open. I would stay there again, but these are things to be aware of.

Serene But Steep

From the constant sounds of the creek to relaxing either in the hot tub or by a campfire, Creekside Serenity is the perfect place to get away from everything. The property is well maintained & equipped with everything you, and your 4-legged friends, may need. Being nestled in a little valley offers privacy, but the driveway is pretty steep. Luckily the weather was beautiful, but I don't know if my Honda CRV would have made it out in wet conditions. We also ran into an amazing amount of traffic both on and off the mountain, too!

The cabin is well maintained. It was clean and comfortable. The only drawback was the road in. The main road was rough and bumpy but not too bad. But the turnoff road that leads to cabin driveway was a different matter. I would definitely recommend visiting in a 4 wheel drive, my little CRV had trouble with the steep hill coming out.If you are looking for seclusion and privacy, I would highly recommend this cabin for your getaway!!!

The Perfect Place to Chill

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The Creekside Serenity cabin was clean and comfortable, just as described. The bathroom is newly remodeled with a great (very hot:) shower; the screen porch too gets extra high marks – with a new, massive swing. The creek is SWEET as are the outdoor areas – although, in contrast to the inside, the decks and walkways needed a good sweeping, maybe a power-wash. The last part of the drive there is challenging, a dirt road that’s steep in a couple areas and rutted after rains, so do be aware, look at the weather forecast, and evaluate your vehicle if you hope to get out and about a lot. I do think the time on a not-great road is minimal compared to a lot of other cabins – and you are midway between Ellijay and Blue Ridge; very convenient location-wise. I would definitely stay at this cabin again and thank the owners for sharing it.

Cozy and Serene

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The cabin was so clean and homey when we arrived. I absolutely LOVED listening to the creek all day and night. It did rain the entire time, but we were still able to hike down to the waterfall and got some good rest because of it. The only downfall was the road getting to the cabin. There was no warning that it would be so difficult without a 4 wheel drive vehicle. It made us not want to leave to see anything else as our truck had difficulty sliding around on the gravel and getting up and down the hills. I would highly recommend having 4 wheel drive if you're staying out here. We also had some gnats in the cabin, but besides being annoying they didn't bite or anything. I would definitely stay again and am interested in checking out other cabins so friends can join and we can tube the river!
