Perfect for a romantic getaway! Imagine dipping your feet into the cool clear creek, then hike down that creek to a little waterfall. Roast marshmallows at the fire-pit, or soak in the hot tub. Creekside Serenity is a heavily wooded, deeply shaded, rustic, 1.88 acre property and is secluded. It is a 1 king bedroom, one bath cabin, one story pet friendly cabin (no pet fees) with fenced yard, screened porch, with firepit, propane log fireplace and wireless internet.

Helpful Travel Tip
This cabin is accessed by private mountain roads that aren’t county-maintained. For the smoothest arrival, and for preservation of the roadway, the Road Committee recommends 4-Wheel Drive, with All-Wheel Drive as a minimum.

CANCELLATION/RESCHEDULING/NO SHOW/EARLY DEPARTURE: Each cabin is privately owned and cancellations affect owners significantly. Cancellations, rescheduling, or changes must be submitted in writing and confirmed received by Sliding Rock Cabins® more than thirty-one (31) days prior to the original check-in date in order to receive refund, less a Sixty Five Dollar ($65) cancellation fee. Said changes regardless of reason made within thirty-one (31) days of your original check-in date will result in a forfeiture of all moneys paid. All moneys paid are non-transferable to another rescheduled date. Refunds will be given if Agent can re-book said dates with another guest limited to the extent of rebooking. Agents are not responsible for Guests inability to arrive or if Guests chooses to depart early for any reason, or if members of Guests party do not show up. Relaxing, secluded vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Just what we wanted, relaxing seclusion! The location and amenities were perfect. We loved the steady sound of the babbling brook outside. Everything was in good working order and easy to find. The swings and screened in porch were so nice for a quiet reading session. The only downside was that there appeared to be some water damage around the roof some time ago. My wife noticed a musty odor right away that never seemed to diminish.

Awesome cabin for a nice getaway!! Nice king size bed, wi-fi, tv in bedroom and living room. Beautiful deck setup with screened in porch. Hot tub well maintained and delightful! Lots of wildlife, we saw a bobcat cross the road! Next time we visit, we'll rent a car with 4 wheel drive, the road is gravel which is fine (unless it rains which can make it complicated.) Quiet, peaceful and relaxing! Just what we needed! - Sheryl & Ian

Just what I needed

The cabin is perfect, just far away from town to see the stars and not hear the noises of the city, but close enough to go stroll around downtown or grab some groceries the creek is peaceful, running right behind the cabin. We will definitely stay here again. Both my wife and dog loved it!

Rest and reset

This cabin was amazing. Great location and easy to get to. We loved the hot tub and sitting on the porch relaxing and listening to the creek. The kitchen had everything. If you cross the creek and hike downstream about a quarter mile you will see a small waterfall. There are a few downed trees on the hike but it was worth it. If you go into town, we highly recommend going to the Red Apple Barn for apple picking during season. Mr. P’s takeout was amazing as a quick spot to stop for lunch to take back to the cabin. Fall Branch Falls was another waterfall that we drove out to the trailhead to hike out to. About a half mile hike out to the falls. Definitely bring extra toilet paper and towels with you if you are staying more than two days. Will be back!

Cabin in the Georgia Mountains

Jackie and I and our Bernese Mountain Dog enjoyed our four night stay in the mountains outside Ellijay. Our cabin was quaint, rustic, and well equipped...just as described in the listing. Tranquil and serene are appropriate adjectives used in describing the property. While the cabin was very nice, getting to it was not. Once leaving the paved road, the unpaved road leading to the cabin extremely bumpy, the result of ruts and pot holes. It was very challeging in our Honda

Seclusion

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is the third time staying with Sliding Rock Cabins and the 2nd time staying in Creekside Serenity. It is everything that I wanted, secluded, clean, all amenities needed. Absolutely great for pets, with the gated side porch, the screened in porch, and the fenced yard. The hot tub is nice and the bubbling streams were magical and so very relaxing. I came by myself,this time, and my wonderful lab. The only draw backs to Creekside Serenity were the very uncomfortable couch and recliner and the divided road right before the cabin. This time I had a terrible time leaving. The rits in the road were so very bad that I could not straddle them or go around them. They were extremely deep and it took me 8 or 9 attempts to finally get out. The road should diffenitely be scrapped and made passable. I certainly don't mind a dirt or gravel and steep road , or some ruts, but the ruts this time we're almost impossible to get through. It would also be nice to have a screen door in the kitchen. The weather was so nice that I didn't use the ac at all and having the kitchen open would have been nice.

The serenity of sipping morning coffee creekside and from the screened deck was as pleasant as it gets! Hot tub was very nice feature after a day of hiking and shopping. Seamless checking in and out. We would definitely stay here again and bring our dog next time. Nice small penned area for dog. We would also be interested in other properties in same area big enough for 4-6. Please consider re-hanging the low hanging hammock a bit higher and disposing of the bees hanging around the steps to the hot tub... there may be a nest under the deck or stairs.

It is a secluded, peaceful and charming cabin alongside a picturesque creekside with a constant soothing sound. it definitely is hidden within the beauty of the tall surrounding trees of the mountain. That being said, it is a about a 7 minute drive from the main road through a dirt and bumpy road up the mountain. As you approach the cabin, there is a steep gravel road which can be quite challenging if you don't have a truck/4X4 vehicle. Overall, it was an amazing experience!

Creekside Serenity Cabin

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is our 5th or 6th time staying at Creekside Serenity. It is by far our favorite cabin in the area for 2 people (& dogs)! Rustic, secluded and on a small creek safe for the dogs to romp in. The cabin itself is not very big but it's very warm & comfortable. The waterfall a few hundred yards downstream is worth the short hike but be prepared to have to make your way around some over-growth and a recently downed large tree : )

AWESOME Cabin and Location

Thank you for allowing us to experience wonderful a few days at your cabin having the creek right there was amazing for the dogs. We all enjoyed the campfire and hiking around… We did all our cooking in the kitchen and everything was there that we needed… The only thing lacking was some salt and pepper… Lol, we enjoyed the hot tub each evening and the bed was very comfortable. Also just a wonderful stay and we do appreciate everything of how you keep it so clean and tidy. Great things to do in the area, waterfall hike, and a fun town with great breweries and shops.

The grounds are gorgeous and private. I was disappointed that no one went in before I arrival to turn on the heat. When we arrived, the cabin was 55 degrees inside. Also, they provide an after hours phone number, but do not expect a response until they re-open. I would stay there again, but these are things to be aware of.

(We did that a few of the days) Our Shihtzu Lu-Lu Belle loved rolling in the leaves! She is now a mountain dog!😂 The cabin is well appointed and so well stocked that you don’t have to bring much! It was the perfect size for us! We are definitely returning!
