Relax by the Coast, Close to Beach - Johnson Island Cottage

Celebrate the holidays by the coast when you stay at Johnson Island Cottage! Johnson Island Cottage is an updated and renovated first floor rental in a residential neighborhood with dining room, kitchen, living room, yard, off street parking, spa shower in the renovated bathroom with 3 bedrooms. Located just off 61st street, the property is 5 minutes or less to Schlitterbahn, Moody Gardens and The San Luis Resort. For the nature and outdoor lovers, a storage room is available (additional fee required) for bikes, kayaks, paddle boards, etc. and two garage parking spaces are available as well (add'l fee required). Please let us know of any special requests at the time of reservation and we will do our best to accommodate!

The kitchen is full sized with refrigerator, oven, microwave, double sink, clothes washer and dryer, cookware, utensils, serve ware, dinnerware, drink ware and silverware. The open layout is relaxed and flows nicely from kitchen to living room to dining room with the front door located centrally between the dining and living rooms. The living room has a 4K big screen TV on articulating mount for viewing in any of the three rooms and a 5.1 sound system for movie nights or just listening to music! The dining room seats six at a rectangular table beneath a casual yet elegant chandelier. When not eating, the room is great for family game night or a good poker game! The first bedroom is just off the dining room and has a single twin bed, dresser, nightstand and lamp with large closet. The bedroom has a window unit so it can be kept as warm or as cool as you like! The second bedroom has two twin beds, two closets and a window unit. There is a large carpeted area for kids to get on the floor and do kid stuff! The third bedroom is the "master" with a queen bed, night stands, lamps, two dressers and couch/futon. The room also has a wall mounted TV with articulating mount for viewing from bed or the seating area. The bedroom has a window unit air conditioner to keep it just the right temperature! There may be some variations in furnishings or decor since pictures were taken.

Adjoining the master, the new primary bathroom has dual vanities, separate water closet and huge spa shower with 16 inch rain shower, hand held, built in marble bench and glass shower door. The second bathroom was remodeled a couple of months ago and features a spa shower with rainfall and handheld shower heads. All new 100% cotton towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion and toilet paper are all included for your stay! Home is pet friendly for up to 2 pets. $100.00 non-refundable fee for the 1st pet and $50.00 non-refundable fee for the second pet. 25 lb limit. Guest must contact our office prior to arrival to make arrangements for payment of pet fee and signature on a pet addendum. All fees and services are subject to 15% tax.

We welcome our guests and work diligently to make their experience memorable. However, we only rent to adults over the age of 25 and families. A photo copy of identification of main renter is required prior to arrival of stay.
