We loved this property! It is small, but well kept, cozy, and truly wonderful. Communication with the host was great and we were so happy, we'd definitely come back here again.

We loved staying here in the cabin! It was so homey, comfortable, rustic and was right up all of our alleys/fit us perfectly! The views were great and we spent time in the swing by the lake and were in awe of the beautiful blooming Lilly pads and wildflowers! It is so peaceful and serene here you just want to put up a hammock and nap on the porches. We enjoyed all the deer especially the baby deers that still had their spots. The shower was fantastic with the hottest water and the softest towels. Hosts were fabulous and we will definitely stay here again when we get the chance to return. Very clean, kitchen stocked perfectly with every pot, dish, gadget you'd ever need! We ate breakfast every morning on the screened in porch and said our blessings for food and this place!

Enjoyed our trip to papas place. Boat was a nice touch. Close to everything. Cabin was clean. Only negative was no washer and dryer. Would stay again

It was an ok place to stay. Would have liked to know about the road construction on the major highway to the property when booking. This added some frustration getting in and out of the property. Was on a nice little lake but property wasn’t really secluded. It’s at the end of the road but there are other homes real close. Would have really like directions on operating and use of the hot tub. There were good directions left on everything lease. Communication with host started in VRBO, then texts, then email and then back to texts. Would have been easier to monitor if all communication was in VRBO as cell coverage wasn’t consistent during our travels. The room closest to the main door had cobwebs on the walls and corners. May have been just a cleaning oversight. We did enjoy some beautiful Sun rises over the lake.

OUR GROUP OF FOUR ADULTS LOVED EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS CABIN FOR 4 NIGHTS. THE LOCATION ON THE LAKE AND ITS PROXIMITY TO DOWNTOWN WAS PERFECT. THE CABIN IS WELL FURNISHED AND STOCKED WITH EVERYTHING YOU WILL NEED TO BE RIGHT AT HOME. IT'S VERY HOMEY, QUAINT WITH LOTS OF CABIN AMBIANCE. WE ENJOYED THE SCREENED IN PORCH WHERE WE PLAYED CARD GAMES, ATE, ETC. THE OUTER DECKS WERE NICE OPTIONS TOO. WE NEVER SAW A MOSQUITO. THE CABIN IS SURROUNDED BY A BEAUTIFUL VARIETY OF TREES AND VIEWS OF THE MOST PEACEFUL, SERENE LAKE. WE LOVED KAYAKING THROUGH ALL THE BEAUTIFUL LILLY PADS ALONG THE SHORELINE. WE DIDN'T USE THE HOT TUB AND FIRE PIT, BUT LOVED SITTING IN THE SETEE BESIDE THE DOCK. THE KITCHEN HAD EVERYTHING WE NEEDED TO COOK AND SERVE FOOD. DEER WERE RIGHT OUT THE FRONT DOOR IN THE EVENING. WE HOPE TO RETURN SOMEDAY. BEV H. FROM LAS VEGAS.

Best stay in whitefish!

Perfect place to stay if you want a little more peace than down town offers, it is still very close to down town. The place was exactly as described, the host and neighbors were very friendly and recommended some great spots to check out.

Amazzzzzing time at the cabin! Be aware of the dirt road going into the cabin, but well worth the drive! Communication with the host was very responsive and very helpful always! The lake was a bit overgrown with algae and the lily pads in full bloom!

Relaxed lakefront break

We had a great stay on Blanchard lake. The view from the cabin onto the lake is superb. And we loved playing in the lake and using the kayaks. I was surprised staying so close to town that we rarely made the trip, nice big kitchen and a very comfortable stay.

Breathtaking Views

This cabin is perfect place to stay for a true Montana experience. The cabin is quaint and comfortable with everything you’d need inside. The dock and views of the water from the cabin were spectacular.

Wonderful family vacation

The property was just as Cortni described. We enjoyed gathering on the porch for meals gazing at the lake. The nights were chilly and we enjoyed sitting by the chimnea. My family members enjoyed waking up to “peeping fawns” grazing outside the window of the “cocoon” cabin. Overall, this was a comfortable and well stocked cabin which helped make for a very pleasant vacation for us all.

Birthday getaway

The setting is lovely and peaceful. We loved hearing and seeing the loons. The cabin was very clean. The exterior is a little run down- feels like a cabin that’s been around for awhile. It didn’t bother us at all. The kitchen snd bath we’re both very nice and had everything we needed. The bed was comfortable. My husband loved it!

Quiet, nice getaway.

Cabin was great--cool woodwork and classic vibe inside--and well-equipped. We enjoyed our stay, and provided the quiet spot we desired. My only caution is that the lake itself this time of year (Labor Day Weekend) is fairly inundated with lily pads, including nearly surrounding the private dock. Not a big deal for us (wasn't planning on swimming), and even added some beauty with the blooming flowers each day, but may be a deterrent if playing in the water this time of year is a draw?

Thanks for the review and glad you enjoyed your stay. Just so guests are aware, there are lilies year round. We do clear them at the end of the dock and near the ladder each season. There are both native lilies as well as ornamental ones that bloom a fuchsia color as well as white. They are reminiscent of Monet’s lilies, very beautiful. The lily pads never impede our ability to swim, paddle board, and kayak from the dock and enhance the fish habitat as well.

Great house!

The property was at the end of a 2 mile dirt road and very secluded steps from the lake. They communicated with me prior to arrival and the house was very clean and cozy. We even saw a Momma and baby bear about 14 feet from the road while driving down the road to the house! It was very exciting to see them in their natural habitat. We saw deer all around the property at dusk and dawn which was very relaxing. It was an amazingg place to stay and only 30 minutes from West Glacier.

Family vacation

The property was beautiful, peaceful, just perfect! Wish we would have had more time! Love seeing the deer, and the hummingbirds. Kids seen different types of birds, squirrels, chipmunks. Lots of good memories made. Some bittersweet due to the 1st vacation without my husband. Loved that the place was away from the city, so that the kids could explore, and be away from phones, and video games, and everyone could appreciate beauty of nature. Blessed to have stayed at your cabin.

beautiful location

Once we got the air conditioning going , we enjoyed the cabin. The row boat and the paddle boat need to be retired or replaced. There is a hot tub but it is not usable. They should not be advertised. as usable.The location and the cabin were ideal for us. We would go back.

Montana living pure and simple!

The cabin was the most serene, beautiful place we could have ever stayed for Christmas! The snow falling, the lake out the back door...ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL! The owners were absolutely wonderful and even provided us with Christmas decorations. I can't say enough about how perfect this cabin was for us! We are looking forward to our next stay in the near future and summer too! Courtni's Brother, Tari was absolutely wonderful in helping my Grandson learn to ice fish. He caught 4 HUGE pike and even filleted them for us! I would definitely recommend Kings cabin to anyone looking for peace, beauty and a truly remarkable Montana experience!
