We loved staying in this beautiful log home off in the woods yet convenient to Glacier, Whitefish, and Kalispell. The owner responds quickly to any questions and provides a lot of information to help us have a great trip.

Such a beautiful home! All the amenities you need for a relaxing vacation with family and/or friends! Beds were very comfortable! Kitchen was well stocked for dishes and pans etc. Host was attentive and answered any questions we had.

The house was just like the photos. It was a beautiful log home, in a peaceful setting and close to both White Fish and Kalispell.

My family and I so enjoyed our 10 day stay at this beautiful home. We had six adults and one dog. Everyone was very comfortable and we had plenty of room to relax and spread out. We enjoyed many mornings just sitting out on the deck enjoying our morning coffee and viewing the wildlife that walked through the property. (Deer and fox) The kitchen had everything we needed and we had plenty of room for all of us to be in the kitchen prepping meals. Bob was very easy to communicate with and the house was exactly as described in the listing. I would highly recommend renting this property for your stay in Whitefish. Conveniently located to Whitefish and Kalispell. Easy access to Glacier National Park and the surrounding area.

Kim I always strive for 5 stars and I can not help to think that my inquiry into the broken AC unit played a role in this review level. I apologize you may have taken my inquiry the wrong way but the unit had no issues when you took occupancy and this brand new (1mo old) $800 portable AC unit was not turning on for the next renter - The logical path would be to ask the last renter if something happened?

It was a beautiful home! Close to many things in the area! We were happy to stay here for a few nights as we were visiting Glacier National Park. It was really hot in the home as it was in late July. There are lots of fans throughout the home to help cool it off. Communication with the owner was super easy and helpful!

I am glad you had a wonderful stay and it was so abnormally hot while you were there. As you know the airconditioned rooms allow for sound sleep and I am glad it did not effect you having a great time at my house and whitefish.

The property was fantastic! Our family of 5 thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property is nestled in the woods but you're not totally isolated as other homes are barely visible. The kitchen is out of this world! Everything you need and more plus it is beautifully designed with premium appliances. We loved sitting on the huge porch every morning with a hot cup of coffee. We observed mule deer, fox, turkeys and white tailed deer. We even saw a very rare flying squirrel-what a treat! Excellent communication from the host pre-visit, during visit and as we were leaving. About 37 minutes from the west entrance to Glacier. Thank you for everything!

Bob set the standard when it comes to communication as he reached out before our arrival, while we were staying he reached back out to ensure everything was going well and he checked back in one final time before we left to see if there were any last minute things we needed. Bob had stacked more than enough campfire wood, had laid out a booklet full of details on everything inside and out on how to work everything from the lights to grill. The kitchen and stove are both big enough to feed a small army if need be. We woke up every morning with whitetail deer browsing along the yard and shrubs and the neighborhood was silent in the evening. This place is located perfectly between Kalispell and Glacier National Park which allowed us to hike the trails on sun road several days while getting back to the cabin and eat supper early enough to get back up and do it all over again. Our family will return back to Bob’s place again and if we are ever back in this area this will be the first place we book. I would definitely recommend staying here if you are going to be in the Glacier area,

This was one of the nicest homes we have ever stayed in. The kitchen lacks for nothing - every appliance and convenience that you can think of is there! The house is spacious, the beds are comfortable and the bath towels are perfect. The host responds with lightning speed to all questions and requests. Two fireplaces add to the ambiance and it didn't hurt that it snowed during our visit making the house even more cozy. We look forward to staying there again!

In short, pictures don’t do the house justice and the owner was very communicative. The stoves were ready to go and the cook stove was a joy to cook breakfast on for my family. I can’t wait to come back to Montana and stay here again!

The home is beautiful in a beautiful setting. The kitchen was wonderful and we loved cooking and dining in for some of our meals. The deck is lovely and relaxing. Communication with the owner was outstanding. A couple things, The bed in the lower bedroom is very high and was difficult for us to get in. 6 adults stayed in the house aged 30-73 and even the 30 year olds had a hard time. Even though the bathroom upstairs had two toilets (wall separation) and two sinks it was a little uncomfortable using facilities at the same time without a door separation. We prefer a bit more privacy when using the bathroom. We went to Glacier National Park two of our three days and the location was good (about 40 minutes). We had dinner in Whitefish a quick 15 minute drive.

Wonderful home exactly as described in the listing. Fully stocked kitchen, spacious living room and dining room, comfortable beds, and on-site laundry. Perfect for my family’s visit to Glacier National Park! Bob was a terrific host with lots of good recommendations for places to eat in town and many maps and activity brochures on-site. Would definitely stay there again if traveling back to Montana.

I am sorry the heatwave effected your stay and there are really only a few days a year that the air-conditioning is necessary.....that said, I have a very powerful air-conditioner in one bedroom and the master bedroom is always very cool but I am sure the loft full of children was hot. Again, I am sorry that the summer heatwave hit while you were there as the entire summer was very cool up until this last few days August 30th and I have committed to getting a second air conditioner for the second upstairs bedroom for next summer!!! That means everyone can sleep in as cool a room as they want except the loft area.
