Very pleasant week in beautiful Lecce

Very clean and quiet apartment,with a large balcony( no great view unfortunately) situated at a 30 minute-walk from the city centre,but there are bus stops,a nice bar with free WiFi, supermarket and trattorias nearby.. Lecce is a lovely and lively city and ideally situated to visit,by car,trains or buses, all the beautiful places and beaches in Puglia. Paola and her husband are very friendly and thoughtful guests (everything ready for breakfast) and they are very helpful too.

Estancia cómoda y tranquila

Quiero resaltar la cordialidad de la Signora Paola durante el proceso de la reserva del apartamento y también personalmente a nuestra llegada. La descripción del apartamento en el anuncio se ajusta a la realidad. Su situación es muy buena, porque está en una zona tranquila, no lejos del centro. No tuvimos ninguna dificultad para aparcar el coche de alquiler en la misma calle. El apartamento es acogedor y estaba limpio y provisto de todo lo necesario para hacernos sentir como en casa. Sin duda lo recomendaremos a nuestros amigos y esperamos repetir la experiencia en nuestra próxima visita a Lecce.

Paola stuurt je na inchecken voldoende gegevens, je moet ze wel openen, om te kijken wat ze schrijft. Omdat we op een zeer hete dag aankwamen zou het prettig zijn geweest dat de airco al aangestaan had, deze kan trouwens wel een onderhoudsbeurt gebruiken. Uiteindelijk hebben we het gangetje met de slaapkamer redelijk koel gekregen. In de douche is de cabine erg klein, een wat forser persoon kan daar moeilijk douchen. Wasmachine werkt prima, wasmiddel voldoende aanwezig. Keuken prima voorzien van vanalles. Het balkon, best groot heeft geen mooi uitzicht, een oud fabrieksgebouw, en de airco maakt nogal wat herrie. Verder zit je zo'n 3 kwartier lopen van het Centro Storico, wat met zijn grote gebouwen zeker de moeite waard is.

Thank you for your review, although we feel that it does not present a completely balanced picture of your stay We are sorry that your experience did not fully meet your expectations. However, we find it significant that the review makes no mention whatsoever of the welcome package we provided, including coffee capsules, sweets, water and wine. These thoughtful touches were intended to welcome our guests and make them feel comfortable from the moment they arrived. We would also like to clarify that the air-conditioning system is new and efficient. The exceptionally high temperatures during your stay were weather conditions beyond our control. Furthermore, the distance to the historic city centre was not accurately described: the Obelisk marking its entrance is approximately one kilometre from the accommodation, a distance that can be covered on foot in considerably less than the 45 minutes mentioned in the review. We take note of the comments regarding the shower enclosure and the noise from the air-conditioning unit’s outdoor component. We also appreciate the acknowledgement that the washing machine works well and that the kitchen is fully equipped. We are always willing to consider constructive criticism, but we believe that a review should reflect the overall experience, including the thoughtful touches and services provided, while distinguishing genuine issues from personal expectations. We will continue to manage the property with care and professionalism, offering our guests a welcoming experience and services consistent with the description of the accommodation.

Tout est très bien mais c'est une bonne demi-heure de marche jusqu'au centre historique de Lecce! Nous avons bien apprécié notre séjour et Paola est très accueillante.

Position parfaite pour visiter Lecce

Un appartement comme à la maison, une place de parking devant l'immeuble le bus N°9 qui vous transporte directement au centre ville et vous êtes proche de la sortie de ville pour aller vers Gallipoli ou Otrante en voiture.

Great, Affordable. Clean, Quiet, Safe and Cool

This apartment is located some 25-30 minute’s walk from central Lecce. It has a simple kitchen/ dining area, a nice balcony, a washroom with shower and a bedroom. It is comfortable, compact and clean. It also has air conditioning, which is important since it can get hot in Lecce (it averaged 33-35C at the end of June 2016 when we stayed). Nothing fancy – functional and adequate for a party of 2. I am not sure how comfortable four people would be staying here. It also incredibly reasonably priced – so great value for money. We used it as a base for which to tour around Puglia. The kitchen is basic – four gas rings and a working oven plus microwave. There are no effective areas for food preparation other than the sink top and the kitchen table. We did cook here - it's not a place for gourmet food preparation, but you can get some things done. Nearby is a Lidl with quality, low cost food. Keep it simple and you will be ok. The apartment has a very efficient washing machine – do you don't need to pack a lot of clothes, just wash and put them out to dry and they will quickly do so. Sitting outside on the balcony (or deck, as we would call it in Canada) makes sense for most of the day, except it is hot and no shade from the sun at certain times of the day. The small table and chairs are fine, but there is no umbrella or sunshade. It is cooler in the late afternoon and early evening. There is a small sofa (actually a sofa bed) in the lounge.nThere is a TV with a great many channels (mainly Italian – no UK TV) and this is small. You will need to sit at or near the table to watch. There is also a music system in the bedroom (bring some CD’s). Wifi is available but is restricted to 30gb a month – so no serious downloading of videos, music or any large files. I would suggest investing in Skyroam portable Internet portal so that you can get around this restriction (see www.skyroam.com) - you have to pay for Skyrom ($8US for each 24 hours or part thereof) but it beats worrying about being cut off. It's a small device you carry with you (takes no room). Very quiet neighbourhood. Next door has two dogs, but you never really hear them and all is well in the area. Small playground for the kids just outside and nearby is a decent bakers and a quiet bar. While the area may look a little bleak, it is quiet and easy to park outside. It is also 100% safe and secure. Our host – Paola – is a charming lady who knows what she is doing. Overall - great value !

Un beau chez soi

J'ai passé une semaine dans cet appartement de Paola à Lecce et je me suis trouvée comme chez moi. C'est propre, c'est accueillant, c'est sympatique et on a tout ce qu'il faut pour y vivre un séjour intéressant! J'ai pu faire ma lessive et faire sécher sur le balcon au beau soleil de la Puglia. Le centre historique de Lecce est facilement rejoint par le bus 28 la semaine et le bus 12 le dimanche. De plus, Paola est vraiment disponible et avait même préparé un beau panier d'oranges, du café et ce qu'il faut pour se débrouiller les premières heures. Le marché est à 10 minutes de marche et il y a une pâtisserie-boulangerie qui fait aussi traiteur à deux pas de l'édifice. J'ai aussi pu me reposer à souhait car l'immeuble et les environs sont très calmes. Un magnifique séjour dans une ville splendide etbdes propriétaires exquis! Hélène de Québec Canada

Grazie tanto Signora Hélène per la bellissima recensione. Sono contenta che il Suo soggiorno a Lecce sia stato piacevole e ancor di più che ha trovato il mio appartamento adatto alle Sue vacanze. Ringrazio Lei per essere stata un'ospite meravigliosa, gentile e discreta, e per aver lasciato l'appartamento pulito ed in ordine. Se volesse tornare a Lecce, l'ospiterei ancora con immenso piacere.

ottimo

L'appartamento era pulito e di ottima qualità ed il servizio fornito dal proprietario è stato ottimo. La posizione che sembra defilata dal centro invece è molto interessante in quanto in soli cinque minuti si arriva a porta Napoli dove si trovano dei parchegggi non a pagamento e da quel momento Lecce barocca è a portata di mano.

Fantastica!

Tutto veramente fantastico! Proprietaria gentilissima, ci ha fatto trovare un vassoio di dolci tipici leccesi al nostro arrivo. L'abitazione è completamente nuova, pulita, confortevole e a pochi passi dal centro! Assolutamente da consigliare!
