Great Getaway with a Lake View!

The Lake House provides a beautiful, relaxing space for a getaway in a very nice and quiet neighborhood. This split level home boasts a waterfront view, decks off the kitchen and master, game room with pool table, fire pit, fishing poles, and a tree-lined walking path around the lake (sorry no swimming or boating is allowed). It is 5 minutes to the airport and 10 miles from all downtown Wichita has to offer. As a note there are no bedrooms or bathrooms on the main level.

From the backyard and lake just steps from your sliding glass door, you will enjoy an abundance of wildlife, including a variety bird species, ducks and geese, blue heron, and an occasional eagle in the winter. In the spring, there are tons of baby bunnies hopping through the yard to greet you throughout the day.

Disclosures:
- Security cameras are installed at the driveway and on the side of the house by the gate. They will be on and monitored occasionally. There are no cameras inside or in the backyard.
- Per the City of Wichita short term rental regulations, the Lake House may accommodate a maximum of eight people.
- There is no guest access to the garage.

What a beautiful, relaxing house this is. Gorgeous lakeside location. Very comfortable snd open floor plan made it easy for us to fix meals snd visit. Everything you could need was there. Cute decor, clean throughout, large kitchen/-all perfect. We communicated easily with Kelli. She was able to help us out with several needs. She went above and beyond. I would stay here every year!

We traveled from Eastern Kansas for a weekend vacation for our multi- generational family. The home was clean and provided for all of our needs! Our family thoroughly enjoyed the pool table and the vast assortment of board games. This property is located in a very nice neighborhood that we felt safe going for evening strolls in! If I ended get the chance to book again, we will!

We were in town for our nephew’s wedding and needed a comfortable place to hang out for a few days. This was the perfect place. We especially loved sitting on the back porch and enjoying the view of the water and trees. Very relaxing. A few laps around the lake for exercise revealed some contented ducks and a couple of bunnies hopping about. So fun! The only caveat would be for those who struggle with stairs. There is a short flight (4 or 5 steps) to get to bedrooms and a few more for the downstairs bedroom and game room, but I believe they’re easily manageable for most people. We would certainly stay here again!

This was one of the best VRBOs I have stayed in. The host was very helpful and made check-in a breeze. The house is beautiful and fully stocked for guests. There is laundry available if needed. Everything needed to keep the house clean is there. Plenty of cookware for making meals. Bring fishing gear because the ponds have good fishing. Catch and release only. This was so much fun and a great place to stay!!

We had a great time for a long weekend getaway. I am from Tennessee, so would not call that a “lake” but it was a great house in a great location to everything we wanted to do. Thanks for a great house!!

Fun Family Adventure

Great home with all the amenities of a well stocked kitchen to host our family. Close to our other family in the area. Really beautiful walks around the lake and a kids park right across from where we stayed.

Beautiful home and location!

This house was absolutely beautiful and the neighborhood was clean and well cared for. We had plenty of space for the eight of us to gather and visit with each other. Kelli, the host, was incredibly nice, helpful and accommodating. She was awesome to work with!

The pictures do not do it justice!! It was the perfect spot for us. We were up here for a softball tournament and shared the house with another family. The downstairs was perfect for our girls! They had so much fun playing pool and the bedroom with the 2 twin beds was off the game room and they had their own bathroom. Perfect for them to have their own space. Upstairs the rooms were separated perfectly so the adults felt they had their own space and privacy as well. The backyard was wonderful! We sat out there A LOT watching the lightening bugs and overlooking the water! They also allowed us to come in a little earlier than the check in time to get our girls out of the heat after we finished playing games earlier than we expected that first day. Super quick responses. Lots of little details provided a comfortable, inviting space that exceeded our expectations! If we come back to this area, we will he staying here!! Thank you!!

Perfect home away from home.

Check-in and check-out were super easy. We enjoyed the board game choices. The beds were very comfortable. Bathrooms for everyone of us. We had everything we needed and if we didnt have it, stores are nearby. Great location in a quiet and friendly neighborhood. Loved staying at this house.

We love everything about being vacation home hosts and have recently added the The Lake House to our small collection of rental properties in Wichita. When our next door neighbors decided to move, we couldn't pass up the opportunity to purchase their house. We have extended family around the state and from California that visit frequently and also love being hosts, so buying the house next door made total sense. Plus, we love our neighborhood and our city, so we take great pride in sharing it with people visiting Wichita from all over the world.

Qué distingue a esta propiedad

There are so many great features of this house. Our favorite thing about it has to be the great view from the deck out onto the lake. It's very peaceful to sit out and watch the wildlife or take a stroll around the neighborhood. There is great light throughout the house, comfortable beds and furniture, and the space is designed simply to feel like home so you can come in and make it your own for a few days.
