This 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath 2 story stilt home boasts numerous upgrades, including granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances, luxury vinyl plank flooring upstairs and a brand new upstairs bathroom. With beautiful furnishings and a large covered wrap around porch, this home truly has it all! Large kitchen and dining space for entertaining indoors as well as a large downstairs master bedroom and bathroom. Upstairs you will be greeted by two additional large bedrooms with walk in closets to store all of your bathing suits. An optional linen package is available upon request. Close to Sand Dollar Lake, you are just a short golf cart ride or walk away from the beach! This home is located close to all the amenities that come along with Ocean Lakes Family Campground. Amenities included are indoor/outdoor pools, lazy river, water park, miniature golf, arcade, basketball courts, volleyball courts, corn hole tournaments and much more!!

Stayed with kids and gkids (adults and teens). Property was absolutely spotless upon our arrival. Plenty of room and space for everyone. Everything was there that we needed to set up house and communication with owner was awesome! This home is a definite “10”….everyone loved it. We all had a wonderful time!

LOVED IT

We loved everything about Ocean Lakes and this rental. Communication was easy and wonderful from the moments even before we booked and then throughout the entire stay. House was clean and exceeded our expectations. We had 3 adults and 2 children and there was more than enough room! We felt “home” away from home! Porch was nice for all of our evenings! Ocean lakes itself blew me away and I’m already planning our return for next summer! The whole family was sad to leave! Highly recommend this property and host!

Just ok

House is just ok. It wasn’t super clean, walls baseboards, doors etc were extremely dirty. Basic cleaning was done before we arrived. House size accommodated our family. Location was decent but must get a golf cart walking to beach and pool are pretty good walk. You are definitely paying for the ocean lakes activities for the cost of the house.

not what I thought

We paid for linen and it was all miss matched, we went out and bought our own. We paid for cleaning fee ..house was not clean when we arrived. We had a list of things too clean before departing...which we did on arrival and when we left. My son, wife and 1 year old son stayed upstairs. The thermostat would only go to 70 degrees and not any lower. My family upstairs was miserable. Temperature upstairs was 76 to 78 degrees at night. My grandson was very uncomfortable and needless to say did not sleep good at all. My son, wife and grand left Thursday night. I have always been pleased with our rentals but this vacation was not what I expected and very disappointing.

Bday trip

We stayed here for my daughter and her friend's 13th bday. The biggest issue I had prior to arrival was the lack of information related to the linens. It is not clear from the listing that linens are not provided. It was only when I noticed it in another review a couple of days prior to our visit that I asked the host and then I was told that linens were not provided. I rent pretty regularly on VRBO and have never experienced this. If linens are not provided it is always stated clearly. The host indicated that the listing does not say it is included. I am glad I noticed it. Just felt like the host was being intentionally shady. When we arrived we needed two parking passes. The host indicated that she had already just told them 1 because she had not heard from me. In her defense I do understand that I missed the request for me to notify her. I apologized and asked if she would please let them know. At first she seemed to not be willing and asked me to just let them know and see what happens. Just did not seem like she was willing to be helpful. Next, prior to arrival, the host did not ask for guest information. Once I arrived she wanted the names and birthdates of all the occupants, which is valid, but I was asked just as I was unloading and unpacking and she just kept texting about it. The house is adorable, but you do need a golf cart. The house was mostly clean. Overall, I liked the home, but would not rent again due to my experience with the host.

Great Stay

Property does not have linen, including sheets on beds, some amenities were not accessible, smelled like pets in the living room area, it was a nice size for a family of 6. This is in an secluded neighborhood. It cost $15 per day to park each vehicle. Other then that. The stay was ok.

Campground stilt home

Unclear instructions regarding property. It is part of the Ocean Lakes campground, & if you do not rent through Ocean Lakes Properties you must check in at the main entrance. Here you are informed that there is a $12 fee per vehicle per day for parking permits. My family & I we’re not informed about this. The property is not locked upon arrival or departure. We received an email the day before our arrival informing us to arrive promptly at our checkin time because the owner has “someone watching the home”. This was a major inconvenience because we’d hope to make stops along the way. There are detailed cleaning instructions that include cleaning toilets, showers, mirrors, & swiffering floors. We are not sure if this property utilized a cleaning service. It does need a deep cleaning Including air vents & under the furniture. We cleaned on arrival & prior to departing. We recommend taking a table cloth/cover, as it was very difficult to keep the dining table clean. Also, when we booked we did not see an option for requesting linens & towels & were reminded 24hrs prior to arrival that we would not have them. It may have been possible for an up-charge, we decided to not take a chance & went to the local Walmart & make do. Campground staff & Ocean Lakes checkin staff were extremely helpful.

Nice property and neighborhood

Enjoyed our stay. House was spacious and updated. Golf cart comes with the house. Governor on the thermostat was our chief issue and no linens, but other than that no problems.
