Big Disappointment
Rating Details:
The property manager was more than helpful.
The vacation rental was very clean.
I was very happy with the location.
I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.
Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental.
Reviewer Comments:
The photos in the advertising as very deceiving. The chair in the living room was broken. The owners put a pillow over the springs to make it more comfortable but you sink way down when sitting in it. The glass coffee table is very wobbly so we were afraid to put anything on it. The window coverings in the guest bedroom were broken. The towels were paper thin so I had to buy new ones (which I kept). I was told there were hangers in the unit. Ten hangers is all so I bought 60 more (left behind for the next renter). There was zero storage in the kitchen. I think we had 5 shelves to keep supplies for a two month stay. I also had to buy storage containers for left overs which I also left behind for the next renter. The kitchen is minimally stocked with bakeware and utensils. There wasn't even a pizza cutter. The lighting in the unit is terrible. We had to buy new light bulbs (which we took with us) so we could even see. The master bed is new with a deep mattress. However, the mattress pad and sheets are for a thinner mattress so the sheets came loose every night. On the brighter side, the location and amenities are great! The view from the deck is outstanding! Pickleball, weight room, pool are wonderful additions to the complex. The unit may be updated but not done very well. We would stay at South Seas again but not in this unit.
