Spacious and charming apartment. Located within minutes of the town centre - location perfect. On site parking which is always a plus. Stephane was always very responsive to all our requests. Amboise is a lovely spot to stay and explore the Loire Valley. Charming and unique place to stay.

Superb location!We very much appreciated having a parking space.Amboise is a busy town, especially on market day.The apartment is well furnished for a group. The kitchenhas everything you might need to prepare a meal. The beds are comfortable. The historical background provided by the host made it an interesting experience!

Le Clos Renaissance was the perfect choice for my family during our recent stay in Amboise! Spacious and comfortable, the apartment had great amenities and the building and grounds were filled with character. The location was a five minute walk to the center of Amboise where the streets are lined with shops and restaurants. Stephane was great with communication and responded quickly when I had questions. I highly recommend this property.

Excellent location and spacious home

Family of four enjoyed a week in this wonderful apartment. Very convenient to most all of Amboise. We walked to dinner every night and enjoyed the center of Amboise very much . We highly recommend. The only issue was finding the key upon arrival, but when we looked at the directions sent to us carefully, it was easy to find .

Amazing stay in Amboise

Exceeded our expectations. Very central with parking included. Lovely garden to enjoy. We were two couples that had our own privacy but ample room to spare. Our host, Stephane, was always available. Beds very comfortable with, washing machine, dishwasher and a nice kitchen for dinners in. It was the perfect place for 2 weeks in charming Amboise!

Stepping Back in Time- so enchanting

Everything about our stay in Amboise at Le Clos Renaissance was just perfect. The apartment was so much better than my wildest expectations. To spend a week living in a building that retained so much of its ancient character and feel yet was so incredibly comfortable was priceless really. I thank the hosts for sharing this incredible property with travelers. We felt so privileged to be able to call it home for a week.

The pictures don’t do it justice!!

This was by far the most beautiful VRBO property we have stayed at. We have 4 kids and it had everything we needed. The beds were super comfortable, the architecture was gorgeous, the location is 60 seconds away from downtown and most importantly pastries! The only thing I would say are better bed pillows, they were decorative and not comfortable.

What a treat!

We stayed in this beautiful, historic apartment for 12 delightful days. It is living history. It is owned by Stephane, Sophie, Louis and Thomas who are charming hosts. The neighborhood is perfect for exploring Amboise and the best base for seeing the rest of the Loire Valley. We will definitely return in the future. Thank you, Parisis family.

Wonderful apartment in a great location!

The apartment was large with beautiful gardens. While it had the character of a 15th century building, the kitchen and bathrooms were modern. Everything was very clean and the kitchen was well-equipped. The location was perfect, only a few minutes walk to restaurants, the Amboise chateaux, Leonardo da Vinci's Clos Luce, as well as a grocery store and bike rentals. Communication with the owners was easy. We definitely recommend this awesome apartment!

Rarely are properties better than their descriptions but this apartment definitely is such a place. Located at the heart of Amboise in a beautiful historic building the apartment was a truly wonderful place for us to stay. The rooms were all huge including the main bathroom and kitchen. Everything was very tastefully decorated and very clean. The views out the windows were of the beautiful private courtyard on one side and the chateau on the other. Gated parking was a big plus. A clothes washer in the huge kitchen was a big plus. A short 2 minute walk to the main street full of restaurants, shops, the chateau, and the Divinci museum. Our host was very easy to communicate with. Check in and check out was on-site and super easy. Hope to return to this beautiful property someday.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. Le logement était propre, confortable, très bien équipé et parfaitement conforme à la description. Sa localisation centrale est un véritable atout : tout est accessible à pied, ce qui permet de profiter pleinement de la ville. La communication avec l’hôte a été simple et efficace tout au long du séjour. Nous recommandons vivement ce logement et y reviendrions avec plaisir.

Magnifique appartement ancien mais parfaitement rénové au centre d’Amboise qui permet de profiter à la fois des visites et des commerces de proximité. Le jardin est magnifique. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour !

Amboise Stay

Very old property but converted nice rooms but very small second bath as part of the bedroom on one end. The large living spaces, it was very nice and easy to visit and play games. Town was close and easy to get too and plenty of parking off the street. Host met us and showed us everything great support.

Right in the centre of everything

This is a large, well furnished and equipped 3 bedroom apartment right in the centre of Amboise. It is located in a 15th century building, but is completely up to date. It is really quite something to stay there. There is dedicated parking for a vehicle (we had a very large Mercedes SUV - it was tricky to get through the gates, but it is do-able - once inside the courtyard, there is more than enough space). We got complete instructions for a self check in. The instructions came in multiple pages - make sure you read them in the right order! The apartment is well equipped and very large. It is steps away from restaurants, shops, food shops and the chateau. It's a good location for visiting other parts of the Loire. It is about 20 steps up from ground level with a decently wide spiral staircase. The ensuite bathroom is a bit unusual in that all facilities are open to the room. The family bathroom is very large with a very good shower. All of the wifi, kitchen and laundry equipment works well. The owners are very responsive to requests. They managed to help us with heating the apartment in very late September when the nights got a bit damp and chilly. We appreciated their responsiveness very much. Highly recommended.

Ambroise 15th century “Charming” experience

Excellent experience and truly enjoyed our 6-night stay. Very close to restaurants and grocery stores and village boutiques, including chocolate and ice cream. It’s a 500yr old Chateau with a very modern touch. Apartment worked great for two couples and had nice hard beds, nice furniture and upgraded kitchen complete with washing machine. Drying racks were provided as well and worked great. Hosts were wonderful and excellent to work with. Gardens were beautiful to sit in and relax. Such a cool experience and so glad we chose this 15th century living lifestyle in Ambroise!! Last, the bakery around the corner was a “hit” with my husband.

Wonderful historical property artfully restored

It's not often you get to stay in an historical 15th century property. From Amboise castle on the hill you can see this property clearly as it stands above the cityscape. Clearly an important building in its time. And such a superb apartment. With super stone fireplace, creaky floorboards, ancient woodwork. Just simply stunning. Beds are comfy, Views of the garden lovely. Even the garden is stately home style with flower beds and gravel paths in symmetry. Parking easy. Really close to the town centre but quiet with it. I really cannot fault this property at all.

Lovely apartment

This apartment is beautiful. The location is ideal to the central part of Amboise. There is ample parking. The property manager, Stephan, is a very nice person. We would stay there again.
