Cozy living room, large dining room, fully stocked kitchen, 3 second-story bedrooms with balcony at the end of the hall, and 1 1/2 bathes. Perfect for getting away for rejuvenation or exploring downtown. Within walking distance to local downtown restaurants, antique shops, and boutiques. Two blocks from the Mississippi River and many other attractions.

Lovely as always

Moving our daughter in to the dorm at SEMO for yr 2. Been coming to this location since our trip here during her senior year of HS when she visited SEMO to audition for the musical theatre program. It is a great place to stay when you have more than 2 people.

Beautiful getaway!

The property was exactly as listed with so many little touches that made it special. Communication was great and we were close to downtown shops and the casino. We will definitely stay again when we are in the area.

A Beautiful Retreat for Three Generations

Three generations found rest,beauty,& joy at Serenity South. Thoughtful touches,beautiful gardens and Cape charm made this more than a stay-it became a treasured memory. We were so appreciative of the details, the fresh flowers, homemade cookies, the coffeemaker upstairs and the books and games. The beds were all comfortable. We enjoyed this historical home and our stay.

Comfortable & Clean

Great Location short walking distance to the Downtown Area with lots do do, Restaurants, Water Park, Shopping. This is the 2nd time I have stayed and it is a true delight. Very spacious and comfortable. Easy to communicate with the Owner/Manager. I will be staying there again in the future. I recommend it with 5 Stars!

Downtown home with great character

My son and two brothers stayed a night in this lovely home. I travel to Cape frequently to visit my son and will definitely stay here again.

Serenity south was welcoming comfortable and very clean. Impeccably maintained historic home. Comfortable beds, great water pressure and shower head, easy to maintain consistent temperature. Good vibes throughout. Not haunted. Beautiful outdoor space but it was too hot to use it much while we were there. Recommend stopping by the olive oil store William and Water across the street.

Perfect home for college visit

When looking for a VRBO for our daughter's college visit, we knew the perfect place to stay! This is our second stay at Serenity South and it was just as incredible as the first visit. Clean, inviting and cozy. Thanks Jo for another beautiful stay.
