Small town house !!

A great place to relax and enjoy small town feel. We are conveniently located right off I-795 & US 117, 90 min.to the beach, 50 min. to Raleigh, 7 min. to Wayne JetPort, 10 min. to historic downtown Goldsboro & SJAFB. Local restaurants and local fresh produce available to sample traditional southern flair. Our cottage is clean and comfortable for those just passing through or need a quick get away.

Racism still exists

So my wife set off a bug bomb before we put our belongings in the unit. After we checked in. The owner goes in the unit after we left to do a so called repair. So I circled the blocked pulled up and introduced myself. The look on his face was like he wanted to do something to me. But would not greet me all he said was that’s not cool y’all set a bomb off. So I explained that it’s not in the agreement. The wife calls and went off with racial slurs saying she was gonna file a claim and have me arrested. So the husband then calls a say y’all have to find a place to stay y’all can’t stay here. Why because we are black. We were there for a family reunion and wants to be closer so we chose this place which was a nightmare. This place had 5star reviews that’s why we chose this place. Not knowing they live next door. All I’m saying is this was discrimination because the color of our skin. If we had canceled them we would loose our money. He is also the Mayor of Pikeville NC. There are snakes around the property as well. So we had to look for a place to stay at the last min. Please beware! . This is gonna go to court.

Cute little house. It was plenty of space for the two of us. Joanna was easy to reach when we had questions.

Very Nice house

Very nice, clean house.. perfect for us to meet up with family and get together with our son stationed at Seymour Johnson. Will definitely stay here again for future visits.

Great experience

To start, the pictures do no justice. The house is absolutely adorable. It's very clean and homey-feeling. My kiddos (ages 4,8,9) made themselves right at home (which is very unusual). The house was fully stocked with everything you might need and then some. It's very spacious and comfortable. The location was great for us too! We were only minutes away from our family and shopping. Overall it was a great experience and if needed I would absolutely do it again!

Perfectly pleasant

This was a perfect choice to be able to reconnect with our Airman . I will never go back to a hotel this was so much more . More space ,more comforts , more home like atmosphere.

Great "home base" for baseball tournament!

We stayed at Joanna's place while attending a baseball tournament in Wilson. The home was clean, comfortable, and conveniently located. Joanna was easy to reach, and we appreciated the snacks she left on the counter!

Comfy Cottage

This comfortable cottage was more roomy than the pictures portrayed. The kitchen was well appointed and it was nice knowing that Joanna was just a few houses away, if needed. The neighborhood was great for morning walks, quiet and relaxing, and there’s a small park nearby. We would stay here again while visiting family nearby.

Weekend trip

Pikeville Retreat

We looked for a middle ground location between Raleigh, Greenville, and Wilmington and this location was perfect. House was very clean and ready for us. Best of all was the owner who was very amenable to any and all requests we had. Will be bringing home lots of fun memories from this trip.

Great Hostess and Clean Property

Joanna was very welcoming and accessible through out our stay. The house was extremely clean and comfortable. We stayed for an event at Seymour Johnston Air Force Base and it was easily accessible from Pikeville. The house accommodated our family of 4 adults very well.

Wonderful!

We rented this property to be near a family member in hospice care and had no idea how long we would be there. Joanna was so patient and understanding as we had to extend our stay multiple times and her family even extended an invitation for us to join them for Christmas dinner if we were still there. When we arrived the house was warm and inviting and already decorated for Christmas. It was complete with everything we needed as well as a few "extras" like snacks on the counter and cold water in the refrigerator. True hospitality is a rare thing these days, but we found it in Joanna and her family. We will definitely stay again when we're in the area!

Peaceful cottage getaway

Such a cute house, perfect for our stay with our kids while visiting family in the nearby town of Goldsboro. Communication with the owner was wonderful, and very thoughtful. The house had everything we needed!

Like Staying At Grandma’s

I mean that in the best way possible!! Cozy. We were in the area for a lacrosse tournament in Goldsboro. After a last minute change we missed the team hotel block and I’m so glad we did!! Garrett and Joanna had everything we needed and were the most thoughtful and considerate hosts during our stay. From bottled water in the fridge, to chips/cookies on the counter to full array of toiletries available in case you forgot something. They even upgraded their tv when they heard we were trying to catch the Ohio State football game via Hulu after our tournament schedule. They recommended Jays Kitchen to go eat dinner, which was great (Get. The. Fries!!!). We got to wash our sons uniform over night, if you know, you know!! Would definitely stay here again if we were in the area.

Cozy and clean!!

We had a wonderful stay!! I don’t think I have ever stayed in a cleaner house!! They even stocked it with coffee, tea, water and condiments !! Bed was comfy ! Everything was great!

Cozy Stay by the Railroad Tracks

We truly enjoyed this place! It had all of the amenities and more. The location was great! The space was open, clean and inviting. The homeowners were also available for anything we had questions about or needed.

Cute cottage

We had a very nice stay at the cottage. It was cosy and clean. Joanna was a very accommodating host. After a long drive from PA we appreciated the snacks she left for us! We would definitely stay here again!
