Nice Little Beach Cottage

Cottage was nestled into the dunes and just steps from the beach. Very close to town and pier. Clean and comfortable. Small space but fine for two people for a week. Nice seating outside to watch the sunrise.

Nice time nice room. T V challenging for us no local news live TV all streaming

We enjoyed our stay. Nice room & location. Would appreciate a couple more bath towels and another mirror would be nice in a room besides bathroom. We liked the Astro turf in front of our place.

Monitor items

Need to maintain fluid levels of soaps. Some containers were low or empty. The toilet flushing handle does not work normally. Ceiling fan on/off chain does not work. We had to hunt for the wall switch that was hidden behind the refrigerator. Except for the above items/issues, the stay was very nice.

Quaint cottage

Overall the property was as listed. Very clean and the perfect location. Would highly recommend for a couples getaway. Saw our first turtle nest excavation and release was awesome. Hope to return again.

Peaceful Beach Cotyage

This was a wonderful place to stay for a relaxing get away. Though it was an attached apartment, it felt like our own little cottage on the beach. Easy access to beach, walking distance to great food and the pier. The place was very clean and has nice sitting areas outside to enjoy. Best friend and I came. Coming next time with my husband!!!

The calm in the storm

We started with the best sunniest day and enjoyed the beach while we could, then ventured inside our little room in heaven and enjoyed our view of the raging seas and gusty winds while warm and. cozy . It was delightful!

Great beach bungalow!

Very cute property! Access to beach is hard to beat. Did have trouble not getting check in access code but once i called the office number (number on sign outside of property) i was able to get in.

Perfect beachside couples retreat

Communication prior to and for checking in was good. The listing was accurate and the place was setup very nice for two people. We really liked how bright it was inside with the windows and patio door. The air conditioning worked well and the ceiling fan over the bed was appreciated. Kitchen had everything needed to make meals so we didn’t have to always eat out. The location was ideal. With a bistro set on the front porch and the back patio you could get out of the sun most times of the day if needed. The back patio was great for eating breakfast and watching the sunrise. There is separate parking from the public beach access. Beach access was so convenient because you just walked out and right down to the beach. The pier and restaurants were only a short 5 minute walk. Can’t think of anything I’d change and have already recommended it to others. We will hopefully be able to book this unit for future beach trips.

Great Vrbo!

My friend and I recently stayed here for a girls trip over the weekend. It was close enough to walk to Kure Pier, which we actually walked to everyday of our trip to watch people fish of the pier. It was just far enough away to feel like we were in a local not tourist place. The Vrbo was clean and so cute! We would definitely book again. You can hear the waves crashing from the Vrbo but can not see the waves you can only see the ocean over the dunes in front of the Vrbo. It was so close to the little dock to walk to the beach and was super nice to be able to walk to the beach and back to the house for whatever we needed. This place had everything that we needed. The only thing we wished it had was more pillows for the bed (it only had two on the bed and they were very soft) and another small table/nightstand for the other side of the bed. Other than that it was everything that we needed. Our host was also amazing and gave us good recommendations and checked on us if we happened to see each other outside. We are excited to book this property again! Thank you!

Three C’s

Clean, cozy, and convenient Loved the views of the beach from the patio. The kitchen and bathroom had all of the essentials, and the bed was comfortable. Easy walk to restaurants, and a short drive to Fort Fisher and the ferry to Southport. My only complaint…housekeeping was still on site at 4:00, so we were unable to access the unit until she finished, at 4:15

Great beach vacation

Our over all stay was great , we enjoyed the place and location, only thing i would say needs improvement is the bathroom sink did not drain well and the water takes a little longer to get warm or hot , otherwise everything was good, and we will want to come back
