We didn't stay the 5 nights we had booked due to Hurricane warnings. Owner and vrbo were generous to reimburse our fee.

A great place to stay!

We absolutely loved Robert and Lina’s place. Comfortable in size, well equipped kitchen, a fantastic back deck and a location convenient to the southern part of the island. Would definitely stay again!

Awesome little house in a quiet neighborhood. Has everything you need and more. Owners are very good at communicating. We loved our stay and will want to rebook as soon as we can come back to the islands!

Great house to stay in for some relaxation on the east side of the island. Location was 30-35 minutes from Hilo, but no problems navigating all around the east side. And there were some wonderful restaurants nearby!

We enjoyed our stay. The home was clean, the beds were comfortable and was it equipped with everything that we might need. The communication was awesome with directions and awesome details. We loved the area and it was wonderful for early morning walks to the ocean.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this home. Communication was excellent always (before arrival & during). We could not get the Television to work even though instructions were left. After leaving a message on the App there was a response very soon after I sent it and the owners arranged for a lovely gentleman to contact us by phone and then came out to take a look. It turned out it was the batteries were not working in the remote, which we suspected. I recommend this home for anyone looking for tranquil environment with space and good amenities. As I said “We thoroughly enjoyed our stay” and would return again. So thank you very much for great communication and your hospitality. Mahalo from Liz, Cindy & Scarlet.

Beautiful, avacado, coconut trees in the yard. Surrounded by tropical plants. Easy access to beaches and volcanoe.

Solid Place to Stay

This property is exactly as advertised. It is a little of the beaten path but sitting on the lanai is very relaxing. We made steaks on the grill and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Nice space

This was a great space for all of us to stretch out and be comfortable after a full day of exploring. The nature sounds were peaceful and easy to go to sleep to. The lanai was amazing!

The home was great for us. The temps were cool and the fans and open windows were sufficient. We did not cook in the home but it looked to be equipped for anyone who does. The lanai was very peaceful and a great place to have your morning coffee or to wind down in the evenings. The owners were very responsive with the listing and all information was communicated well.

Gorgeous property.

We stayed 5 nights, the home was lovely, had everything we needed plus more. Great communication with the owner. Good location for exploring the whole island. Thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the verandah enjoying the breeze, view and sounds around us.

House is fully furnished with a well-stocked kitchen in a quiet and comfortable neighborhood. The location is somewhat inconvenient — most places of interest are going to be outside lower Puna (including groceries), but there is only one major road in and out of the area, which gets busy during rush hour. We appreciated the lanai on the house, which was enjoyably breezy (especially with the stocked mosquito coils to avoid getting bitten) when the main house got hot mid-morning. We (as Californians) found moisture management quite important in the damp weather on the Hilo side of the island, frequently opening windows and using the fans in the unit to avoid the "damp" smell you can otherwise get.

Amazing Time

This home was a home away from home! Super comfortable, easy access, less than 2 minutes away from a nice sea cliff you can take photos at. Really enjoyed staying here, the owner was very easy to contact if we needed anything and responded very quickly too. 100/100 will definitely be traveling here again in the future.
