Everything you love about BV is walkable from this completely remodeled house. Just steps from Main Street and a short walk to South Main, town square and the Arkansas River. This house is super clean, with new appliances and furniture. You're just 10 minutes from Cottonwood and Mt. Princeton Hot Springs and 20 minutes from Salida. Get to Monarch and Ski Cooper ski resorts in under an hour. This is our 2nd home and we want to share it with others who will treat it like their own. Features 3 bedrooms: 1 king bed, 1 queen bed and a bunk bed with a twin over double. The living room has a nice, new sleeper sofa. Bonus room that can be used as a small 4th bedroom, office or play area for the kids. Giant yard with fire pit.

* please note. The house has a mini split air conditioner in the living room and does not have central a/c

Great house with the perfect location! Hosts were easy to work with and the house was clean and nice. We enjoyed our stay very much! There is an air conditioning unit in the living room making the living area comfortable. Several fans are available throughout the house as well. It was definitely on the hot side for sleeping and we couldn’t open windows because the air quality was so bad from the wildfires. This was the only complaint. Otherwise the house was perfect.

Perfect location

Our expectations were exceeded with our stay. The location was about a block away from Main Street to be able to find several dining options in the evening. Great location for all the area's activities - whitewater rafting, hiking, hot springs, fly fishing, and more. Highly recommend.

Perfect for a family getaway

This home was everything we needed with three adults and two small kids - exceptionally clean, well stocked, great location, effective communication and just a really great experience. Highly recommend!

A/C but not. This place is cute with an awesome backyard space. The owners are responsive and very nice. The one thing l would recommend is that they take down the part of the description that says the unit has AC. It does have an AC unit - BUT it is a tiny unit meant to cool 1 room and it is mounted in the front of the house in what looks like a bay window or add on. The practical implication is that this small space is cool but the bedrooms which are through a doorway and into a hallway and through another doorway are not cooled at all. If you do not care about the rooms being cool when you sleep in the summer this place is lovely and I would recommend it. If you do care for comfort or you have older people, or you have kids that go to sleep early and don’t want to have the window open, the description is off. We were there during a concert weekend where the windows being open meant you could hear music until after midnight and could hear concert goes returning late into the night. Other than that the place was cute and clean.

Great family home in a convenient location!

We enjoyed our stay and had a great time walking and riding bikes around town. The work space and Wi-Fi worked well for me to stay connected with work while we had fun in Buena Vista. Thanks for a great stay!

Wonderful place to stay in a wonderful town!

My family and I had a wonderful time staying here and enjoying Buena Vista! Such a beautiful home with all the comforts you need both indoors and outdoors. Can't recommend it enough! We hope to come back many times.

Great Stay in BV

This was our first ever girls trip and we loved this location. Very easy to walk to the cute downtown area as well as the new area by the river. Very clean and the hosts were fantastic. 100% recommend!

Sweet Retreat

What a lovely property! The home was clean and well stocked. Communication was great and the home was everything they promised it would be. It was only a block from Main Street and close to all the activities. It was a great place for our family to gather as we celebrated the wedding of one of our kids. Highly recommend the Sweet Retreat!

Easy family trip

We really enjoyed our time in Buena Vista. The house was great and allowed our family and friends to enjoy lots of time together and explore the area as well! The owners were very responsive and helpful. Our kids loved the bunk beds and the pack n play was perfect to have for our little one!

Fishing Trip

Everything was perfect and so easy. Great house, great manager/owners. Amazing communication! No issues. Quick 4 day fishing trip with my dad and brother. Couldn’t have asked for a closer place to the fly shop and to Main Street.

Beautiful, Spacious & Family-Friendly

This property was absolutely beautiful and had plenty of space for our two families, including babies and kids — we could’ve easily fit a few more people. The location couldn’t be better — just a short walk to everything, including a local ice cream spot just a block away! The home was clean, check-in was smooth, and it made for a super comfortable stay.One small heads-up: the bathrooms didn’t have any soap and had very limited toiletries, so just be sure to bring your own.Overall, it was a perfect place for families and we’re already looking forward to coming back!
