Come and relax in a haven of peace in the middle of nature near Nérac
Isabelle and Hervé welcome you to an old peasant house from the end of the 19th century, carefully renovated and decorated.
You can follow in the footsteps of Henry IV who lived in the castle of Nérac, where he "Conta Fleurette" in the park of the garenne at the edge of the Baïse.
We are located 5 minutes from downtown Nérac, historic town of Lot et Garonne in the Lot et Garonne.
Our cottage can accommodate between 6 and 8 people. It is composed of 3 bedrooms, 2 shower rooms, a very pleasant living room, an equipped kitchen and a large 90m2 terrace which will allow you to eat in the shade of a beautiful pergola. .
We share our large private swimming pool of 13 meters by 6 meters, heated and secure, from April to October.

We really enjoyed our stay at the property and the host Hervé was really responsive to our enquiries. I think that overall the property is pretty good and suited our family, however it needs a little refresh in some areas. For example the parasols on poolside are all in need of a good clean or change, there are a number of loose paving slabs on poolside that are quite dangerous and the lighting from parking to gite was a constant problem and also potentially dangerous.

Endroit très calme en pleine nature et accueillant.

Bon point de départ pour des balades à pieds. Et un repos en pleine nature au retour, à côté de la piscine hyper grande et propre, en pleine verdure. Nerac et son parc est aussi une jolie ville royale à voir.

Wir haben den Aufenthalt in diesem wirklich schönen und praktischen Ferienhaus sehr genossen! Die Terrasse ist großzügig, es gibt eine Tischtennisplatte, der Pool ist groß und sauber. Der Garten ist ein Paradies und alles sehr ruhig gelegen. Die Hinweise von Hervé zu den Märkten sind unbedingt zu befolgen, denn es lohnt sich sehr. Rundum ein wunderbarer Platz für gute Erholung und bereichernde Natur und Kultur! Wir haben eine sehr schöne Woche in diesem Haus verbracht! Ulrike und Folker

Très bon accueil

Nous avons été très bien accueilli par Hervé. La location est très bien placée à proximité de Nerac tout en étant au calme. La grande piscine nous a permis de nous rafraîchir tous les jours lors de ces fortes chaleurs, c’était parfait.

Petit coin de paradis

Coin très tranquille en pleine nature avec le chant des oiseaux nous avons aussi aperçu une biche, tout en étant proche de Nérac avec le marché du samedi matin. Nous avons pu profiter de la piscine qui est chauffée très agréable quand il fait chaud. Expérience à refaire.

Une pépite.....

Super séjour .... hôte très serviable, arrangeant, agréable..... Le gîte superbe ♥️, 3 belles chambres une pièce de vie qui permet d'être vraiment en famille... La terrasse ..... c'est la cerise sur le gâteau 🍰... Vue magnifique......et le top du top très grande piscine 😁 avec larges marches(très bien pour les enfants)... dans un endroit verdoyant.... Bref.....on y reviendra....... merci à Hervé...

Très belles vacances en famille, gîte fonctionnel rénové avec goût, belle terrasse ombragée. Piscine au top, avec accès bien sécurisé avec nos enfants de 3 et 4 ans.

Nous avons passé un super moment. Le logement est parfait, les chambres sont spacieuses, 2 salles de bain, tout est bien pensé... Et bien renové... Mention spéciale pour la terrasse en bois super agréable et la gigantesque piscine. Nous reviendrons!

Location très agréable

Gîte avec de l'espace, déco très sympa, propriétaire agréable et attentif. Idéal pour deux familles. Nous avons apprécié les jeux extérieurs mis à disposition, volley, ping pong, pétanque.

Très agréable séjour

Très joli gîte avec une superbe suite parentale, une terrasse fermée. C est une maison idéale pour une famille avec plusieurs enfants. Il y a aussi une très belle et grande piscine en partage avec les propriétaires.

Un séjour très agréable !

Le gîte est conforme aux photos. La terrasse et la piscine sont très agréables. La maison est bien équipée : TV, lecteur de DVD, lave-vaisselle et lave-linge notamment. Prévoir de s'équiper contre les moustiques, très présents dans la région. Les propriétaires sont très sympathiques et disponibles. Le panier d’accueil a été très apprécié par toute la famille. Nous recommandons !

An idyllic location, a beautifully appointed guest home.

We cannot say enough about our 7-night stay at Chemins-de-Barth near Nerac! Our hosts, Herve and Isabelle were so welcoming and friendly and they went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. From welcome gifts to a well-stocked pantry of food essentials, they thought of everything we might need in France. The kitchen had everything we needed to make meals including a dish-washer, which made cooking and clean-up a pleasure. The fridge/ freezer was a good size as well. There was ample space to eat indoors at the large table or outdoors in the lovely shaded patio area. The three bedrooms were all well-appointed with comfy beds and ample storage. Both bathrooms were clean and pretty and had good water pressure for showers! It was great to have a washing machine for clothes as well. The surrounding outdoor areas of the property were just stunning. The view out of my back bedroom window was like an impressionsit painting! The paths around the property had good signage and night-time lighting which was really essential. There was plenty of parking available at the house as well. The in-ground heated pool was a major plus and we used it almost every day, as we were there during a heat wave! We enjoyed sharing our time in the pool with Herve and his family who were charming and friendly, and I think they also recognized that guests appreciate time alone at the pool as well. It was certainly not an issue for us at anytime, we enjoyed both experiences. In short, we appreciated all the thoughtful touches that Herve and Isabelle provided and we would definitely stay again! It was a week of pastoral beauty, and yet close to the town of Nerac and the larger city of Agen for any shopping you might want to do. Don't miss the Tuesday night market in Nerac for food, wine and music...a terrific experience! Merci beaucoup Herve et Isabelle! A la prochaine :)

Stunning place with lovely hosts

We loved our brief stay, the property is absolutely beautiful and is matched by the outside living areas. The hosts were truly lovely, I fully recommend staying!
