Completely remodeled 2/1 cottage (Q, 2-Tw, new floors, appliances & a Chip n' Joanna approved kitchen & bath) with a huge, oversized deck on an acre with 100 feet of unobstructed views over Lake Wateree!

Why is the Camden side important? This means everything! Evening sunsets that will blow your mind with oranges, reds & pinks!

Private, boat dock and a shared boat ramp with only our other three cabins! Need a Fire Pit and Gas Grill? We got you! Need a kayak and paddleboard? We got you. Space for a trailer or two? We got you. WiFi for streaming, Washer & Dryer, Gas Grill & Fully Stocked kitchen for cooking ... everything you need to feel at home.

Our lake is typically a beach-entry type lake depending on the water levels. We also overlook one of Wateree's islands, are in a cove and no, there are no alligators this far north (Floridians always ask).

LOCATION: Located in Camden, SC on beautiful Lake Wateree (less than 1/2 mile to Clearwater Marina whose address at 2029 Baron Dekalb Rd, Camden SC for our roundabout location). Only 12 minutes to downtown Camden, to Wal-Mart, Starbucks & Chic-fil-a! The Charlotte airport is 1.5 hours and Columbia, SC is only 45 minutes away. Also, less than 5 minutes to a Dollar General (a very good one) that will have what you forgot! Yes, we have upscale restaurants nearby and yes we are near the South Carolina Equine Park facility in Camden and HOTH Ranch (their visitors stay with us often!)

Needs some TLC and a serious DEEP Clean

The cottage location and layout are great, BUT it needs lots of TLC. 2 kitchen cabinet doors are ready to fall off, the shower faucet and handles are really loose, the towel rack is busted, toilet paper holder on backwards. All those things can be easily fixed with a little time and money. The biggest complaint I have is the cleanliness of the cottage. Shower mat was gross (i washed it) towels didn't smell clean so I also rewashed those, one of the twin beds had dirt and crumbs in it, the kitchen floor is absolutely filthy black and the bathroom floor, sink, tub and toilet were not cleaned. I found some cleaner and cleaned what was clearly visible so I didn't feel as grimey. but needs a major mopping. Wouldn't stay again unless these things were all rectified.

Really nice location and access.

I was fairly impressed with the location and the access to the lake. The house was as advertised and I was pleasantly surprised by the room available in the kitchen area and the deck. The dock is newer and was great for just sitting and enjoying the view and the sun. The location on the lake was good as there was very little boat traffic in the immediate vicinity. My only concern was the shape of some features in the bathtub and kitchen cupboards. Not a show stopper, but a little annoying. Overall a very good place to stay. I'll be looking to come back.

Nice Place

If 2 beds/1 bath is a fit for your group and both pet & boat friendly are important to you, this home is one of the better options at Lake Wateree. Privacy is lacking but it's a trade off we were willing to make for the many positive amenities the property has.

Week long lake ride

House is fine, dock and ramp are superb, super nice to be able to walk down and step onto the boat, rode the lake everday. House was cozy, great size for a couole or small family. AC kept pace thru 100+ heat index days, porch was very nice while the bugs were tolerable. There were nights the bugs kept us inside. Bathroom fixtures are cheap, requires a little fancy handle work, but 100% usable As for the furniture, thats where this house lacks comfort. Our bed was terrible, my shoulder and neck hurt everyday, matteress is well worn, and the gel pad on top exacerbated the feeling of the hole in the middle, we both complained about neck, shoulder, back pain. The living room furniture is equally uncomfortable.

Nice little lake house!

Nice place, quiet neighborhood, extremely great communication and service from property managers. Behind beds in kids room had trash that hadn't been cleaned and between cushions on couch there was some dirt. Minisplit Ac/heat units may need cleaning as they seemed musty smelling at first. That was my only complaints and not anything that was real bad. Enjoyed our stay there and wish I would have had more time there. I would come back and stay here again. Thanks for sharing your house with us!

Relaxing, peaceful cottage at the lake

We really enjoyed our time. The cottage was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. We love the outside chair but we could not sit there as we wanted because the weather was cold. The view to the lake is wonderful specially at sunset. I got the chance to meet the host and very nice couple. Definitely we will be back someday. I recommended this cottage it is worth it!

Relaxing week with beautiful surroundings

The cottage was perfect for the two of us. Excellent Wi-Fi service for telecommuting for work, comfortable sitting room and well-equipped kitchen. The lake is so relaxing, and we were blessed with beautiful sun sets each evening. Thanks for sharing your cottage!

Great stay at Wateree

We really enjoyed our stay at the Blue Sheron Cottage. We arrived after dark and the outside lights were on, which was a big help unloading. Everything was exactly as advertised. Clean and had everything we needed. Loved it and will be back again!

Amazing As Always - Sunsets, Views, and Hosts

The place is a very simple cottage, perfect for 3-4 who don't mind a smaller space and sharing one bathroom. The cottage is very clean and cozy. The hosts are exceptional and extremely accommodating. The sunsets and the views are simply breathtaking. The cottage is a short boat ride to many fantastic restaurants on the Camden side; as well as, the Ridgeway side of the lake. This is my second time staying at the cottage and I'll definitely stay again when I'm able to.

Sweet cottage

We rented this cottage for our overflow guests visiting us at the lake. They loved it. Very clean, cute and a beautiful setting. The cove is nice and quiet, feels very safe for a family, wonderful view. The house had everything you might need. One minor issue was the battery was dead in the digital door lock but they were quick to repair it the next day. Thanks for a great stay!

Gem on the lake

Beautiful setting on the lake, clean, comfortable home that has everything you need for a relaxing stay. Fishing is excellent and kayaks are a great additions to fun on the lake. Jeff, owner, so personable and kind took time to meet us and make sure our stay was enjoyable…. Definitely recommend this location. We look forward to visiting again.

Perfect location

A last minute getaway with the husband and close friends. Pet friendly place and perfect location for beautiful sunsets on the water. Homeowner was very friendly. Went to dinner by boat and caught some good fish! Nice relaxing vacation
